Hamas’ barbaric attack on Israel evokes memories of Nazi atrocities

Dear Ted,

Last night on The Ezra Levant Show, I gave a half-hour presentation on the horrors of the Hamas terrorist attack on Israel.

Normally my show is behind a paywall, for subscribers only. But what happened this weekend in Israel was of historic significance — in some ways like 9/11 and even the Holocaust. It certainly had elements of each. So we have unlocked last night’s episode.

But I warn you: do not watch it if you are faint of heart. I include some video clips of atrocious acts of violence and degradation — video clips that the terrorists themselves broadcast. Those acts of barbaric cruelty weren’t a side-effect or a rogue act.

They were the central purpose of the attack, to demoralize and shock and psychologically terrorize Israel, and indeed everyone in the free world. I hesitate to ask you to see them. But you must — you must know the depth of the evil we are up against.

In that way, Hamas is worse than the Nazis. Hitler was very public about his anti-Semitism, of course. But the Nazis covered up their death camps, which were only fully revealed after the war. Perhaps Hitler suspected that ordinary Germans had too much humanity left in them, too large a vestige of Christian charity to countenance mass murder and torture.

Not Hamas. For them, torture and depravity are the point. They’re pure evil. And like the Nazis, they must be stopped — not bargained with, not comprised with.<

It might not seem like a big thing, but here at Rebel News, we do independent journalism. That won’t save any lives or stop any attacks. But maybe it will help bring out the truth about what happened, and the war that has begun.

Because you certainly won’t get that truth from the mainstream media. I just read a story on the CBC and another on the BBC about civilians who died “because of the conflict”. They both said that — the passive, anonymous voice. They didn’t say “Hamas” or “terrorists” killed them. They just said these civilians died “because of the conflict”. They won’t even use the word “terrorism”.

That’s not journalism, that’s pro-Hamas propaganda. And Rebel News can be an antidote to that.
