Peloni: This is a must see video by Dr. Sheila Nazrian in which she provides a stirring description of the deep connection between what is taking place in America today with what took place in Iran during the Islamic Revolution in Iran in 1979. Nazarian recounts her family’s harrowing escape from Iran during the Islamic Revolution, describing how they were smuggled out in 1985 hidden under burlap sacks and corn in the back of a truck. She details the terrifying journey across the desert to the Pakistani border, where they endured gunshots from border police before eventually making their way to Vienna and finally entering the United States. Drawing from this lived experience, Nazarian warns her audience that she recognizes the patterns of that revolution— which she says turned Iran into a “prison for women” and a state sponsor of terrorism—emerging again today. She asserts that she has “seen this movie before” and urges Americans to recognize these dangerous ideological shifts before history repeats itself. At about 12 minutes into the speech, Nazarian addresses the students who are today acting as useful idiots in the remaking of the tragedy of her childhood, challenging them with the fact that they have no conception of what the world would look like without America and that Israel stands on the front line of battle in the war between civilization and barbarism.
A Warning from an Iranian Jewish Refugee

It is inspiring to hear Mrs. Nazarian speak of her experience of fleeing Iran with her family. She knows what violent revolutions can do to a country and its people. She understands the feeling of being stateless (temporarily) and thus appreciates living in the USA.
She can see, in the Red-Green alliance, the same violence and destruction as occurred in Iran in 1979. So she can see through the lies and deception of both the Marxists and the Islamists.
When looking at these political movements (both of which are totalitarian), through a young woman’s eyes, you realize she is not offering an abstract discussion of government policies. Instead, these movements which are destructive of all human rights make their mark personally through trauma.
A young person experiences the dangerousness of speaking out about the harm done by the government. She knows it could cause her to be disappeared from her family and her world for years and might even lead to her death.
Mrs. Nazarian experienced the pain and trauma from psychopathic totalitarians. Those experiences made it possible for Mrs. Nazarian to realize the meaning of freedom which was built into the Constitution and which is in the DNA of Americans.
She can see clearly the consequences of allowing totalitarian governments such as that of Qatar and Turkey using their money to indoctrinate American students. The students thus indoctrinated think Israel is a colonialist state, America is a racist country, and Marxism will bring fairness. Their lack of knowledge and gullibility makes them vulnerable to having their minds hijacked by countries which specialize in terrorism.
This is an error the US must correct. We must stop allowing the indoctrination of our young generation by foreign countries with foreign values that are hostile to our own.
I do not know what can be done about those college students or former college students who have already been indoctrinated and don’t even know it. They are lost. Their values don’t fit the values of Americans, because they have been seduced into values that are medieval, the very values that America was founded to rise above and beyond.
Perhaps these individuals can take an educational trip to the countries which paid for their indoctrination, such as Qatar and Turkey. Maybe they need to spend enough time in these countries to see for themselves the medieval values that once sounded so good in college.
Wow what a powerful message. We need many more just like her to speak up!
May G-d bless her and keep her safe!
