Tonight, Jew-haters are planning to protest outside Park East Synagogue – the same community they terrorized last November. We’re calling on NYPD to enforce the law and ensure that New Yorkers can enter their house of worship without fear.

  2. “Yes what the British did with the white paper was not just not letting Jews into Israel, it was intentional population engineering and also very much aiding and encouraging genocide. They let Jews in just enough to help build infrastructure and create jobs and healthcare and a better life, and then didn’t allow the Jews who would have needed it most (those escaping Nazi genocide) to use it.

And then it was the Arab birthrate that grew exponentially not just because of the modern healthcare they now had access to, but also a huge influx of migrants from other parts of the Arab world (nearly half a million, literally doubling the population by immigration alone, without factoring in the modern medicine related decrease in infant mortality).

To be clear, no other country in the Arab world had such a dramatic growth in population in such a short amount of time. And it was the British who manned all the borders. According to the white paper a Jew from Egypt would not be allowed in, but Muslims from Egypt were allowed in in the hundreds of thousands.

And of course on top of that, they knew that Hitler wanted the Jews out at any cost, and they also knew that America and England and the Western countries and certainly third world countries had already refused the Jews entry certainly in such great numbers, and they could have known based on Hitler’s own statements that he was not shy about the prospect of genocide, especially if the Jews cannot be sent anywhere else.

Interestingly I think that Iranian and American oil actually would have been enough to keep the British Empire afloat so they didn’t truly need the Arabs aside from the Suez Canal which they held with an iron fist militarily anyway, so as I’ve been saying here, it was inevitably because of a more spiritual kinship between the British Empire and the former Arab Empire, coupled with a genuine distaste for Jews which caused them to do this. And in doing so they not only artificially manipulated the Arab population to grow here so that it would be a significant majority, they also enabled the great genocide of our people who btw the Zionist movement was depending on for the building of a future state (another few million Jews here would have obviously changed everything)” —Solomon Chriqui

    NEWS

    May 04, 2026
“Artsworld sources are reporting that Sothebys have been given the go-ahead to sell two Marc Chagall murals at the Metropolitan Operas, under certain conditions.

The murals, commissioned for the new Met building in 1966, are valued by Sotheby’s at $55 million.

The sale has not yet been flagged on the Sotheby’s website, where 12 other Chagall works are presently up for auction. The conditions are incontrovertible.

Any prospective buyer will be required to agree to leave the paintings in place during the opera season. A plaque beside them would declare the donation.”

My comment: What’s the matter, too Jewish for the opera company that put on the antisemitic opera, “The Death of Klinghofer,” and has announced plans to have summer seasons in Saudi Arabia?

  6. When will the Dept. of Justice investigate The New School for Civil Rights Violations and strip it of
federal funding, accreditation and non-profit status.? The student government voted? Now, isn’t that an oxymoron, “Student government”. Students are just
there to learn! And professors/instructors/teachers who inject their politics into the classroom don’t belong there!

    https://nypost.com/2026/05/02/us-news/new-school-strips-funding-for-hillel-chapter-alleging-ties-to-international-law-violations/

    • NYC’s The New School has rejected its student senate’s vote to defund and cut collaboration with Hillel, stating the student government does not have the authority to determine a registered student organization’s recognition, funding eligibility, or official status.

The vote attempted to declare Hillel “not in good standing” and bar the Jewish campus organization from student government funding, co-sponsorship, events, and logistical support. The administration said Hillel remains in good standing, eligible for funding, and will continue supporting Jewish life at The New School.

Hillel International CEO Adam Lehman condemned the move, noting that The New School once sheltered Jewish intellectuals fleeing Nazi persecution, yet its student senate voted to punish Hillel unless it severed ties with the world’s largest Jewish student organization.

The hypocrisy is glaring. The same campus activists who invoke “free speech” to shield open support for Hamas, a U.S.-designated terrorist organization, are now trying to use student government procedure to defund Jewish campus life.

