Sweden Refused To Shut Down – They Were Right, We Were Wrong

Sweden’s Stunning COVID Numbers Show We Shut Down for No Reason at All

By Josh Manning, WESTERN JOURNALISMPublished August 1, 2020

Sweden did it.

The Nordic country defeated COVID-19 without seeming to break a sweat — fever-induced or otherwise. They effectively showed that Fauci & Co. were completely wrong about a shutdown being necessary to save civilization as we know it.

While that accomplishment should be lauded and their efforts duplicated around the world, the media has instead chosen to blast the Nordic state and paint a dismal picture that simply doesn’t exist.

WATCH: Tucker Drops a Truth Bomb About Dr. Fauci Being a ‘Total Fraud’

By Beth Baumann, TOWNHALL

Fox News host Tucker Carlson slammed Dr. Anthony Fauci for being hypocritical about his stance on the Wuhan coronavirus, particularly when it has to do with churches reopening and ongoing protests and riots across the country.”Anthony Fauci is likely the most powerful physician in the history of this country. He is one of the forces behind the mass quarantines that tanked the economy and put millions out of work. He says it’s worth it though because the threat is so profound, so profound, so imminent that you should wear goggles and stop shaking hands, in the name of science. So it’s interesting in light of that that one thing Anthony Fauci doesn’t seem concerned about at all are the riots going on, the mass protests where thousands of people are crowded into together touching each other without goggles,” Carlson explained.

Black Lives Matter: “We Will Burn Down This System” – Part II

By Soeren Kern, GATESTONE INSTITUTE  •  August 2, 2020

Black Lives Matter leaders have threatened to “burn down the system” if their demands are not met, and are also training black militias. Pictured: Police vehicles burn after being torched by participants in a BLM demonstration on May 30, 2020 in Los Angeles. (Photo by Mark Ralston/AFP via Getty Images)

  • A recent survey by the Pew Research Center found that more than two-thirds of Americans support the Black Lives Matter movement. While Gatestone Institute and doubtless many others wish blacks and all minorities the equal opportunity offered by the Constitution…the high level of backing raises the question: How much does the public really know about BLM?

Naftali Bennett wants to be the right’s anti-Netanyahu — and it’s working

It’s been obvious for months that the right-wing Yamina party would benefit from spending some time in the opposition. But no one imagined just how much.

The last four months have been the first time Yamina leader Naftali Bennett — or any Yamina MK, for that matter — has actually sat in the opposition. And support for the party has more than doubled.

We must continue to drain the swamps of antisemitic lies

The Big Lies, old and new, get crazier and crazier and those who support them feel it will protect them from the coming Mobs. It won’t.

By Phyllis Chesler, INN

We are not on our way to Babylon or to Europe again but oh, how I am increasingly weighed down by the Jew hatred which confronts us every day and in every place: On campus, in the media, at the United Nations, in Congress, online, in rap music, and on the streets.

Aren’t you tired of this, too?

It never stops coming and the Big Lies, both old and new, get crazier and crazier and those who support them feel that such virtue-signaling will protect them from the coming Mobs.

Countdown to Israeli Action Against Iran

By Michael Makovsky, PhD, JINSA

Recent mysterious explosions at Iran’s nuclear facilities, which some have attributed to Israel, return to prominence a calculation not seriously considered since 2015: Iran’s dwindling “breakout” clock.

The ensuing damage might successfully turn back time on that clock. But if not, Israel might have to consider military action; a decision lent urgency by the looming American election.

Why Your Kid Is A Communist

By Ray DiLorenzo, CBS

No, I am not saying that every parent’s child is a communist. What I am saying is that there are enough young people out there with either an affinity or a sympathy for the communist system to make us all very concerned. The polls show it, the rioting proves it.

According to a 2019 Gallup poll, 51% of adults, 18 to 29 view socialism positively, while 49% view capitalism positively.

Facebook bans page that shared videos of ex-Muslims

– discussing how they were persecuted for leaving Islam

OPINDIA

ExMuslim TV has been de-platformed with misplaced accusations of inciting violence and hate when all they do is post short videos of ex-Muslims narrating the persecution they face. It is unfathomable that individuals talking about how they are being threatened and shunned could ‘incite violence’ by any means, however, Facebook decided to de-platform them simply because they were talking about issues the Left prefers not being talked about.

