THE EVIAN CONFERENCE: HOW THE WORLD BETRAYED THE JEWS?!

Peloni: The Evian Conference was an international conference held in Évian-les-Bains, France, from July 6–15, 1938, at the initiative of U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt. Representatives from 32 countries met to discuss the growing refugee crisis created by Nazi Germany’s persecution of Jews and other groups, particularly following the Anschluss of Austria in March 1938. What followed was an indictment of the world’s complicity in the Holocaust. Most notable, however, was the role played by Perfidious Albion in blocking Jewish immigration to Mandatory Palestine, which had been designated by international law as the homeland of the Jewish people in their ancient homeland, while the Jews of Europe were instead abandoned to be slaughtered.