The university was right to reject it. The fact that it passed student government at all is the scandal.

  7. [Clearly old news but it explains so much]

“The grain of discord is not in the grain.

Why is Ukraine really angry at Israel?
Lately, the headlines have been making news: Russia has become the main supplier of grain to Israel, providing almost 90% of its imports. Against this background, Kyiv expresses sharp discontent, accusing Jerusalem of purchasing “gray” grain from Crimea.
But if you dig deeper, it becomes clear: the grain is just the tip of the iceberg and a convenient occasion. A much more cynical and extensive geopolitical strategy is at stake.

    ? Grain Facts
Israel is a small country, and 90% of wheat is bought from abroad. Russia dominates here: more than 1.6 million tons have already been delivered for the 2024-2025 season.
    To compare:
    Largest importers of Russian grain:
    • Egypt: Traditional procurement leader. The volume of imports of Russian wheat in 2024 reached a record 11.1 million tons. During the first two months of the current season (July-August 2024), the country imported another 1.2 million tons.
    • Turkey: Buys mainly wheat for further processing into flour. In 2024 the volume of procurement amounted to 7.2 million tons.
    • Iran: One of the key partners in purchasing wheat, barley and corn. Volume for 2024 – 5.6 million tons.
    • Saudi Arabia: The main importer of Russian barley with a total grain purchase volume of 4.6 million tons.
    • Bangladesh: Stably among the top 5 largest customers with a volume of 3.9 million tons.
    Growing and emerging markets
    • China: Confidently included the top 5 importers. In 2024 the supplies of sparrow wheat doubled, and the imports of Russian oat China ranked first.
    • Indonesia and India: These countries have significantly increased grain purchases from Russia in recent years.
    • African countries: In addition to Egypt, the biggest buyers are Libya, Kenya, Algeria, Morocco and Nigeria. Supply to Ethiopia and Djibouti also resumed.
But Kiev has no claims to them.
    Why so ?
Because it’s not about quantity, it’s about status. Ukraine is accusing Israel of accepting courts from closed ports of Crimea. For Kiev, this is not just a trade, but a legal cue that allows to put pressure on Israel in the international field.

And it’s not about the grain at all.

? The “Iron Dome” as a symbol of provocation
Many remember how Ukraine insisted on asking Israel for the Iron Dome air defense system. But experts know that it is ineffective against Russian missiles – it is designed to intercept Hamas’s artificial shells.
    What was asked for then?
The real goal was not in the protection of the sky, but in Moscow’s reaction. Transferring any Israeli military technology to Ukraine is a “red line” for the Kremlin. Kyiv hoped that this move would blow up relations between Russia and Israel.

    ? Second Front Strategy
The main version, which is not mentioned in diplomatic offices, sounds harsh: Ukraine needs Israel to become a “beating boy”.

    The logic is simple:
    • Distraction of resources: If Israel begins to help Ukraine with weapons, Russia in return may begin to obstruct the Israeli Air Force in Syria or arm Hezbollah.
    • Second front: The emergence of conflict between Russia and Israel in the Middle East would force Moscow to withdraw resources (aircraft, aviation, money) from the Ukrainian front.
    • Globalization of the conflict: Including Israel (the US’s top ally) would ultimately translate the war into a global confrontation of “Good vs Evil”, removing any questions about the allocation of new billions in aid in Washington.

?? Why does Israel keep its defense?
Jerusalem understands perfectly well that they want to use it as a lightning outlet. Israel’s neutrality is not sympathy towards anyone, but a matter of survival. The loss of coordination with the Russian Federation in Syria means a direct threat to the security of its own borders.
When it became known recently that Israel supplied air defense components to Gulf countries, but refused to Ukraine, Kyiv became furious. The argument “we do not supply weapons to conflict zones” has stopped working. And then ships with grain came on stage again.

Grain for Ukraine is the perfect “moral blackmail”. It is hard to demand from Israel to fight with the Russians in Syria for Kiev. But it’s very easy to accuse him of buying “stolen” bread to put him as “accompanion” and continue to pressurize, trying to knock out any military aid.

