Israel reportedly weighs annexations in Judea & Samaria amid international push to recognize ‘State of Palestine’
Peloni: There is no need to annex that which already belongs to Israel, as does Judea & Samaria. Extending soveriengty should be fully supported by the US because of the obvious folly which came from their repeated re-inventions of the same Two State Solutions Plans. As if to conclude that no matter how many times such Plans led to war, there could be no other option, they ignored every alternative to this nightmare, including the most doable, manageable and enforceable plans, the Jordan Option. Extending Sovereignty would refocus the world towards accepting the very real reality that not only do the Palestinian Arabs not want a second Palestinian State, but that the first Palestinian state, Jordan, is entirely employable towards an equitable arrangement with Israel, but only under new management.
The Israeli government is debating whether to annex parts of Judea and Samaria in response to the push of several countries to recognize a Palestinian state, according to reports from Axios and Walla News on Sunday.
The issue was discussed during last week’s meeting in Washington between Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, according to Walla.
