No Immunity Under Guise of Humanitarian Aid

Peloni:  In recent months, Human rights NGOs were demonstrated to have been complicit in terrorism as they acted in compliance with demands made upon them by the likes of Hamas [see video below].  In response to these revelations, Min. Chikli put forward regulations which would expose such terror connections among NGOs.  While opposing these new regulations, Doctors without Borders brought a complaint before the High Court, seemingly to preserve the privacy of the NGOs so as to conceal any involvement with nefarious actors such as Hamas.  The High Court refused to grant the appeal by Doctors with Borders, thus requiring the NGOs to unmask their records…This was a very big deal.  Min. Chikli’s comments celebrating this victory are below.

Minister of Diaspora and Combating Antisemitism Amichai Chikli | X | May 20, 2026

The celebration is over! The High Court has upheld our policy – there will be no immunity for terrorism under humanitarian guise.

After decades of lawlessness, during which international aid organizations operated in Judea and Samaria and Gaza without any oversight, played a double game and even aided terrorism—we have restored sovereignty.
The precedent-setting government decision that I led puts an end to the lawless zone and requires the organizations to exercise full transparency.

19 organizations refused to cooperate.
Among them is also the “Doctors Without Borders” organization—the same organization for which we uncovered irrefutable evidence of Hamas and Islamic Jihad operatives working in its ranks.

They, of course, ran a campaign against us that ended in a petition to the High Court—but they received a crushing response.
The court rejected their position, upheld my policy, and gave them a 30-day ultimatum to complete the transparency process we set—failing which their activities will be completely halted.

The State of Israel will no longer allow terrorist activity under humanitarian guise.
