On reading between the lines: While what I said was really true. And while what you said was certainly true. What I really, really, really wanted to hear was:

    The Okeh Laughing Record (Okeh)1922

    https://youtu.be/wAZlPNJhlO0

Spike Jones & His City Slickers – “The Jones Laughing Record” – original 78

    https://youtu.be/GRqp3O0-soc

Mad Magazine had a laugh record but I can’t find it. The one from the ’60s. There’s one from 1981 I won’t bother with but it’s there.

  2. @ yamit82:

Who knows? Remember when Assange put a reward out for the murder of a DNC staffer who may or may not have been one of his contacts? Where-ever they get their info, “Bully for them”, as Teddy Roosevelt liked to say. The only real press we have in these matters is Wikileaks.

  3. @ bernard ross:

I only meant for you to hear the first 5 min or so re: what the democrats are trying to pull off with the Russian hacking and electoral college gambit. As I said if below 270 for both candidates it goes to congress and senate and nothing would change results. Just more drama and good for TV ratings.

Putin blames Obama and Clinton for trying to undermine his election which was true and backing anti Russian opposition in Ukraine with lots of dirty games and lots of cash. I believe the stuff leaked was not hacked but leaked by NSA to screw Clinton because she probably got some of their guys offed after her server was hacked by Russia. Russian too good and to professional to be sloppy enough to leave tells and markers leading back to themselves that is the False Flag aspect and why the FBI don’t buy it was Russia. We know the Americans are Hacking the Russians and Chinese and Israelis all the time and we caught them a year or so back and it was made public just like them hacking into Merkles diary etc… everybody is hacking everybody and it’s disingenuous for the Americans to make too much of this issue as there are no clean hands or good guys in cyber-warfare especially when SOS has an unsecured server in a closet in her basement loaded with top secret and higher stuff on it and claims no harm done???? Leave your home unlocked and you can bet eventually you will be robbed or worse.

  4. Sebastien Zorn Said:

True, my hacking stopped when I quit. But I’m sad. ‘Cause now I no longer have any reason to go outside!

Life is full of trade-offs and compromises… hacking better than not. You have satisfaction weighed against discomfort and misery.

  5. @ yamit82:
not really, I agree with him some things and not on others. My two problems with him is that he rants AND he is a conservative ideologue. This means that we can always predict that he must fit his evaluations, assessments, conclusions, analysis to agreement with his consevative ideological “bible” like a socialist with his “manifesto”. I thing this causes him to contradict himself and to make faulty analyses: he is for free trade and sees china and russia as enemies… if you see them as enemies you should not trade with them at all….. also, IMO he rightly read a statistical election report but laughinly claimed a conservative election of Trump. He recognized 18% are disliking both parties and being crucial to trump election but said they were conservatives like his listeners… which I beleive is pure BS. I said from long ago that those against both parties would break for trump and that they were neither left nor right but pragmatists… the conservatives did not represent any deciding vote… it was those in the middle.
Its as boring to listen to a conservative rant as to a communist rant as to a bible thumping preacher…. I would always avoid voting for an ideologue as I beleive their thought process is defective and delusional…. confusing reality with doctrines. Levin talked a lot about what he beleived in but pragmatic solutions and analyses are not subject to beleifs.

Also, I dont like listening too long to talking heads of any stripe… they are not doers…. they also follow the money…. I prefer facts more than opinion. I will say that he did put out a number of facts which I agreed on their factuality.

  6. @ yamit82:

