Taking this writer’s suggestion at the encouragement of Hungarian Nobel Laureate Elie Wiesel – the chairman, The U.S. Holocaust Commission secured the site directly across the Washington Monument – and to the north of it in direct line to The White House.
(Incidentally, the WIKI-cited Romania of Wiesel’s parents was Hungary proper before the Trianon Treaty).
