Olmert and his government must go!

There are ministers in the current Israeli government who have publicly
declared their support for dividing the historical capital of the Jewish People – Jerusalem –
and relinquishing control over its holiest site – the Temple Mount.

“No Jew is at liberty to surrender the right of
the Jewish Nation and the Land of Israel to exist.

No Jewish body is sanctioned to do so.

No Jew alive today has the authority to yield any piece of land whatsoever.

This right is preserved by the Jewish people throughout the generations and cannot be forfeited under any circumstances …”

David Ben Gurion

This is not an “Israeli” issue; it is a Jewish issue. Jerusalem is the birthright of every Jew: Jerusalem has been the capital of the Jewish People for 3000 years.

Through their failure to assert Jewish rights in our city and over our holy sites, the Israeli government has set the stage for the destruction of our 3000-year-old heritage.

If successful, this government will cause the physical obliteration of the Jews’ most precious legacy. They will forsake the State of Israel’s duty to protect our Jewish heritage. They will sever the State of Israel’s ties to Jewish history and the Jewish People. They will, in effect, deny the basis of the very right of a Jewish State to exist in the Land of Israel.

Our aim is to topple Olmert and his government, to expose the fact that they are acting against the will of the people and without their support AND to send a clear and resounding message out to the world that Jerusalem belongs to the Jews, now and forever.

This is a non-partisan, inclusive campaign. Given a Knesset whose prime motivation is to cling to their seats, our immediate goal is to threaten the stability of the coalition by arousing a level of public anger and unrest that can’t be ignored.

Olmert and his government must go!

We call on you to join us in our effort to give the mandate back to the people and call for new elections.

By agreeing to abandon the Temple Mount, the government of Israel has declared war on the Jewish People. Not on the Right, not on the Settlers, but on the WHOLE Jewish People. Reaction must be swift and devastating.

This government CANNOT remain in power!

A government that has an approval rating of 5% cannot claim to represent its people. It cannot make promises and sign agreements that will affect the future of Israel and the Jewish people. It is time to let the citizens decide their future!

Therefore, we demand that Prime Minister Olmert step down and call for immediate new elections.

The whole world has to know that the one who raises his hand against Jerusalem cannot stay in power.

We can’t do this alone. We need your help!

  1. Shalom Ted,

Expressed goals are not substantive goals – as determined by others. The 2 organizations are too closely interwoven.

US tax deductable contributions to fund efforts to disestablish a government with cordial and friendly diplomatic relations with the US cannot withstand scrutny – especially by our enemies.

Jeffrey Ballabon can provide better insight into the ultimate situation.

It’s poorly planned and poorly organized.

This distills down to being politically dangerous.

    Kol tuv,

  2. The United Coalition for Jerusalem is a coalition headed by Tsafrir Ronen, a person I know well. They are connected to Hatikvah, a new non-sectarian nationalist party that is dedicated to Keeping all of Judea and Samaria and keeping Israel Jewish. An undivided Jerusalem is just part of the piece. It wants to bring the government down and replace the existing power structure with one that you would call Jewish.

The Coordinating Council on Jerusalem is a coalition of N. American religious groups which is aligning with anyone who supports an undivided Jerusalem under Israeli sovereignty. Its expressed goals go no farther than that.

  3. No it doesn’t and no because it avoids the real fatal infection.

The Coordinating Council For Jerusalem’s Future does not NEED our financial support. It WANTS our financial support because money is fungable and those collecting funds can continue their pet project concurrently with maintaining their comfortable Anglican lifestyles.

Do note that PM Olmert and the Kadima (Backward) Party were not in office when the Tunesia exiled PLO were welcomed back to the land quoted by David Ben Gurion.

The = State of Israel = is not a Jewish nation-state. This must be fully understood. PM David Ben Gurion was closer in beliefs to Hungarian PM Bela Kun (the former Aaron Cohen) than to a political leader with a Jewish orientation.

US donations to the Coalition are tax deductable ?!?!

I thought Jeffrey Ballabon was a skilled national PR executive.

There are consequences to all this.

    Kol tuv,
