The US is an empire in decline. It’s influence and power of manipulation is still significant, and as that influence is being expressly and poorly managed to keep the failing control over the world in place, it is only exacerbating the rate at which the Empire’s decline is actually declining.
We don’t have an empire and we aren’t falling.
