IM TIRZU IS GOING ALL OUT TO BUILD THE RIGHT WING BLOC

Dear Friends and Supporters of Im Tirtzu,

Last week we embarked on a campaign whose goal is to strengthen the discourse in Israel on the importance of Israel’s existence as a Jewish state. In addition, we are simultaneously undertaking widespread, intensive activities with the purpose of raising the voter turnout percentages in Israel’s periphery.

They say that each election cycle in the Jewish state is crucial. Yet, as Ecclesiastes teaches, “there is no new thing under the sun”.

Having said that, these elections are entirely different from any we have known until today.

First, because this is the first time that left-wing elements are using social media and organizations and NGOs in an intensive anti-government campaign, the size of which this country has never seen before. Using tens of millions of dollars, they have achieved an unchallenged level in the public discourse. I refer mainly to V15, which it most likely seems is in close contact with and is assisted by the campaign team which previously advised and assisted U.S. President Barack Obama.

The common citizen in Israel has been assaulted, even persecuted. (He might not be entirely aware of this, but it is the truth). V15 advertisements are being relentlessly sent to countless cellular phones. Well-executed video clips are permanently popping up on YouTube. Intensive promotion on both Facebook and on Twitter. Advertisements everywhere, on each billboard and on every fence. Paid activists who are going door to door. Text messages are sent by the thousands. Anything and everything, just to replace the current government, as if there was no tomorrow.

But from our perspective, another reason this election cycle is unique, and frankly, frightening, is that for the first time in their history, the left-wing bloc is being led by people who we do not know how important Zionism truly is to them. Buji Herzog has claimed that the term “Jewish State” is erroneous and misleading, and is leading a party where members have claimed that they are uncomfortable with “Hatikvah”, the Israeli National Anthem, and “do not connect” to the Zionist idea.

In addition, according to latest surveys, this will most likely be the first time in Israel’s history that the third-largest party in the Knesset will most likely be an Arab party, which sees itself as more “Palestinian” than Israeli, and refuses to categorically condemn the “popular resistance” against Israel.

In other words, if Buji Herzog wins these elections, the Jewish people in Zion may for the first time find themselves with a post-Zionist Prime Minister and a Palestinian head of the Opposition. This outcome will have happened in large part due to lower voter turnout among the right wing, and millions of dollars which have been funneled directly to left-wing organizations in order to help them brainwash Israel’s citizens.

In moments like these, Im Tirtzu cannot just sit back quietly. It would violate everything we have always stood for, and always will stand for.

Therefore, last week we embarked on a campaign whose goal is to strengthen the discourse in Israel on the importance of Israel’s existence as a Jewish state. In addition, we are simultaneously undertaking widespread, intensive activities with the purpose of raising the voter turnout percentages in Israel’s periphery.

Best,

  1. Am very worried about the traitors in this election who are receiving so much outside support plus the Arab vote plus the anti-Israel Jews. I can only hope that Im Tirtzu will make a huge difference. The survival of Israel could well be in the balance.
