22-year-old Israeli man murdered in terror attack at supermarket in Judea, two terrorists killed in shootout

Peloni:  Both terrorists have been reported to be members of the Palestinian Police, an American equity.  Indeed, these well trained enforcers of Pal society intended to walk into a supermarket where they would have had an unfettered access to untold numbers of victims.  In fact, it was only due to the by chance presence of armed civilian and off duty soldier, and a locked door, thank G_d, that such an event did not take place.  While the terrorists being Pal Police comes as no surprise, and only adds to the list of literally dozens of Pal Police who have preceded these two in committing terror attacks, it reinforces the reality that this reservoir of terror, which is financed, trained, and armed by Israel’s American ally, must be disbanded, its arms must be stacked, and an alternate option must be pursued in place of further supporting this den of miscreant savages.

A 22-year-old man was killed in a terror attack at the Gush Eitzion junction in Judea, south of Jerusalem, on Thursday which involved two Palestinian terrorists who attempted to enter a supermarket and attack customers.

An initial investigation of the incident indicated that the two terrorists arrived in a stolen car at supermarket at the Gush Etzion Junction. They attacked the supermarket’s security guard with knives, stabbed him – and then took his weapon in order to carry out a larger attack.

The two terrorists arrived at the shopping center compound and first looked for parking. They then approached the security guard, stabbing him, and then after stealing his weapon, they shot him at point blank range. One of the terrorists then tried to enter the supermarket through a side entrance, which was locked.

Security camera footage shows that the two terrorists then began to shoot at people from the parking lot, before an armed civilian and an off-duty soldier engaged the two in a gun battle, killing them.

G., the civilian who helped neutralize the terrorist, told Channel 12 News that he heard the shots while standing in line at the checkout.

“Someone came into the supermarket and shouted that there were terrorists outside, I left all my items, and immediately ran out with another soldier who was dressed in civilian clothes,” G. related.

The terrorists were hiding behind cars, which made it difficult for G. and the off-duty soldier to identify where the fire was coming from initially.

“There were a lot of shots, we didn’t know at first exactly where they were coming from. Finally, we managed to identify the two terrorists who were hiding – and we eliminated them,” he said.

Magen David Adom first responders found the 22-year-old security guard without a pulse and were eventually forced to declare his death after resuscitation efforts failed.

MDA emergency medic Avraham Seibald said, “This is the scene of a shocking shooting attack. We arrived with a large Magen David Adom force, and there was a lot of commotion and panic at the scene of the incident. When we approached the scene, we saw a 20-year-old man lying unconscious, without a pulse and without breathing, suffering from very severe gunshot wounds to his body. We quickly performed medical examinations, but unfortunately, we had to pronounce him dead on the spot.”

Seibald also stated that MDA teams provided medical treatment to victims suffering from panic attacks who were present at the scene.

After the shooting attack, the IDF announced that its forces had encircled the Palestinian town of Halhul, setting up roadblocks in the area.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called Gush Etzion Regional Council head Yaron Rosenthal from Washington, DC, after the attack to express support for the council and condolences to the family of the victim.

“Terror in Judea and Samaria will not be allowed to raise its head,” Netanyahu told Rosenthal.

“A tense silence prevailed in the European Parliament hall in Strasbourg when Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) Director Itamar Marcus presented to those present how the European Union’s (EU) tax money is used to encourage terror”.

“The terror attacks are a direct result of a PA educational agenda that is funded by European money, which built and shaped the generation that fulfilled it in practice [on Oct. 7].”

WASHINGTON (AP) — Officials say the Obama administration in its waning hours defied Republican opposition and quietly released $221 million to the Palestinian Authority that GOP members of Congress had been blocking.

A State Department official and several congressional aides said the outgoing administration formally notified Congress it would spend the money Friday morning. The official said former Secretary of State John Kerry had informed some lawmakers of the move shortly before he left the State Department for the last time Thursday. The aides said written notification dated Jan. 20 was sent to Congress just hours before Donald Trump took the oath of office.

The Clinton administration, specifically under President Bill Clinton, was the first to fund the Palestinian Authority Police.
      More specifically:
The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) initiated a covert program in early 1996 to professionalize the Palestinian security services and assist in counterterrorism efforts.
President Clinton signed a presidential order creating this program and providing tens of millions of dollars in funding.
The CIA trained Palestinians in interrogation techniques and file organization, while also providing them with advanced equipment, such as radio communication systems, X-ray equipment, bomb detection scanners, computers, and vehicles.
In addition to this covert program, Clinton also ordered the allocation of $4 million in March 1994 and an additional $5 million in March 1995 for the construction of a Palestinian police force.
These actions were part of broader U.S. efforts to support the Israeli-Palestinian peace process and the nascent Palestinian Authority, established in the aftermath of the Oslo Accords.
