For anyone who thinks this is ? too drastic –
South Lebanon has nothing to do with ancient Lebanon.
It has been North Palestine since forever until the clandestine 1916 Sykes-Picot Agreements deleted it by crayon from Palestine,
the Brit Sykes agreeing to give it to the French Picot for the anticipated Syria Mandate (which has nothing to do with ancient Assyria either).
Chaim Weizmann protested and was ignored (and again when Transjordan was deleted by crayon by Winston Churchill in 1921).
For context South Lebanon consists of the Israelite states of Naphtali and Asher, which are like totally Eretz Yisrael for purposes of Trumah, Maaser, Shviis, Leket etc.
They and all of ‘Syrian’ Golan (also part of Bashan/Menashe) along with all of the fullest extent of halachic Eretz Yisrael are all inexorably destined to be annexed to the final status Holy Land Reservation borders, sometimes referred to as ”Greater Israel’ (still a pretty small place to accommodate the entire global Jewish population plus loyal law-abiding resident aliens.
P.S. ISIS or IWB (‘Islam Without Borders’) hates the Sykes-Picot Agreement for that same reason, you know foreign Western infidels imposing restrictions upon their ‘aspirations’.
Seems fair.
Since the citizens of Lebanon support the Iranian proxy, they are complicit.
And if that means displacement, so be it.