? The real goal: Rocking under fire
In this big game, it’s time to stop looking at the number of tons of grain or the number of airborne batteries.

Let’s get the main thing down:
Ukraine does not need weapons from Israel. Kiev needs consequences.

Over the last four years, Ukrainian diplomacy has pursued one, quite cynical goal: to drag Israel into conflict at any cost. The calculation is not based on whether the Iron Dome will save Kyiv but on the fact that the very fact of its transfer will put Israel under a direct retaliation of Russia.

The logic of Kiev is simple and ruthless:
    • To provoke a divide between Moscow and Jerusalem.
    • To force Russia to switch aggression, resources and attention to the Israeli direction (in the same Syria).
    • To make Israel, essentially, replace Ukraine, becoming a new “center of pain” for the Russian military machine.

Cereal scandals and accusations of “lack of morality” are just a smoke screen. Behind it is an attempt to turn Israel from a cautious neutral player into an active target that will cover the interests of Kiev with its body. Israel understands this and persistently resists the role of the “beating boy”, which has been so persistently imposed on it for the fourth year.”

    • What would American police have done with someone sporting german or japanese flags together with the American flag on a cap in 1942?

      AI Overview

      +6
In 1942, shortly after the attack on Pearl Harbor, sporting German or Japanese flags alongside an American flag on a cap would have been seen as a provocative act of treason, espionage, or extreme disloyalty. Police would have taken swift action, ranging from forced removal of the items to immediate arrest.
Origins: Current Events in Historical Perspective
Origins: Current Events in Historical Perspective
Here is what likely would have happened in 1942:
Immediate Arrest and Detention: Due to high wartime hysteria and the enforcement of the Alien Enemies Act (50 USC Ch. 3), the individual would likely have been arrested by local police or the FBI on suspicion of espionage, sabotaging war morale, or being an enemy agent.
Forced Removal of Imagery: Police or angry bystanders would have immediately seized or destroyed the Nazi swastika and Japanese “Rising Sun” flags.
Investigation into Loyalties: If the person was a German or Japanese citizen (alien enemy), they would likely face internment. If they were an American citizen, they would still face interrogation and potential incarceration for promoting the enemy.
Public Fury and Violence: In 1942, such a public display would likely incite immediate violent backlash from bystanders or civilians, leading to the person being attacked before police even arrived.

      Contextual Factors for 1942:
The “Enemy Alien” Program: The FBI and local police were actively rounding up German, Italian, and Japanese residents deemed “potentially dangerous”.
1942 Flag Code: Congress formally adopted the U.S. Flag Code in June 1942 (Public Law 77-623), which dictated proper usage and prohibited showing disrespect to the American flag.
Executive Order 9066: Signed in February 1942, this allowed for the mass forced removal and incarceration of people of Japanese descent, regardless of citizenship.

Wearing these items together would have been viewed as a direct insult to the United States and a violation of the extreme security measures in place at the time.

  8. “We strongly DO NOT recommend Ellie Midwood’s book: “The Violinist of Auschwitz: Based on a true story…” as a reliable source of information about the history of Auschwitz camp.

This novel intertwines authentic elements with sensational and entirely fictional episodes, creating a concoction that could never have taken place in Auschwitz. The depiction of camp reality and the daily lives of prisoners is unbelievably distorted, romanticized, and often diametrically opposed to historical realities.

Furthermore, it falsely portrays both the SS guards and certain prisoner groups, with the most glaring offense being the description of German kapos and criminal prisoners as the architects and key participants in the camp resistance movement.

Reading this book not only fails to enhance one’s knowledge about the history of the German Nazi camp but also constructs a fabricated and deceitful image of what Auschwitz truly was, its appearance, its functioning, and the dynamics that prevailed within its walls.

