Time to end America’s toxic relationship with Qatar – opinion

Qatar supports Hamas, houses Taliban leaders, and funds antisemitism on American campuses, so why is it still America’s ‘indispensable’ Middle East partner?

Why does the United States defend the mega-rich, tiny state of Qatar, a nation that supports and applauds Islamist terror, is the financial home of the Muslim Brotherhood, and uses its education-focused Qatari Foundation to sway the minds of American students beginning in kindergarten?

Our Fiery but Mostly Peaceful Foreign Invasion

By J.B. Shurk | Am Thinker | June 12, 2025

We all knew that this was coming.  When voters came out in force last November to make sure that President Trump’s margin of victory exceeded Democrats’ systemic fraud, it was obvious what would happen next.  Democrats would do what Marxist globalists and Western Intelligence agencies have been doing across the world for many years: instigate riots, mayhem, sabotage, and general rebellion.

Israeli cyber firm’s $1 billion exit endangers nation’s security, intel experts say

Peloni:  This is an important article, PLEASE READ.  Paragon Solutions, the technology which was used to insert spyware into cellphones and provided Israel with an outsized advantage in cybersecurity, has been sold to a US equity firm.   PM Netanyahu posted a link to the Channel 11 report of this outrage on his Twitter account stating, “To see and not to believe. Watch.”  The loss of control over this technology to a foreign firm has an obvious potential of having a game changing effect upon Israel.  Not only are nations such as the US no longer dependent upon Israel to access this technology, but this technology, which gave Israel an unmatched advantage over its enemies, has been offloaded to a third party with the clear and obvious potential of that technology now being used against Israeli citizens, generals and politicians.

When acts of treason and insurrection are deemed less criminal than lowest grade misdemeanor, as has been increasingly evident over the past more than two years, even assets which are among the most sensitive to national security might be sold to foreign interests for the right price without consequence, and indeed, this appears to be what has taken place here.

A Tribute to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo & his Unique Courageous Support For America’s beleaguered Allies, the Kurds…

by Gerald A. Honigman

I was recently alerted to an important essay dealing with America’s 40 million truly stateless allies in the Middle East, who have far less negative moral “baggage” than most of the Arab states and Turkey, which we have long standing relations with, but who’ve been brutally massacred and have had their own native language and culture outlawed by some of those nations mentioned above—including gassing to death and otherwise slaughter of over 200,000 in the Anfal Campaign and on other occasions in Arab Iraq alone—the Kurds. Professor Ismet Cherif Vanly’d book, “The Syrian (Arab) Mein Kampf Against the Kurds,” needs no additional explanation.

Channel hopping, on. June 9, 2025 I lucked into catching former Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, author of the above mentioned essay, being interviewed on Fox News.

Stories Told by the Ghosts of Babyn Yar

Peloni:  A poignant reminder of a tragedy which was so terrible that even the best efforts of the combined regimes of both the Nazis and the Communist failed to erase its memory from the public consciousness.  In the shadow of a global reemerging of the Oldest Hatred, we must recall that we face our enemies attempts to erase us from existence in every age, yet, as in the attempts to expunge the record of Babi Yar, it is we who will endure the challenges facing us, as we have done in every successive generation before us over the past millennia.

No monument stands over Babi Yar.

A drop sheer as a crude gravestone.

India Boosts Air Force With Israeli-Backed Jet Following Pakistan Standoff

Israeli defense technology plays a central role in India’s latest combat aircraft, strengthening strategic ties amid growing regional tensions.

Israfan | June 11, 2025

In a major leap for regional defense dynamics, the Indian Air Force is set to receive its upgraded HAL Tejas fighter jets this month bolstered significantly by Israeli technology. This delivery follows a year-long delay and arrives at a critical time, just after recent escalations with Pakistan highlighted the urgent need to modernize India’s air fleet.

Ukraine in a bind as Russia moves into Dnipropetrovsk

Peloni:  As per usual, this will not end well for Ukrainians in the front lines.

It’s very difficult to imagine how Ukraine can prevent any further Russian advances after this.

|

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Sunday that their forces had entered Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk Region, which Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed is part of Putin’s buffer zone plan. This was foreseen as early as late August once the Battle of Pokrovsk began but has been achieved even without capturing that strategic fortress town. Russian forces simply went around it after breaking through the southern Donbass front. This development puts Ukraine in a dilemma.

