Peloni: This week, Gadi Taub and Mike Doran return to discuss the passage of the Draft Evasion law over which Mike shares two important observations at the 21min. mark following which he and Gadi both agree with what has been mentioned on this site several times: that if the Left comes to power, they will pass the Haredi legislation with whatever terms the Haredi want – as Yossi Baum stated, the Left doesn’t want the Haredi in the IDF, they want them in a Left led govt – and that the High Court will simultaneously drop its objections to the same Right Block legislation which it vetoed because the veto was only intended to obstruct and diminish the Right’s political options. At the 32min mark they shift to talking about the defunct MOU in which Mike draws attention to the fact that Trump’s efforts to draw Iran back to negotiations is failing, and that a far more pronounced set of targets will need to be chosen to punish Iran for its failure negotiate. The final topic discussed is the Rahm Emannuel and Ro Kanna visits to Israel which are covered beginning at the 49min mark. Notably, the latter visit resulted in a new round of the Settler Violence accusations, to which Gadi proposes that a Fast Response Group be put together to help dispel the nonsensical claims made by the likes of Ro Kanna in real time due to Israel’s govt failures to do as much.