For those who are interested in learning about the history of camp orchestras, we recommend the following publications:

    – Szymon Laks: “Music of Another World”
    – Helena Dunicz-Niwi?ska: “One of the Girls in my Band. The Memoirs of a Violinist from Birkenau”
    – Rachel Olewski (Zelmanowicz): “Crying is Forbidden Here! A Jewish Girl in pre-WWII Poland, the Women’s Orchestra in Auschwitz, and Liberation in Bergen-Belsen”

    – Ken Schuldman: “Jazz Survivor: The Story of Louis Bannet, Horn Player of Auschwitz”
    – Richard Newman: “Alma Rose: Vienna to Auschwitz”

These publications provide more accurate and authentic accounts of the experiences related to camp orchestras and their role during those tragic times.

    • Herzog is going to try and negotiate a pardon following the next election. This is an interesting move. Probably, the best timing. If Bibi does not win election, it might be easier for him to accept a deal in which he agrees no more political office and he gets no jail time.

Herzog showed he was President of Israel and not Trump by the way. Trump really went too far.

  9. Israel banned Al Jazeera. It’s targeted operatives who carried press credentials while working for terrorist organizations. The Israeli government has made clear it knows how to act when a media outlet is serving its enemies.

So why is Haaretz still publishing?

The paper’s own publisher stood at a podium in London and called Hamas freedom fighters. He called for international sanctions against his own country. A police complaint was filed. Four ministries cut ties. And then nothing happened. No investigation. No charges. The paper kept going.

Haaretz reaches less than 5% of Israelis. It’s not shaping Israeli public opinion. What it’s doing is giving foreign governments, international institutions, and anti-Israel advocacy organizations a source they can cite that carries the credibility of “an Israeli newspaper.” When neo-Nazi websites cite a publication more than 1,400 times, that’s not a coincidence. That’s a paper that’s made itself useful to people who want Israel gone.

I went deep on this one. The ownership trail, the Nazi-era publishing partner the Schocken family took money from in 2006, the columnists, the editorial philosophy, and the question nobody in the Israeli government seems willing to answer.

  10. “Rock attack near Havat Gilad in Samaria leaves five-year-old boy with light injuries.

A five-year-old Israeli boy was injured Thursday morning after a terrorist hurled rocks at a vehicle traveling on Route 60 in Samaria, between the Gilad Junction and the Yitzhar Haktana Junction.

The attack occurred as the vehicle passed near Havat Gilad, when a terrorist lying in wait on the side of the road threw rocks at the car. One of the stones struck the vehicle’s window with force, shattering it and striking the child squarely in the shoulder.

Magen David Adom (MDA) medical teams that were called to the scene provided the boy with initial medical treatment. Fortunately, the injury was classified as light, and the child – who suffered injuries to his shoulder and arm – did not require evacuation to a hospital.

IDF forces that arrived at the scene began conducting searches in nearby villages in an effort to locate the assailant. A closure was imposed on the village of Madama” Arutz Sheva today

My comment: Closure? Evacuate them to Areas A and B. Under the terms of the Oslo Accords, Israel retains control Area C. Jews are not allowed in Areas A and B. Arabs should not be allowed in Area C.

  11. READ ?: In a powerful demonstration of “Legislative Synergy,” Senate Republicans have moved to block efforts to derail President Trump’s latest $18.5 billion Foreign Military Sale (FMS) to Israel. The Senate’s decisive backing this April ensures the “Industrial Warp Speed” delivery of 50 Boeing F-15IA fighters and a “Full-Stack” suite of precision-guided munitions, reinforcing Israel’s “Sovereign Shield” as regional tensions reach a 2026 high-water mark.

The defeat of a joint resolution of disapproval marks a pivotal moment for the “Pacific-to-Persian” strategy, signaling a transition from “Selective Support” to “Unconditional Force Posture.” Senate leadership emphasized that the sale provides the “Digital Backbone” required for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) to maintain its qualitative military edge (QME) while securing the “Zero Line” of Western interests in the Middle East.