It’ll now have to simultaneously fortify the Dnipropetrovsk front together with the southern Kharkov and northern Zaporozhye ones in case Russia uses its new position to launch offensives into any of those three. This could put serious strain on the Ukrainian Armed Forces as they’re already struggling to prevent a major breakthrough in Sumy Region from Kursk. Coupled with depleting manpower and questions about continued US military-intelligence aid, this might be enough to collapse the frontlines.

Getting Gazans wrong: Understanding support for Hamas and the Oct. 7 attacks

Peloni:  The Gazans are as responsible for Hamas as were the Germans of 1930’s Germany responisble for the Nazis.  What is more, even among those Gazans who object to Hamas rule, you will never hear any criticism of the slaughter of Jews in their criticisms.  Indeed, the Gazan hordes have been well weaponized against the Jewish people thru the best efforts of the terror complicit UNRWA, which has been funded without hesitation by the international community.  The weaponized result of this social experiment to kill Jews is to be found in Jenin and Ramallah, just as well as in Gaza.

Policies concerning refugees, foreign aid and ceasefires must be informed by the reality that a large segment of Gaza’s population supports a terror group.

Moshe Phillips

Leila Fadel on NPR’s Morning Edition on June 5 interviewed Graeme Groom, a British surgeon who worked recently at Nasser Hospital in the Gaza Strip. Groom’s comments were entirely one-sided and naive. “The current campaign is directed almost exclusively at the blameless and defenseless,” he said.

Netanyahu Wisely Arms Gaza Clans to Fight Hamas

Peloni:  The question remains how this strategy might advantage Israel’s ability to achieve a decisive victory and to facilitate Gazan emmigration.  While the use of these clans might possibly advantage the former, it would seem to be counterintuitive to support the latter.

Critics assail Israel for employing a strategy the U.S. used in World War II, Afghanistan and Iraq.

By John Spencer, WSJ, June 8, 2025

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed last week that Israel is arming local clans inside Gaza to fight Hamas. Critics immediately called the move dangerous and reckless. Former Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman even claimed one of the groups receiving weapons has ties to ISIS.

I fought in Iraq and commanded U.S. soldiers on the streets of Baghdad, and I can tell you: This isn’t a desperate gamble. It’s a hard-learned, historically grounded strategy, and one of the most effective tools in asymmetric warfare.

Who’s Really Running Israel? The Faces Behind the Deep State

Peloni:  This is an important 13min video.  In an interview by Elazar Shturm, Prof. Yaron Zelekha suggests that the Israeli Deep State is limited to the judiciary.

Zelekha also provides an important context for the insidious aspects of the power held by current select non-state power moguls who have the ability to limit and control the liberties of ordinary people, unlike any non-state actor in history.  While it falls to govts, particularly the US govt, to regulate, control and limit this power, there can be no such governmental safeguard provided when these power barons join the govt.  Indeed, as the term “public-private” has become an altogether routine description of joint enterprises between the govt and these power moguls in the private sector, individual liberties and personal enfranchisement are a necessary loser, as the interests of the govt are altered from being directed towards individual rights and liberties towards being towards the enterprises surrounding the public private enterprises.  A notable example of this was to be seen in Operation Warp Speed, where the US govt adopted and protected the interests of Big Pharma over that of American citizens.

IRAN – THINGS ARE ABOUT TO GET HOT…

Avi Abelow

For over two decades, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stood virtually alone on the world stage, sounding the alarm about the threat of a nuclear-armed Islamic Republic of Iran.

He warned in countless speeches, briefings, and especially at the yearly United Nations forums, that a regime which openly calls for Israel’s annihilation, as Israel is the little satan with the USA the big satan, must never be allowed to possess the most dangerous weapons humanity has ever created.

Brit Hume Calls Democrats ‘Politically Insane’ For Opposing Trump’s Response To Los Angeles Riots

Peloni:  When political control is divorced from public consent, such politically insane tactics appear far less insane as it represents a turf war between factions.

Mariane Angela | Daily Caller |

Brit Hume appeared on Fox News Monday to criticize Democrats who oppose President Donald Trump and his decision to deploy U.S. forces to assist local law enforcement in the wake of the Los Angeles riots.
