Peloni:  Radicals are nothing to celebrate, and the promotion of Jew Hatred is nothing to tolerate.  As Trump has made statements on the unacceptable nature of these things, he has failed to call out Carlson and his fellow MAGA talking heads for their promotion of intolerance, even as it strikes directly at the heart of Trump’s own anti Iran policies.  Trump needs to address this issue directly.  His silence on the rampant promotion of Jew Hatred among the likes of Carlson is not helping him.

Peloni:  The story of the Kurds is a heart-wrenching tale of betrayal and division.  In an age in which Turkey is allowed its colonization from Cyprus to Syria and more, the Kurds are denied their rights of recognition even of autonomy under the current Turkish puppet in Syria.  Notably, Trump’s deference for the Turkish interest in expanding its control well beyond its borders has not only consumed the indigenous rights of the Kurds, but the civil rights of minorities in Syria.  Will he next force Israel from its protective barrier over the Syrian Druze?  How many slaughters must the world witness in silence to appease the megalomania of the neo Ottoman obsessed Erdogan?

When the Syrian army attempts to move into Kurdish cities and towns, not just into oil fields and sparsely populated desert areas, it may encounter fierce and determined Kurdish resistance.

After massacring members of the Alawite community and Druze, Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa turned to deal with the Kurdish minority, now the only remaining obstacle to the establishment of an Islamic State of Syria. This is a state that enjoys a warm embrace from the international community, and especially from the US, while relentlessly persecuting its minorities. The new Syrian constitution adopted by al-Sharaa only recently formally guarantees freedom of worship for all religions. In practice, however, al-Sharaa views Alawites and Druze as heretics who, under Islam, deserve death. The Kurds, for their part, are seen as an ethnic minority that threatens Syria’s unity and territorial integrity, and therefore al-Sharaa offers them a stark choice: surrender or die.

Peloni:  This assessment mimics what I have stated before in large part.  Trump is not interested in regime change in Iran.  The closest he has indicated to countering this claim was when he stated it is time for a new leader in Iran, which calls to mind what he achieved in Venezeula.  I did believe that Trump would ultimately strike Iran, but his recent comments suggest that this may now be in doubt.  Time will tell if Trump will strike the regime at all, but I am more convinced than ever that it will be a limited strike, not in support of the Iranian people.

The Trump administration has fundamentally changed direction on Iran. US NATO Ambassador Matt Whitaker says the US will not try and force regime change in Iran, suggesting that “we don’t want another Libya scenario.”

Peloni:  Thousands of lives changed following Trump’s first decision to save the Mullah regime in Tehran.  I hope he doesn’t make the same mistake again.  Iran is not interested in negotiations, they are not able to be reformed, and they are directly responsible for thousands of American dead, from Iraq, Beirut, terror attacks across the decades, and their role in supporting the drug trade entering the US.  The hemorrhaging of American victims of this regime, along with the victims of Israelis, Europeans and Iranians as well, can end but it will take the resolve of ending the regime in Tehran, rather than sending them a lifeline by which they can continue their operations of slaughter around the globe.

Peloni:  Trump’s message is pretty clear and can be seen HERE.  As Erin Molin states, ‘FINALLY’.  Recall that the carnival of antisemites and Iranian pundits among the MAGA talking heads are not in any way supportive of the philosemitic agenda which represents the majority of Trump’s MAGA base, but are instead far more closely aligned with Obama, who openly attacked Israel while supporting Iran as do Carlson and his allies on the Woke Right.  Their objective is not to support Trump, the Republicans, or MAGA, but to split the conservative base so as to allow the Dems a clear shot at victory in the midterms.  This is why Trump has needed to responded to their increasingly unmeasured antisemitic Pro Jihadi rants.  His mild rebuke of STFU was very long overdue, yet still rather mild and does not address the antisemitic nature of their commentaries at all.

Peloni:  This defensive Saudi arms deal comes alongside $6.7 billion Israeli deal for Apache helicpoters and ground vehicles.  Also, Khaled Bin Salman, Saudi Defense Minister, changes Saudi position on attacking Iran by 180 degrees.  Additionally, Saudis announce that the alliance with Pakistan will remain as a bilateral agreement without Turkish involvement.

Peloni:  Amid the false narrative sold as “Settler Violence” for anti-Israel political purposes, it is important to note that violence within Israeli Arab communities in Israel continues to be characterized almost exclusively by intra-community crime, rather than inter-ethnic conflict with Jewish Israelis, something which has never waivered.   Also, despite making up about 20% of Israel’s population, Arab citizens account for more than 70% of all homicide victims in Israel with the number of 2025 Arab homicides being the highest ever.  The majority of these killings are related to crime involving illegal firearms and are generally related to gang violence, organized crime, and clan disputes.

The latest militia to say it backs Iran is the Harakat Hezbollah al-Nujaba group. Often called Nujaba, it is one of the militias that is closest to Iran in Iraq. It is also part of the Popular Mobilization Forces, a paramilitary in Iraq, and it is designated a terrorist group by the US.

Peloni:  Christine provides an important analysis of the disturbing trend coming from Saudi Arabia and Turkey since October 7, citing specific reports demonstrating this trend.  Normalization with the Saudis provides an import oportunity for the Saudis to shift their economy towards diversifying away from its dependence on energy production alone.  This was believed to be the path on which the future would be travel.  In the recent months, and in particular in recent weeks, this belief has been seriously called into question.  Some, such as Khaled Hassan, have come to completely distrust the motivations of the Saudis given their return to projecting antisemitic commentary as the official language of the regime.  Is there any real basis for ignoring the Kingdom’s retrograding policy aligning with our enemies?  Or is the romance with MBS at an end?

The world seems largely to think that Israel is so eager for normalization with Muslim countries that ordinary conditions don’t apply. Saudi Arabia has already made it clear repeatedly that it considers no normalization possible without Israel’s return to its pre-1967 borders (aka “the Auschwitz borders”), and the Saudis also expect that East Jerusalem would be established as the capital of a Palestinian state. For the Israelis to accept such conditions would be utter madness.