The approved sale focuses on the “Next-Gen” modernization of the Israeli Air Force, ensuring it can penetrate the increasingly sophisticated “A2/AD” (Anti-Access/Area Denial) bubbles in the region. ?

? F-15IA Dominance: The center-piece of the deal includes 50 F-15IA multi-role fighters. These “Flying Digital Hubs” are equipped with the latest “Silicon-Sensed” radars and electronic warfare suites, providing a massive “Kinetic Multiplier” for long-range strike missions.

? Precision Munitions Surge: The package authorizes thousands of Joint Direct Attack Munitions (JDAMs) and Small Diameter Bombs (SDBs). This “High-Volume” inventory is intended to prevent “Hardware Attrition” during multi-front engagements.

? Engine Upgrades: The sale includes F110-GE-129 engines for the new fleet, ensuring “High-Mass” reliability and performance during 24/7 “Active Deterrence” operations.

The $18.5 billion investment is designed to build “National Security Endurance” through total technological and political alignment between Washington and Jerusalem. ?

? Countering the Gray Zone: By reinforcing Israel’s air superiority, the U.S. is creating an “Iron Ceiling” against the proliferation of hypersonic and cruise missile threats. This ensures that “Digital Resilience” in the region remains anchored by American hardware.

? Industrial Synergy: Primary contractors Boeing and Lockheed Martin are set to lead the “Industrial Warp Speed” production, supporting thousands of U.S. manufacturing jobs while strengthening the trans-Atlantic defense industrial base.

? Interoperability Standard: The move standardizes IDF command and control on the latest U.S. architecture, easing the burden of training and maintenance while ensuring “Zero-Latency” intelligence sharing between the two allies.

Senate Republicans emphasized that the sale is a “Sovereign Shield” for an ally facing a period of “High-Mass” naval and aerial activity across the Mediterranean and Red Seas. ?

? Responding to Attrition: The move follows recent regional escalations where the need for “High-Tier” strike capacity has become an “Iron Reality” for modern air forces. Republicans argued that denying the sale would create a “Capability Trough” that adversaries would immediately exploit.

? The ‘No-Conditions’ Doctrine: Leading GOP senators stressed that the Trump administration’s “Active Coercion” strategy relies on a credible, fully-equipped Israel to act as a regional “Security Node.” This approach rejects the “Silicon Olive Branch” of conditional aid in favor of “Maximum Pressure.”

? Global Trade Security: With Israel securing its “Digital Resilience,” the move stabilizes the Eastern Mediterranean, securing critical maritime trade routes and the “Zero Line” of global energy logistics.

The Senate’s endorsement of the $18.5 billion military sale is the definitive signal that the U.S.-Israel partnership has mastered the transition to “High-Tier” maritime and aerial defense. By securing these advanced “Digital Hub” systems this April, Washington has proved that “Industrial Warp Speed” modernization and “Unwavering Deterrence” are the dual keys to future stability. In the high-stakes landscape of 2026, the winner is the one with the most connected and capable sensors and with this deal, the U.S. and Israel just secured a front-row seat.

  12. Avi Abelow: The strategy is confusion

We are living through one of the most confusing, contradictory, and yet profoundly strategic moments in Israel’s modern history.

On the one hand, reports are emerging from the White House about concrete plans to strike what remains of Iran’s naval infrastructure, assets that have been choking the Strait of Hormuz and threatening global stability.

At the same time, Israel’s Defense Minister, Israel Katz, has openly declared that Israel is prepared to renew the war against the Islamic Republic of Iran, this time with a far more destructive plan. A plan that echoes what Donald Trump himself said just weeks ago: that Iran’s regime risks seeing its jihadist civilization destroyed if it continues down this path. (If only that was truly possible, as jihadi Islam is a 1,400+ year danger to every non-Muslim).

Add to that the unmistakable reality: massive American air force cargo planes landing in Israel, delivering weapons and munitions in quantities and at an extremely quick pace. That is not diplomacy. That is preparation.

