Note further that Ahmadinejad turned up at a memorial service for Khamenei yesterday. As I noted before, there is a disinfo opp taking place here, the only question is whose disinfo opp it is. In any event, Shine provides further analysis on the issue of the Israeli plan to overthrow the regime, but more than this, she speaks to the recognition that devleoped in the aftermath of the 12 Day War that the real target in a war with Iran needs to be not the nuclear program, but the regime itself. To me this isn’t exactly “Rocket Science”. Been on my mind since 1979. It would be nice if the US Administration were to read an unexpurgated version of the Koran, just to get a true picture of what it is up against.
Of course It may be that the Admin found it to be non-acceptable from a publicity standpoint, to have a real human target in mind… Better to have the words “nuclear program” which appears to be more sanitized; no people involved.
