Madeline Brooks: This is beyond troubling, and therefore must not be avoided. Contraband including drones and items used in war efforts are seamlessly getting into Gaza. Some of the traffickers are Bedouin Israelis and others are Jews, including officers who take money to bring in the very things that killed their “fellow citizens” on Oct. 7 and will be used to kill more Israelis, if successful. Fortunately, Israeli officials are beginning efforts to call these traitors “terrorists” engaging in war crimes.