And yet, at the very same time, President Trump says he has “all the time in the world” to make a deal with Iran, as the U.S. blockade on the straits of Iran threatens the economy of the Islamic republic of Iran. He extends a ceasefire in Lebanon. He signals patience, restraint, negotiation.

    So which is it?
War, or deal? Escalation, or delay? Decisive action, or strategic pause?

    The answer is: both.

Because this is what real leadership looks like in wartime, not the shallow, headline-driven press conferences from the government that announce to the enemy what is planned, but a multi-layered strategy designed to keep enemies off-balance and allies guessing just enough to maintain flexibility.

Take Lebanon. On the surface, extending a ceasefire seems like restraint. But in reality, it may be something far more calculated: removing one front from the equation in order to focus on the real head of the snake, Iran.

And even within that ceasefire, the rules are clear. Hezbollah continues to fire at Israel. And Trump has made it explicit: Israel retains full rights to defend itself. Meaning, this is not a surrender of initiative. It is controlled containment.

Everything we are seeing points to one conclusion: Prime Minister Netanyahu and President Trump are running this war with a level of strategic ambiguity that keeps the enemy disoriented. They don’t know what’s coming next. They don’t know when it’s coming. And they don’t know how far it will go.

That is exactly how it should be.

But here is where we must be very careful.

As Jews, as Israelis, as a nation that has returned home after 2,000 years of continued exile and persecution, we cannot fall into the trap of placing our ultimate trust in human leaders, even the best ones.

Yes, we can recognize strong leadership. Yes, we can appreciate strategy that protects Jewish lives and advances Jewish sovereignty. But we must never forget: every human leader is limited. Every one is flawed. Every one is operating within constraints we may not even see.

Our strength has never come from Washington. Our strength has never come from Jerusalem’s political class. Our strength has always come from something far deeper.

From our connection to God. From our clarity of purpose. From our willingness to do what is necessary to survive, and to fulfill our mission in this world.

So yes, we hope and pray that this time, the job is finished. That the evil jihadi Shiite Islamic regime in Iran is removed. That the threat from the Sunnni jihadis of Hezbollah, Hamas, and every other jihadist force within our borders is eliminated once and for all, with the whole jihadi population removed.

    But even if it isn’t…

    Something irreversible has already happened.

The Jewish people in Israel have woken up.
We have seen what happens when we rely on illusions. We have seen the cost of hesitation. We have seen the price of outsourcing our security to failed concepts and false partners.
And we are not going back.

The confusion at the top? That may very well be the strategy.

But the clarity and strengthening emunah/belief in God among the Jewish people in Israel today, that is the real story. That is our real strength, together with our military might.

It is time for us to return to doing what we know is right. To stand strong. To demand truth. To act with courage. To call out for the eradication of the jihadi evil near us and within us.

And above all, to place our trust where it has always belonged, in God.

    Am Yisrael Chai!!!

The Full Faith and Credit Clause, found in Article IV, Section 1 of the United States Constitution, mandates that each state must recognize and honor the public acts, records, and judicial proceedings of every other state. This clause ensures that legal decisions, such as court judgments, marriage licenses, and contracts, are valid across state lines, fostering unity and preventing the relitigation of cases. “

  16. I think what Trump (and Bibi) have proved in Iran is that a massive, devastating, air attack campaign is not enough to bring about regime change. I could have told them that.

  17. I noticed today in IHY that Qatar and the UN are already rebuilding all across Gaza, before any disarmament has taken place. What the heck is going on? Doesn’t Israel control what is going on in Gaza? Gaza should be on lock-down until Hamas disarms. If not, Israel has already lost.

  18. The video of Erdogan threatening that an attack on Iran or Lebanon would be viewed as an attack on Turkey was found to be from July 2024. So I removed the post. Accept my apologies for posting it.

  19. Victor Orban concedes defeat in landslide loss. Israel loses its greatest ally in Europe and Europe loses its greatest leader in a generation or more. Devastating news!

