However we are where we are so the “Seven Sisters” and the entire oil business will now shrink even faster (a) low oil prices exhaust the fields at a faster rate; (b) too many have been alarmed by the price spikes of Ukraine and Iran so there will be an acceleration to alternatives – not only wind, insulation, tidal and solar (WITS) but to Africa and others growing oil plants: olives, Jatropha, Jojoba and rape (colza) etc to “diesel” fuel farming and much else. Ther will be big bucks too for those who can increase the prodction of ammonia which in water solution can fuel vehicles: aircraft, ships, rail and trucks. Diesels burn anything.
