Peloni: It is one thing to retreat from forcing democratic ideals upon foreign nations and quite another to champion totalitarianism as virtue over an allied democratic nation. While Barrack would probably like us to ignore the relevance of his significant business connections to Qatar raised as well as his Lebanese heritage recalled to mind, it is this very background which might afford us a window into the psyche of the man most responsible for pretending that Jolani is not a terrorist in a suit, but a Syrian partner in peace, even as this suited terrorist describes both the US and Israel as terrorists.

From a pragmatic standpoint, I don’t believe it matters what Barrack thinks or says. Israel holds both the experience and the full understanding of the situation in the Middle-East and is most definitely able to take the most appropriate actions.

Unless it comes with the support of US pressure which appears to be exactly what is taking place. The question remains whether Bibi will withstand this pressure.
Barrack’s statement is antizionist, to say that Israel is not a democracy. We know now that antizionism is racism. Barrack has a racist attitude towards Israel.
“Hey, Rubio, recall this dimwit and make him ambassador to Somali, Minnesota.

“ The modern country of Lebanon was founded when France established the State of Greater Lebanon on September 1, 1920, within the League of Nations mandate after World War I. It became the Lebanese Republic in 1926, with full independence declared on November 22, 1943, and French troops fully withdrawing in 1946. “
