Peloni: The focused effort to delegitimize the hilltop youth movement, along with recent audio recordings demonstrating the weaponization of the law against these activists, should call into question the recent rush to judgement against the hilltop youths. The very same slogans were shouted out by an illegal Egyptian Muslim immigrant as he attacked Jews in Boulder Colorado with flame blowers and fire bombs, one of whom died of her wounds this week, and by a leftist extremist as he shot point blank and murdered two Israeli embassy staffers in Washington, D. C. as they were leaving an event at the Capital Jewish Museum.
Peloni: Al Jolani proposes that Israel return either 1/3 or 2/3 of Golan for peace deal. Israel should counter this offer with a proposal of Syria giving Israel 1/3 of Syria, in deference to the Syrian minorities which Israel is protecting from being annihilated by Jolani’s forces.

The “Iran Hayom” network posts anti-Israel propaganda, in Hebrew and English, across X, Instagram, TikTok, Telegram, and YouTube. Its name is a play on the widely read Israeli newspaper Israel Hayom, which publishes in Hebrew at israelhayom[.]co[.]il and whose English website is israelhayom[.]com. The Iran Hayom logo even borrows design elements from Israel Hayom. An Israeli reader scrolling casually through their feed might even read Iran Hayom content and think the Israeli paper had posted it.

Peloni: There are many current reports on the unbelievable feats of Catherine Perez-Shakdam, but I think this one captures a greater context than most, while also raising remaining questions which linger after reading of her incredible movement into the most inner circles of the Iranian regime. In fact, the questions which are raised at the end of this video are what drew my interest in looking closer into what is known of Perez-Shakdam, but the honest truth is that there the answers to these questions remain somewhat unclear. In any event, if she was acting on behalf of the Mossad or out of a resolve to deal with the antisemitism which she grew up with, she is an amazing woman, and her reports on the inside conversations with the leadership of the Mullahs were incredibly important, even if she did not have a hand in what took place by Israel inside Iran over the past many years.

The Red Sea is a critically important route for companies that are shipping goods from Asia to Europe. It accounts for about “15% of total global sea trade.” The Houthis have been disrupting those shipping routes since early 2024, thus affecting the price of goods, which are now costing more to ship and are taking longer to arrive, as the ships have faced attacks. This translated into higher prices for Western consumers in already bad economies. Then in early May, the Iran-aligned Houthis struck a deal with Trump to stop interrupting the shipping vessels in the Red Sea and Middle East. In turn, Trump said the U.S. would stop bombing the Houthis in Yemen. The agreement, however, did not include Houthi strikes on Israel. While that deal gave a hope of reprieve for the shipping vessels at risk, a new report is now stating that the Houthis have struck what appears to be a simultaneous deal with al-Shabab.

In a televised, pre-recorded address marking the 12th anniversary of Egypt’s 30 June revolution against the Muslim Brotherhood rule of Egypt, President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi crossed a red line he had steadfastly avoided for 11 years, since he assumed office in 2014: he formally legitimised armed “resistance” against Israel.
