  1. PELONI-

Re Arutz we just can’t tell. We’ll see tomorrow.

As for your explanation of the 2nd ‘flood’… I think your explanation is ‘dicey’. I’d thought of that, but…………that ‘2nd’ barrage had been already exhaustively dealt with by both Arutz and Israpundit several days ago.

This new article being near the top of the list, indicates to any normal thinking person, an entirely new barrage.

Indeed the very description was given as ‘Iran’s second missile flood has begun’ , seemingly ongoing, and intimating it was/had been destroyed by ISRAELS’S F-35s alone..

The earlier 181 barrage had the help of US and UK planes. indicating that this one is an entirely new event.

    It’s logical to think-if not a new attack, is…that Israpundit made a boo-boo.

  2. @Edgar
I was wondering about Arutz as well.

Regarding the title referencing the second barrage, the first barrage was the attack back in April when Biden told Bibi to take the win and Israel did not respond. It confused me as well at first.

I hope your guess about Israel destroying Hezbollah is accurate, but I think it will depend on how many casualties Israel will suffer while pushing Hezbollah north of the Awali. The report by Dr. Gada Ennab is interesting alternate possibility, namely that Israel has sufficiently weakened Hezbollah by decapitating its command structure while beeping many of their members into taking an unexpected medical leave of absence, thus allowing the Lebanese the potential of taking back control of their country and forcibly disarming Hezbollah.

Another possible alternative is that perhaps the New Jordan will take Hezbollah out with the support of SA.

But personally, I would prefer that Israel, having cut the head off of the Hezbollah dragon, was seen to deal that evil institution its final death knell.

  3. PELONI-

thank you for the info. It means to me that the IDF, is enlarging its activities more than double the distance into Lebanon, thus signalling that, as well as Hamas we intend to destroy Hezballah………….Just my guess…

All good news. But I wonder what the headline article means by the info that Iran has released a second barrage. I can find nothing on it anywhere.

Arutz 7 has not changed its news page for 4 days. I wonder why. I can understand 3, but the Chag is over in Israel, and usually the news page is completely new………….??

  4. @Edgar
Mideast Eye reports that the Awali River is 60-90km from the Israeli borders which is about 37-56 miles. Gen. Avivi made the case for using the Awali River as the new border some weeks ago, and it appears that the IDF may be acting on this.

  5. TED-

I see that the IDF has told Lebanese to evacuate beyond the Awali River.

I know the Litani is about 20 miles from border but how far is the Awali??

    Do you know??

  6. Israeli military operations in southern Lebanon have escalated, with 100 Hezbollah operatives killed in airstrikes and ground combat in the past day, according to Israeli assessments on October 4. The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) issued urgent evacuation warnings to civilians in 37 villages along the border, advising them to move north of the Awali River. The military stated that Hezbollah’s operations have forced Israel to act, but it emphasised efforts to minimise civilian casualties during airstrikes targeting Hezbollah’s weapons facilities. Lebanon’s health ministry reported that 37 people were killed in Israeli strikes the previous day.

Additionally, the IDF claimed to have conducted airstrikes on 15 Hezbollah sites in Beirut, hitting weapon depots and critical infrastructure. Tensions intensified after Hezbollah allegedly used the Masnaa civilian border crossing to smuggle Iranian weapons into Lebanon. In response, Israeli airstrikes created a large crater, cutting off the main road to Syria. The IDF also claimed to have killed several key Hezbollah commanders, including the head of its communications unit and a precision-guided missile expert. IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi vowed to continue targeting Hezbollah positions across Lebanon to prevent the group from re-establishing its strongholds.

I wish you could tell me how you sleep so well.
i really mean this. It would be a great favour.
i sleep very poorly even with sleep meds. So poorly that
i can-and do-doze off during the day without any med encouragement.

To sleep through sirens and explosions ………I want some of that…
i can’t explain it, I have 2-3 90-120 min snooze times with no meds.

  8. As you may know, I live with my daughter and her two daughtersin Jerusalem.

She just came down to tell me I splept trhrought the whole bombardment including the sirens.
Meanwhile her daughterw were terrified and secure in their bomb shelter.

I found out about the attack after I woke up and watched the videos..

  9. Col. Benny Yanay res. :

Eight including five children are murdered in a shooting attack in Jaffa, the two terrorists are Palestinian Arabs staying illegally from Hebron. Now, we must go to their homes, arrest their families, kill those who oppose, destroy their homes to the ground and move the rest of their families to Gaza

  10. TED-

Believe it, it’s happening right now. Arutz 7 says 181 ballistic missiles. no one hurt so far..
Iran has just now acted against it’s own interests just to preserve it’s present hegemony over it’s well financed terrorist groups now fighting
    Israel.

Iran hasn’t seemed to notice that the terrorists are almost on their last legs particularly Hamas, and their action was a waste of hardware and an actual opening of a WAR. Because Israel will not be just defensive here . Israel will attack with great force. It likely will lead to regime change before the Mullahs were ready to combat it.