Couldn’t sit through more than a few minutes of his yelling about hackers. Somebody here said, properly, that it is the job of spies to hack, we do it, they do it, everybody does it. So what? If they don’t they are not doing their job. Even if the Russians had been responsible for WikiLeaks, I would say, “so what.” But, liberals would never denounce the Leaking of the Pentagon Papers. Such hypocrisy. By the way, I read that guy is working with WikiLeaks, if I recall, correctly. This is information that the public was entitled to. Information about a political gang that was and is trying to hijack our country. This makes Watergate look so trivial! So, if he explained something perhaps you would do us the courtesy of summarizing. I would be grateful.
Jones said something about new legislation to harangue young children with some political correctness. You know, the hacking business is like that. Only Leftists think that people will change their minds if you yell at them enough. That’s why campaign finance laws are bull. Ross Perot and Hillary Clinton were on the air every night. But people didn’t buy what they were selling. You have to be on the air enough for people to notice you but that’s no guarantee they will bite. Trump, Sanders, Howard Dean who paved the way but lost anyway, all proved that you can raise more money with a grass-roots campaign and you still may or may not win. The Left thinks people are stupid. The reason they have a mass base is that they rationalize that it’s only everybody else who are a herd of cows to be manipulated. “Me and my friends? We’re not stupid.” Talk about populist elitism. Or is it elitist populism? Anyway, give me Vox Populi, any day. Whewww!

  7. @ bernard ross:
Yes, I meant it is justified to be concerned that they are setting the stage for elector tampering and when that fails, assassination as Jones says. But, there is no evidence and he has said he will leave Hillary alone, so why should Trump want to dignify this charade and delay the electors doing their job. These clowns want the electors to receive an “intelligence briefing.” Of Course, I’m sure they would raise some technical objection to the FBI.
On a lighter note, if everybody is concerned with the Russian hacking (and what they are calling hacking would just be providing news coverage anyway) but I mean really concerned about their hacking, maybe President-elect Trump should quietly take President Putin aside, and say kindly, “you know, you really should stop smoking. We’re worried about you.”
On the other hand, I used to smoke, and I played with a lot of Russian musicians in various orchestras. We bonded over a cigarette when we went outside for a smoke during the break. But you know you have to give up something for everything you get. True, my hacking stopped when I quit. But I’m sad. ‘Cause now I no longer have any reason to go outside!

  8. @ bernard ross:
When it’s grey, say it’s grey. Do the Russians and Chinese want to kill us? Do the Muslims? obviously, with the first, the answer is, “not necessarily.” The liberals never want us to face the enemy. They always want to make it something else. When it really was Russia and China, they were “anti-anti-communists.” Remember? Now they are anti-islamophobia. And considering how much Progressivism is starting to look like a political church: advocates of anti-disestablishmentarianism. (Sorry, I couldn’t resist.)

  9. @ bernard ross:

Did you notice in the photograph that Rudy was on the plane? I think Trump values him as a close adviser. If he had a job job he would have his own office and be doing his own thing. I think Trump wants to pick his brains right now.

  10. @ yamit82:
true, I am hoping that Trump is seeking to bring rudy back as special prosecutor. He could use these calls for investigations to widen the net from the clintons and include the dem party bosses, soros and the media who colluded to spread “fake news” propaganda in order to sway the outcome of the election… they acted as a type of Tokyo Rose.
since they want the “russian hacking” investigated because it is alleged to be have intended to change election results then the same is true of the orchestrated fake news cabal who sought to spread propaganda, lies and slander in order to influence the outcome of elections. A criminal/espionage/sedition/saboteur investigation of the ties and intent of the collusion between the party and the MSM. Same with dem party funders like Soros, a good excuse to investigate him too.
If the dems are making all these demand now then they will be seen to be hypocrites if after trump gets in he widens the investigations they called for. He can use their own arguments to defend against the accusation that he is conductingpolitical witch hunts.

  11. Sebastien Zorn Said:

Enemies want to kill and/or enslave you. Rivals want to take your customers and be number one in the business.

Rivals often want to kill you in order to take your customers and be number 1 in the business. Rivals are usually enemies.. its a matter of what extent they will go to to win. One guy might bomb your building and another may slander you as apartheid or child killer. The slander can end up killing you indirectly… as Israel.
Its best to be able to recognize enemies and to deal with them as such…. when one seeks to bring in the grey areas then they end up like Israel and Jews…. doing a lot of thinking about it while dying. Better to put that thinking time towards how to liquidate your enemy.