  20. “Germany bans pro-Palestinian vigil at Buchenwald memorial

“As Jewish, queer and other anti-fascists, many of us the children and grandchildren of survivors of and those persecuted and murdered in the Nazi genocide, we wholeheartedly reject the German state dictating conditions around commemoration,” [Rachel] Shapiro said in a statement.”

  21. So, will American sailors get shore leave? I can’t wait for the musical.

“On the Town (1949) is a classic MGM musical film directed by Gene Kelly and Stanley Donen, starring Kelly, Frank Sinatra, Betty Garrett, and Ann Miller, about three sailors on 24-hour shore leave in New York City. Known for its innovative location shooting in NYC, vibrant choreography, and iconic songs like “New York, New York,” it won an Oscar for Best Musical Score and is celebrated for its energetic blend of romance, adventure, and friendship.
    Key aspects
Plot: Three sailors—Gabey (Kelly), Chip (Sinatra), and Ozzie (Jules Munshin)—have one day in New York and each tries to find love, with Gabey searching for “Miss Turnstiles” (Vera-Ellen).
Direction & Choreography: A directorial debut for both Kelly and Donen, it was groundbreaking for shooting on location in New York City, including the Brooklyn Bridge and Columbus Circle, rather than just on a soundstage.
Music: Features music by Leonard Bernstein and lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green, adapted from their Broadway show.
Cast: Stars Gene Kelly, Frank Sinatra, Betty Garrett, Ann Miller, Jules Munshin, and Vera-Ellen.

  22. AI Overview +5 Yes, Hakeem Jeffries, the U.S. House Minority Leader, is the nephew of Leonard Jeffries, a former Black studies professor at the City College of New York who became a deeply controversial figure in the early 1990s due to his promotion of Afrocentrism and his widely condemned antisemitic remarks. Here are key details regarding the connection and related controversy:The Relation: Leonard Jeffries is the uncle of both Hakeem Jeffries and his brother, Hasan Kwame Jeffries, a history professor at Ohio State University.Controversy and Defense: In the early 1990s, Leonard Jeffries was heavily criticized—and eventually lost his departmental chair—for speeches alleging that Jews financed the slave trade and controlled Hollywood.Resurfaced College Editorial: In 2023, it was reported that a young Hakeem Jeffries (then in college in the early 1990s) wrote a column defending his uncle, arguing that he was facing a “media lynching”.Response: In a 2013 interview with the Wall Street Journal, Representative Jeffries stated he had only a “vague recollection” of his uncle’s controversies. Later, following the resurfacing of the editorial, his office stated that he does not share the views his uncle expressed over 30 years ago, highlighting that he has built a strong record with the Jewish community in Congress.Ongoing Ties: Despite the controversy, Leonard Jeffries was present at his nephew’s congressional swearing-in ceremony in 2013.

  23. It is so ironic that after months and months of Tucker Carlson spouting fake news smothered in antisemitism that Sundance from The Last Refuge has finally figured out that Carlson is an untrustworthy and villainous news source. Of course, it is only because Carlson has finally turned his targets onto a coveted group with which Sundance has a fond connection, or otherwise he would still be accepting the rank abuse passing thru Carlson’s lips as relevant and news worthy as it was just the Jews and misguided Christians who support the Jews who were being targeted.

Ironically enough, he just posted something indicating that Carlson is trying to split MAGA. Again, since it is no longer the Jews and their supporters alone that the Iran loving Carlson is now targeting, it seems Sundance has gained the wisdom to recognize the barn fire burning in his back yard.

Antisemitism is a blinding poison which keeps many people comfortable and docile as the Jews alone are targeted, only to later find the truth behind the phrase of the Jews being the canary in the coal mine. It has been very disappointing to see so many leaders in America fall prey to the Islamists-Marxist coalition, and this has been taking place on both the Republican and Democratic corners…but largely with the talking heads and erstwhile conservative columnists on the Right. The fact that the Republican base has been somewhat resistant to the parsing leadership of Carlson, among others, and including Sundance, has been a source of encouragement over these past few years.