  11. Current info on terrorist attack in Tel Aviv. One dead terrorist and looking for the second. 6 people seriously wounded and more hurt with different level of wounds. Ten or more shot by terrorists.

  12. Terrorist attack in Tel Aviv by two terrorists with automatic weapons. More than 10 wounded. On going event with maybe 2 more terrorists. Details not certain currently on Israeli TV news.

  13. Actually Iran is in the process of attacking and this time we will attack back strongly. The USA and Israel have told Iran that. The IDF spokesman has confirmed what the USA said.

US will help Israel in defense. I would hope that they would help attack Iran but the chances of this are not super high.

This is an opportunity to hit their nuclear facilities, gas facilities and IRGC and other leaders.

  14. Hello, Edgar. You said to me,

    MICHAEL-

What I mean is that you are normally sane and competent, BUT….when you go on your religious rant rolling off sheets of Torah and Gospels, there’s no stopping you then. like an endless belt on a machine.

That’s a colorful description 😀 — like combining a Kamala Harris word salad with a black hole

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1LYSfpKog4w

I must say, that trying to understand you is equally perplexing. Touché !

  15. PELONI-

YES so true, what you say. Begging Arabs to stay when they were fleeing like lemmings, and giving them the vote was even worse in it’s way than Oslo, Obscene as THAT was.

Oslo will soon be just the garbage of history and dumped in a deserved cess pit, but BGs giving the Arabs full citizenship with the franchise will always be with us- a never ending 5th column.

  16. @Michael

Maybe the Republic will be awake enough, this time around,

I hope so. There is a great deal riding on this being the case, and not just for those voting in the US.

  17. @Raphael
We are having a technical issue with the News Letter, and we are attempting to resolve the matter currently. I had hoped that it would be resolved today, but it seems that we will have to wait til tomorrow and hopefully things will be back to normal.

As to The Name Deception, here is the link:
    https://www.israpundit.org/the-name-deception/

If you are trying to find any of the other titles, you can scroll down to the bottom of the page and hit next to go back in the timeline, or you can use the Customized Search box in the Right Column towards the top to search for the title directly.

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

  18. @Edgar
Every word you wrote is too true. BG was a master manipulator, and seemed to excel at the art of swindling when he wasn’t ordering the murder of Jews in Etzel. He cost Israel a great deal with the betrayal of the Altalena and cause a huge political scuffle in France for their role in Operation Bid, of which the Altalena was to be just the first of 4 such ships laden with arms, munitions, and a 1000 trained Jews from the DP camps. He was a control freak extraodinaire, even as he had a vision and passion, though his vision and passion led to the great betrayal of all when he exteneded voting rights to the Arabs in what was to be the Jewish state. Also, he lacked any aptitude with which to deal efficiently with the Americans, and that came to cost the state a great deal in later years.

I also agree with you about Wiezmann, though he was too addicted to dealing directly with the national leaders which was the same trap that BG found himself commonly ensnared. It is a great pity that Jabotinsky or a man of his caliber was not present to show both the swindler and the statesman, ie BG and Weizmann, the way to win support from a democratic nation is by addressing the people directly, and not exclusively their leaders. Bibi learned that lesson well, and he excels at implementing it.

  19. PELONI-

Just what I’ve alwats posted over and over against the most vicious malice.”I’ve posted that the PM is Israels only world Statesman , Chaim Weizmannwas another but basically before Israel was founded and then Ben Gurionpulled a quick swindle whilst Weizmannwas pleading with Truman Filched the PM job which weizmann deserved far more than anyone else.

BG would have delayed declaring for another 6 weeks but W cabled to declare immediately.'”It’s now or never” famous words lost in history.

Weizmann’s character and mental strength showed all through pre-war Zionism, far more ythan any…..!!

  20. MICHAEL-

What I mean is that you are normally sane and competent, BUT….when you go on your religious rant rolling off sheets of Torah and Gospels, there’s no stopping you then. like an endless belt on a machine.

  21. I received a daily Israpundit post on 09/29/24, and I cannot open any of the stories. The lead story was, “The Name Deception”. Is anyone else having trouble with that post, or is it just me? Also, I have not received an Israpundit post since then, which is a bit unusual.

  22. Hi, Edgar

If my piety is extreme, the world is in deep spiritual trouble. Good to have you back, even if you didn’t go away. 🙂

    Peloni,

This is “October Surprise” month, in the US election cycle. The Dems will no doubt try to drum up a war or pandemic, as is their wont; but maybe President Trump will provide the action:

Trump releases documentation of ‘Election Fraud in 2020 President Election Swing States’

by WorldTribune Staff, January 3, 2024

“Former President Donald Trump said in a statement announcing the release of the document: “I am pleased to share a Report that is fully verified, most of the information was gotten from Government Sources, Tapes, and other Public Records, and compiled by the most highly qualified Election Experts in the Country. These numbers are determinative and, in all cases, are hundreds of thousands of Votes per Swing State more than I needed to WIN that State. If the Republican Senate does not step forward and address this ATROCITY, it will happen again, and be virtually impossible for Republicans to WIN ELECTIONS in the future.”

