Barack Obama warned his successor against hiring Michael Flynn. It was Nov. 10, 2016, just two days after Donald Trump upset Hillary Clinton to become the 45th president of the United States. Trump told aide Hope Hicks that he was bewildered by the president’s warning. Of all the important things Obama could have discussed with him, the outgoing commander in chief wanted to talk about Michael Flynn.

Who Owns the Land?

By Victor Rosenthal

It never stops: Europeans complain about Israel building things, or rather, about Israelis planning to build things. Such activities, they claim are illegal, because according to them nothing east of the 1949 armistice line belongs to Israel.

But to whom does it really belong? A starting point is the question that the blogger who calls himself Elder of Ziyon asked in a tweet the other day: “what country was legitimately sovereign in Judea and Samaria on the day prior to the start of the 1967 war?”

The man tasked with steering Israel through the coronavirus crisis said Saturday that he was less concerned about hospitals being overwhelmed with sick patients than with the socioeconomic impact of the pandemic.

Prof. Ronni Gamzu, who was appointed to the job in late July, has expressed strong skepticism about using sweeping lockdown measures to curb the spread of the virus.

On Tuesday, he revealed the broad outline of his plan to deal with the pandemic, which included building up public trust by doing away with what he termed “illogical” restrictions.

Sweden Refused To Shut Down – They Were Right, We Were Wrong

Sweden’s Stunning COVID Numbers Show We Shut Down for No Reason at All

By Josh Manning, WESTERN JOURNALISMPublished August 1, 2020

Sweden did it.

The Nordic country defeated COVID-19 without seeming to break a sweat — fever-induced or otherwise. They effectively showed that Fauci & Co. were completely wrong about a shutdown being necessary to save civilization as we know it.

While that accomplishment should be lauded and their efforts duplicated around the world, the media has instead chosen to blast the Nordic state and paint a dismal picture that simply doesn’t exist.

WATCH: Tucker Drops a Truth Bomb About Dr. Fauci Being a ‘Total Fraud’

By Beth Baumann, TOWNHALL

Fox News host Tucker Carlson slammed Dr. Anthony Fauci for being hypocritical about his stance on the Wuhan coronavirus, particularly when it has to do with churches reopening and ongoing protests and riots across the country.”Anthony Fauci is likely the most powerful physician in the history of this country. He is one of the forces behind the mass quarantines that tanked the economy and put millions out of work. He says it’s worth it though because the threat is so profound, so profound, so imminent that you should wear goggles and stop shaking hands, in the name of science. So it’s interesting in light of that that one thing Anthony Fauci doesn’t seem concerned about at all are the riots going on, the mass protests where thousands of people are crowded into together touching each other without goggles,” Carlson explained.

Black Lives Matter: “We Will Burn Down This System” – Part II

By Soeren Kern, GATESTONE INSTITUTE  •  August 2, 2020

Black Lives Matter leaders have threatened to “burn down the system” if their demands are not met, and are also training black militias. • A recent survey by the Pew Research Center found that more than two-thirds of Americans support the Black Lives Matter movement. While Gatestone Institute and doubtless many others wish blacks and all minorities the equal opportunity offered by the Constitution…the high level of backing raises the question: How much does the public really know about BLM?

Naftali Bennett wants to be the right’s anti-Netanyahu — and it’s working

T. Belman. The author makes a good case for Bennett’s ascendancy without even mentioning, Bennett’s success as Minister of Defense.

It’s been obvious for months that the right-wing Yamina party would benefit from spending some time in the opposition. But no one imagined just how much.

The last four months have been the first time Yamina leader Naftali Bennett — or any Yamina MK, for that matter — has actually sat in the opposition. And support for the party has more than doubled.

We must continue to drain the swamps of antisemitic lies

The Big Lies, old and new, get crazier and crazier and those who support them feel it will protect them from the coming Mobs. It won’t.

By Phyllis Chesler, INN

We are not on our way to Babylon or to Europe again but oh, how I am increasingly weighed down by the Jew hatred which confronts us every day and in every place: On campus, in the media, at the United Nations, in Congress, online, in rap music, and on the streets.

Aren’t you tired of this, too?

It never stops coming and the Big Lies, both old and new, get crazier and crazier and those who support them feel that such virtue-signaling will protect them from the coming Mobs.

Countdown to Israeli Action Against Iran

By Michael Makovsky, PhD, JINSA

Recent mysterious explosions at Iran’s nuclear facilities, which some have attributed to Israel, return to prominence a calculation not seriously considered since 2015: Iran’s dwindling “breakout” clock.

The ensuing damage might successfully turn back time on that clock. But if not, Israel might have to consider military action; a decision lent urgency by the looming American election.

Why Your Kid Is A Communist

By Ray DiLorenzo, CBS

No, I am not saying that every parent’s child is a communist. What I am saying is that there are enough young people out there with either an affinity or a sympathy for the communist system to make us all very concerned. The polls show it, the rioting proves it.

According to a 2019 Gallup poll, 51% of adults, 18 to 29 view socialism positively, while 49% view capitalism positively.

Facebook bans page that shared videos of ex-Muslims

– discussing how they were persecuted for leaving Islam

OPINDIA

ExMuslim TV has been de-platformed with misplaced accusations of inciting violence and hate when all they do is post short videos of ex-Muslims narrating the persecution they face. It is unfathomable that individuals talking about how they are being threatened and shunned could ‘incite violence’ by any means, however, Facebook decided to de-platform them simply because they were talking about issues the Left prefers not being talked about.

Ex-Muslim activist: ‘Islam targets all forms of critical thinking’

By Robert Spencer, JIHAD WATCH

Nacer Amari is a Tunisian ex-Muslim who is facing deportation from Denmark despite the fact that he faces almost certain death in a majority-Muslim country. See the interview with him here.

Note that what Nacer Amari says in this article is the same thing that non-Muslim analysts, including me, have been saying for years. We have been answered with charges of “ignorance” and “Islamophobia.” Is Nacer Amari, who grew up a Muslim in a Muslim country, ignorant and Islamophobic as well?
