Every non-liberal leftist — that is, nearly every Democrat running for president, New York Times and Washington Post columnist, CNN and MSNBC host, and your left-wing brother-in-law — labels every Trump supporter and, of course, President Donald Trump, a “racist.”

And they don’t stop there. Leftists don’t only label the half of the country that supports the president “racist,” they label all whites and America itself “racist.” If your son or daughter attends or recently attended an American university, it is close to certain he or she was repeatedly told that America and all whites are racist. According to the left, whites are divided between those who admit they are racist and those who don’t admit it.

Every conservative and many liberals know this is a big lie. The great question is: Do leftists believe it? It is impossible to know. But this we do know: If you repeat something often enough, and if your Weltanschauung (worldview) and that which gives your life meaning are dependent upon believing something, you will eventually believe it.

So here is a way to show it is a lie.

Authorities in the Chinese capital have ordered halal restaurants and food stalls to remove Arabic script and symbols associated with Islam from their signs, part of an expanding national effort to “Sinicize” its Muslim population.

Employees at 11 restaurants and shops in Beijing selling halal products and visited by Reuters in recent days said officials had told them to remove images associated with Islam, such as the crescent moon and the word “halal” written in Arabic, from signs.

Ahead of the next round of Democratic debates (tonight and tomorrow), the Associated Press has preemptively fact-checked a number of claims and assertions the party’s presidential field is likely to advance on stage.  On a series of issues, Democrats are employing misleading, unfair, or false arguments to make their political points.  Here is a handful of the ways in which the AP called them out, starting with the endlessly-repeated “kids in cages” line on the border crisis:

By Buttigieg’s standard, the Democratic Party has also lost its claim to invoke religion — because the “cages” were built and used by the Obama administration. Harris, a California senator, calls them a human rights abuse, but, like other Democrats, solely blames Trump. The facilities are sectioned-off, chain-link indoor pens where children who come to the border without adults or who are separated from adults in detention are temporarily housed. The children are divided by age and sex. A year ago, Associated Press photographs showing young people in such enclosures were misrepresented online as depicting child detentions by Trump and denounced by some Democrats and activists as illustrating Trump’s cruelty. In fact, the photos were taken in 2014 during the Obama administration.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D., N.Y.) agreed with a radio host’s description of Israel’s treatment of Palestinians as “criminal” during an interview Tuesday and suggested Palestinians had no recourse but violence.

On his hip-hop program “Ebro in the Morning,” interviewer Ebro Darden said there was a collection of “corrupt” governments in Israel, the United States, Russia, and Saudi Arabia, “all working in concert,” and referred to White House policy adviser Stephen Miller as a white supremacist.

“How do you have white supremacist Jews?” he asked. “How do you have people like Stephen Miller? How do you have these individuals who are legit aligning with racism and white supremacy, but they’re Jewish? And it’s something that most people can’t wrap their brains around. But it’s a real thing.”

Simply for liking President Trump, the Left was going to make an example of that deplorable 20-year-old.  Leftists were going to make her pay.

And for a while there, they got away with it.  Young Kathy Zhu, the newly crowned Miss Michigan, lost her title on account of her “offensive” tweets.  The press went through every last one of the crown-winner’s tweets over the years and found a couple it decided were “offensive,” “racist,” and “insensitive,” broadcasting those.  After that, the Miss World pageant organization dethroned her.

Justice.  The Left triumphs.  That’ll teach those Trump-supporting deplorables their lesson.

Except that now in place of a mere beauty queen, the Left has got a Frankenstein’s monster on its hands.