Ex-Muslim activist: ‘Islam targets all forms of critical thinking’

By Robert Spencer, JIHAD WATCH

Nacer Amari is a Tunisian ex-Muslim who is facing deportation from Denmark despite the fact that he faces almost certain death in a majority-Muslim country. See the interview with him here.

Note that what Nacer Amari says in this article is the same thing that non-Muslim analysts, including me, have been saying for years. We have been answered with charges of “ignorance” and “Islamophobia.” Is Nacer Amari, who grew up a Muslim in a Muslim country, ignorant and Islamophobic as well?

White Coat Supremacy and Cancel Culture

Anthony Fauci’s record of attacking dissenters and suppressing the truth.

By Lloyd Billingsley, FPM

Long before he attained celebrity status with the White House Coronavirus Task Force, Dr. Anthony Fauci pioneered what is now called “cancel culture.” The victim was a medical scientists far more qualified than Fauci himself.

Anthony Fauci earned a medical degree but his bio shows no earned PhD in molecular biology or biochemistry. In 1984 as head National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), Fauci contended that AIDS was caused by a virus known as HIV. Peter H. Duesberg, professor of molecular and cell biology at UC Berkeley, found no scientific evidence for that claim.

Honor, Respect, Submission: The Contemporary Moral Confusion

by Howard Rotberg, NER

The Macmillan Dictionary defines the verb to “honor” (spelled “honour” in Britain and Canada) as “to show your respect or admiration for someone, especially by giving them a prize or title, or by praising them publicly.”

And so, George Floyd, whose adult life was spent in years of crime and jail sentences and in impregnating and then abandoning 5 different women, and participating in an armed home invasion where he held a gun to the pregnant belly of a woman victim, has been honored in the United States.

Black Americans Corralled to Vote Democrat for 200 years

By Alexander G. Markovsky

Martin Luther King Jr., in his famous speech, envisioned: “I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia, the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.” But the evolution of the relationship between the sons has been complex.

Since its inception in January 1828, the Democratic Party was the Party of slavery governed by Plato’s philosophy that it was right for the ‘better’ to rule over the ‘inferior.’

‘Cancel Culture’: Old Tyranny in New Bottles

If the progressives succeed, they will create what the Founders feared.

By Bruce Thornton, FPM

The last few weeks we’ve seen programmatically progressive media outlets purging their political bedfellows for deviating from the “woke” party line. Some, like erstwhile New York Times editor James Bennet, confessed and apologized for their alleged sins voluntarily, like an old Bolshevik apparatchik in a show-trial. Others, like Times editor Bari Weiss and Atlantic writer Andrew Sullivan, resigned before they were hustled to the guillotine, at least salvaging some self-respect.

Nearly Half Of Young Americans Say It’s Okay To Fire People Who Support Trump

By Glenn T. Stanton, THE FEDERALIST, July 31, 2020

The Cato Institute just released a new report showing that 62 percent of Americans are inclined to self-censor what they say politically “because others might find them offensive.” Even moderate leftists report they feel increased fear of offending the offendable, while only the most “staunch liberals,” as Cato described them, feel free to speak their minds. The “very conservative” have been pushed deepest in the closet: they are most likely to refrain from saying what they think politically, at nearly twice the rate of the “very liberal.”

Buried deeper in the report, however, is a stunning data point that might be one of the most troubling current cultural indicators. Forty-four percent of Americans younger than age 30 believe a company is correct in firing an executive because he or she personally donated to President Trump’s reelection campaign.

Israel’s non-disengagement

The late Prime Minister Ariel Sharon denied that Israel was planning a second disengagement from Judea and Samaria, but it turns out that he and former Justice Minister Tzipi Livni appointed a secret team that was charged to look into the feasibility of the idea.

Israel's non-disengagement

Fifteen years ago today, the day after Tisha B’Av of that year, 1,751 families (about 9,000 people) were evicted from their homes in Gush Katif and northern Samaria, along with thousands of supporters who had come to help them. A total of 26 communities in Gush Katif, the northern part of the Gaza Strip, and northern Samaria were turned into ruins in what was defined as either “disengagement” or an “expulsion.” The unprecedented event, which then-Prime Minister Ariel Sharon initiated as part of the peace process, is still etched on the hearts of many on the Right and the Left as a serious trauma and a major mistake in terms of defense and security.
