In this video, Avi Abelow details the truth that the Qusra story is not a tale of “settler violence,” but is instead the consequence of inadequate Israeli deterrence, a decades-long land struggle, the weaponizing of US citizenship to influence US/Israeli policy, and a standing threat posed by the Palestinian Authority’s armed forces.

Four truths which fail to be told by the media:

1. The IDF has left a vacuum allowing Jihadi attacks against Jewish farms and villages.  Avi explains that Jewish retaliation in places such as Qusra is a result of the restrictive rule of engagement which the IDF work which precludes any deterrence to Arab attacks against Jews. Because the army acts too late or too narrowly or not at all, young Jews are filling the vacuum acting to defend themselves.

2. There is a war over land.  The Palestinian Authority, backed by European money, has spent 30 years supporting illegal construction all across Judea and Samaria, including strategic hilltops overlooking Jewish communities and roads. Hilltop youth and families establish outposts and farms which prevent this land takeover.

3. Avi warns that US citizens who exist among the jihadi population are weaponizing their American passports to draw Washington into local conflicts and pressure Israeli policy to support Jihadi objectives. Israel’s leadership’s consistent apologizing in place of publicly explaining what is taking place only serves to fuel this process.

4. The PA has some 70,000 armed, U.S.-trained men and argues that Israel wrongly treats the PA as a peace partner rather than an enemy force with the capacity and conviction of attacking Israeli communities.  Hence, the Palestinian Authority is an army in waiting.  The PA’s forces must be disarmed and dismantled before another, more devastating October 7 takes place.