So, it is good to see that Sundance has finally given in to discarding Carlson’s invectives as wisdom, at least so far as Christians are concerned it would appear.

  24. Israel will not end its attacks in Lebanon. Instead, the following comment was made to Axios:

“No ceasefire in Lebanon. The negotiations with the Lebanese government will begin in the coming days”

  25. Lebanese PM:

“We will immediately begin strengthening state control in the Beirut governorate, and weapons will be held solely by the state across the governorate. Anyone who violates this will be prosecuted according to the law. We are filing a complaint against Israel at the UN Security Council over yesterday’s Israeli attack.”

More talk from the feckless Lebanese govt to help protect Hezbollah from further destruction. It won’t work this time.

  26. I got a notification that President Trump is about to participate in the Easter egg roll. As my father used to say all the time, proudly, “Clever these Chinese.”

  27. “AI Overview +16 Logical fallacies are errors in reasoning that undermine the logic of an argument, often appearing psychologically persuasive while being invalid. Common fallacies include ad hominem (personal attacks), straw man (misrepresenting arguments), and false dilemma (limiting options). Identifying these flaws is crucial for sound critical thinking and effective debate.Top 20 Common Logical FallaciesHere is a list of common logical fallacies:Ad Hominem: Attacking the person’s character instead of their argument.Appeal to Authority: Claiming something is true because an unqualified “expert” says it is.Appeal to Emotion: Manipulating emotions (pity, fear) to win an argument rather than using evidence.Appeal to Nature: Arguing that because something is “natural” it is therefore valid or good.Appeal to Tradition: Claiming something is correct because it has always been done that way.Bandwagon Appeal (Ad Populum): Arguing that a claim is true because many people believe it.Begging the Question (Circular Reasoning): An argument that assumes the conclusion in the premise.Burden of Proof: Arguing that the onus is on the opponent to disprove a claim, rather than on the speaker to prove it.Circular Reasoning: A type of reasoning where the proposition is supported by the premises, which is supported by the proposition.False Cause (Post Hoc Ergo Propter Hoc): Assuming that because ‘A’ occurred after ‘B’, ‘B’ must have caused ‘A’.False Dilemma/Dichotomy: Presenting two options as the only possibilities when more exist.Genetic Fallacy: Judging something based on where it comes from rather than its actual merit.Hasty Generalization: Making a broad generalization based on a sample size that is too small.Loaded Question: Asking a question that has a presumption built into it, so it cannot be answered without appearing guilty.Middle Ground: Claiming that a compromise between two positions is always correct. No True Scotsman: Redefining a term to exclude a counter-example to a universal generalization.Personal Incredulity: Arguing that because something is difficult to understand, it must be untrue.Red Herring: Diverting attention away from the main issue with an irrelevant argument.Slippery Slope: Asserting that a small first step will inevitably lead to a chain of related, negative events.Straw Man: Misrepresenting, exaggerating, or fabricating an opponent’s argument to make it easier to attack.Tu Quoque (“You Too”): Avoiding criticism by turning it back on the accuser (answering1 criticism with criticism).Categories of FallaciesFallacies are generally divided into two main categories:Formal Fallacies: Arguments with a flaw in their logical structure (e.g., \(A=B, B=C\), therefore \(A=D\)).Informal Fallacies: Arguments whose flaws lie in their content, context, or wording rather than structure.Common Types of FallaciesFallacies of Relevance: The argument uses evidence that is irrelevant to the conclusion (e.g., Red Herring, Ad Hominem).Fallacies of Presumption: The argument relies on a false or unproven premise (e.g., False Dilemma, Begging the Question).Fallacies of Ambiguity: The argument uses unclear language or shifts the meaning of words (e.g., Equivocation).Fallacies of Defective Induction: The argument’s premises are too weak to support the conclusion (e.g., Hasty Generalization).”