Maybe the Republic will be awake enough, this time around, to take notice of these matters before we’re all sold at auction by the traitorous Supremes again.

  23. Thanks Michael.
As it turned out I didn’t really get the time to be gone as Ted Attended to it right away. I was sorry to say goodbye, but I always mean what I seriously say.

Our tussles come into a slanging category which don’t count. Me expressing my opinion of your extreme piety.

  24. Welcome back, Edgar.

In other news, Donald Trump keeps on picking up centrist endorsements. I put more stock in these, than I do in the polls:

    David Ng29 Sep 2024
    1:45

Actor Zachary Levi — who starred in the Shazam! movies — has endorsed former President Donald Trump, saying he believes Trump is the candidate who can successfully “take back this country.”

Zachary Levi moderated a panel of Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard at a “Reclaim America” tour stop on Saturday in Dearborn, Michigan. The actor said he had endorsed RFK, Jr. earlier in the election cycle because the candidate embodied his own distrust of government and unscrupulous corporations.

“I stand with Bobby and I stand with everyone else who is standing with President Trump,” he said.

  25. Thanks Ted.

i didn’t recall the results of the last election.Bennett, yes of course. I’ve been counting him in my poll add-ups. BUT…he is such a liar and turncoat, can he be trusted. The foolishness of people who give him 43% over the PM.

Of course polls, shmolls……..11 And he was such a rotten PM when he had his chance, although a great asset to Lebanon. The chair is far too big for his backside.

  26. Today, Sa’ar has 4 members of his party. When added to the 64 that Bibi commands, we get a total of 68.

    The reconciliation is very important.
In the next election, there will be no New Hope, just Likud.
    I am good with that.
Now Bibi has to seek out Bennett to return to Likud. Bennett used to be his Chief of Staff. He is more right wing than Bibi.

  27. TED_

I am logged in -as my complaint in Chit-Chat shows. And I didn’t say I had a comment trashed or otherwise. I said I was blocked from getting to the subject we were discussing.

I found that when I keyed on The heading in the daily list of what’s being discussed, “The US wants Israel dead” etc, Your remark about Francisco Gil-White…. as usual to get to it, I scrolled down past all the books and etc until I got to the last one-by BenZimra.

Instead of then seeing the heading of our article and our posts, it refused to move further. Stuck there as it still is. even rebooted but NG.

Correction; just tried it now and it has been released, so your search must have corrected the jam.

I’m glad because I feel as if we’re all connected and was sorry to say “goodbye” . But I never say anything seriously that I don’t mean.

I’ll have to let my query drop as I see you will not answer it.

  28. TED-

I’m not going to be the proverbial hamster inside the “exercise” wheel like the other Members.

I ‘m highly offended at my cavalier treatment, and insist on being unblocked. Otherwise L’hitraot and Shana Tova to all.

  29. The IDF confirmed on Sunday that during an extensive, intelligence-based aerial operation, dozens of IAF aircraft—including fighter jets, mid-air refueling aircraft, and intelligence aircraft struck military targets belonging to the Houthi terrorist rebels in the Ras Isa and Hudaydah areas of Yemen.

The targets included power plants and a seaport used to import oil, which was “used by the Houthi terrorist regime to transfer Iranian weapons to the region, in addition to military supplies and oil,” the IDF stated.

  30. TED-
Someone (?) is blocking me from responding to you. This is “NOT cricket”. as played by gentlemen……!!!!

AM I asking the unanswerable question????

I’ll wait gladly as I always have understood that tou cannot reveal info on untrasensitive matters……BUT, play “fair”. That’s all I ask.

  31. For whoever’s intereested, I’ve got a little over an hour of video with Avi Lipkin. He did aliyah around the time of the 1967 war, and had been in Yesh all during the past year. The video was recorded a few days ago, before Nasrallah got taken out. He’s talking with mostly American Christians, explaining the situation there as he goes. I enjoyed it.

    https://youtu.be/Mc2HUBUlHH8

  32. This post highlights a critical stance for Israel with the “Three Nos.” The refusal to accept a nuclear Iran, a two-state solution, or a bi-national state reflects serious concerns about security and national identity. Forums like PRP Dubai are essential for fostering dialogue around these pressing issues. It’ll be interesting to see how these discussions influence future policies!

  33. Hebrew news had the IDF spokesman on a few minutes ago. No official death yet. IDF leveled accurately 3 huge residential buildings that were cover for the underground Hezbollah bunker (Main Headquarters in Southern Beirut suburb of Dahiyah).

They believe the information that Nasarallah was there was accurate. If correct he is buried under tons of debris both from the buildings and destroyed bunkers.

It will be a while until anyone dead or in the unlikely event alive is brought to the surface. The IDF spokesman said he will inform everyone when there is any significant news.

  34. The UK has joined the US, France and a host of allies in calling for an immediate temporary ceasefire in Lebanon, warning the escalating violence between Israel and Hezbollah is “intolerable”.

In a joint statement, the 12-strong bloc calls for a 21-day ceasefire “to provide space for diplomacy towards the conclusion of a diplomatic settlement”, as well as a ceasefire in Gaza.