  12. Sebastien Zorn Said:

On the other hand, I think the concern is justified. Look at this article from yesterday’s Washington Post:

the only value in reading Amazon Bezos’ WAPO is to determine what the crooks for whom they are spreading their fake news propaganda are trying to accomplish…. they are used to manipulate fools into seeking the goals planted in their mind by WAPO, and the garden is watered by the other fake news propaganda media:

Will congressional Republicans pass the first big test of their integrity by convening a joint committee to investigate Russia’s involvement in the 2016 election?
    ………….
Congressional Democrats might take a page from the Federalist Papers and demand that the 538 electors of the electoral college be briefed on what is known about Russian meddling before they cast their ballots on Dec. 19.

However, if Trump is smart this can be turned to an opportunity
He can agree that all hacking related to the election and the information gleaned therefrom be investigated. He can agree that all election crimes be investigated. I wonder what the rule is regarding the exposure of other crimes while investigating the “russian hacks” such as the dem crimes in the leaked info.

My only concern is if there is some technicality which might get the clintons and the dem crooks off and keep them out of jail related to these investigations. Such as inadmissable evidence rules and immunity.

  13. Bat Ye’or (herself an Egyptian Jewish refugee) really was the first to expose and analyze the Red/Green alliance in her ground-breaking book, “Eurabia.” Her first ground-breaking book, “Dhimmitude” launched the whole field of Dhimmmitude studies, the study of the history and sociology of non-Muslim peoples living under Muslim subjection.

The Wikipedia Article on Eurabia is informative though hostile, and the counter-arguments presented are sheer bull. I found an interview with her on youtube but it’s in French. Her books are available on Amazon. I read them. They are powerful explanations. The Red/Green alliance began with DeGaulle. After losing the N. African colonies, France and later all of Western Europe decided to cozy up to the former colonies in Africa and the Middle East to rebuild an empire of influence to counter the U.S. That’s how it started. It began with Great Power Nostalgia and Envy and ended up with being themselves gradually enslaved. How ironic. You know, it hasn’t been all that many centuries since the Moslem hordes were at the gates of Paris and Vienna, since they occupied Spain, Central Europe, Greece, Turkey, India. Greece only broke free in the 19th century! How soon they forget. Kids, today. Must be before their time! Of course, now the whole thing has also added the romantic universalist component from the counter-culture of the ’60s summed up in the John Lennon song, “Imagine.” Talk about the road to Hell being paved with good intentions. Wow! But, Leftists have supported the Jihadists on and off going back to the Comintern and the first Communist Party of Palestine which quickly rid itself of its originally Jewish leadership and became a pro-Arab anti-Jewish party as far back as the 1920’s. Khomeni came to power on the backs of a coalition with Leftists he later turned on. Iraq. The Left, with brief exceptions here and there, has played Trojan Horse for the most part. Though, they did eventually suppress Islam in Soviet Central Asia after initially allying themselves with it. But, Eurabia is a different animal. And now, on top of that, the Globalists think they can use the Muslims without getting destroyed themselves, in the end. Fools.

  14. @ Sebastien Zorn:
Quite right. InforWars inveighs against the establishment who are pushing the NWO but he doesn’t say much about the Islamists.

Unfortunately there is an alliance between the red and the green at least in the West.

I do not minimize the threat of Islam. It must be defeated.

  15. I think he only sees the globalist threat and doesn’t take Jihadism as a serious threat in its own right. Frankly, I see the main danger of globalism as giving the green light to the Jihad. But he’s thinking like a Libertarian. Also, I consider China and Russia rivals with whom we have some common interests and some conflicting interests. Not enemies. Enemies want to kill and/or enslave you. Rivals want to take your customers and be number one in the business. The main danger they pose is helping our jihadist enemies. But, these are increasingly their jihadist enemies, too. China just executed a lot of islamists. Russia and China are mainly problematic to the extent that they have alliances with Iran. But, both have increasingly warm relations with Israel. Did you get that reporter who interviewed Bibi insinuating that Israel is cozying up to China and Russia at America’s expense? What slime.
Ha Ha, I just thought of a catchier way of putting it. Rivals want to eat your lunch (to employ one of Trump’s favorite expressions) but enemies see you as lunch.
L’esprit d’escalier: A long time ago, I satirically joked that I almost voted for Crooked Hillary when I read that Chelsea had paid for her wedding out of the Clinton Fund, being a wedding musician, and all. Since, I am always interested in more work, or stocks and bonds, or cash, etc. After the fact, I wished I had added, “and, you gonna finish that?”

  16. @ woolymammoth:
Infowars broadcasts a lot of value. They have good sources. But in my opinion they go too far with their conspiracy stories. I believe that the establishment are working toward a New World Order. On the other hand we see what the UN and the EU is trying to do in disenfranchising the world. We see how the elites are pushing open borders and vastly increased immigration. Then there is the attempt to promote a Climate Change Agreement and the moves to limit free speech and to exercise control over social media.

Jones goes too far though I think.

I don’t believe for instance, his take on 9/11.

  17. It gets more interesting later on. Lot of repetition and advertising to wade through. Especially liked the interview with Roger Stone. I pre-ordered his book from Amazon Kindle, “The Making of the President 2016.” I learned a little about the reasoning behind some of these appointments.

  18. No Ted, DUMP INFO WARS. The election is over and done with. This is tabloid journalism at it’s worst. They killed Princess Diana for less. Don’t worry about this haverim, now is a time to celebrate and relax and relax, we won.
January 20th: Trump will be sworn in as US President and soon thereafter he will announce his intention to move the US Embassy quickly from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, if not before. And then what will happen…..the embassy will move as planned.
Netanyahu did not sell out Israel in The 60 Minutes interview. The PM is about to cross the finish line, actually blast through it at the speed of sound on January 20 and his Steam Engine is running strong and smooth. He did a good job on 60 Minutes if you understood precisely what he meant by reading between the lines. It is not sooo difficult.

  19. OK, I’m about 20 minutes into this and most of it makes sense but then every so often he just says something that makes me rock back in my chair, and say, “What?” Did he just say that Bin Laden bombed the World Trade Center — nobody mentions the Pentagon and the passenger-thwarted attempt on the White House — because he was an asset launched by the globalists to provide an excuse for a bunch of wars?
I don’t believe the CIA made up the WMD info. I believe the CIA made up the stuff that said they didn’t have it. Every intelligence agency — including the Germans, as I recall — said they had them. Remember that ambassador who was married to a CIA agent who liberals got mad when she was outed? Valerie somebody. The ambassador who told the world his President was full of sh*t?
I saw the photos of all those trucks heading into Syria on Debka File during Bush’s line in the sand period leading up to the war. And, apparently I was the only one who put two and two together when Syria started gassing people with chemical weapons nobody knew they had! Gee, what a surprise! I read the little article about how the post-liberation government was looking to sell its supply of yellow cake. I read about the factories they found to manufacture sarin gas and put them in perfume spray bottles. The planes for international hijackers to practice on. Don’t tell me they didn’t have WMDs or that they weren’t trying to get them and weren’t sponsoring international terror. Saddam Hussein was behind the first World Trade Center attack in 1993. Remember how he used the oil for food program to bribe key members of the UN in various countries to look the other way while he siphoned the funds? Congress voted to overthrow him and it was signed by President Clinton! Saddam Hussein tried to assassinate George W. Bush. The one thing that became clear when E. Germany fell was that suddenly it was easy to round up all these terrorists like the Bader Meinhof because they had no safe haven or sponsor. These are only some of the reasons we HAD to go to war.

The most profound statement I ever heard come from a President’s lips — and the one that made me vote Republican for President for the first time in my young life (age 45) — though I remained a Democrat for some years afterwards — was (paraphrasing from memory:) “In this era of shadowy, state-sponsored terrorist organizations, weapons of mass destruction and near instantaneous world travel, if we wait for threats to fully materialize, it will be too late.” – George W. Bush (2004)

  20. @ bernard ross:

They will never give up so they must be destroyed enter AG session’s and the Clinton file…. Now as per rules …If they can reduce elector votes below 270 it goes to the Congress and I don’tvsee Trump losing with such a republican majority.
