This article starts with the premise that the hated Iran deal (which was never signed and is no agreement at all) is worth protecting and this crazy man Trump, for nefarious purposes, is out to undermine it. Furthermore, when considering the trouble we are in with N Korea because of a similar deal, you would think that more is to be gained from overturning the deal now and taking further action to destabilize the regime in Iran. This would reverse their gains in Syria and Iraq. Also this regime has only a 15% approval rating.

During Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Israel visit, he and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu noted the importance of realizing the full potential of the India-Israel partnership and they asked their respective staffs to draw up concrete plans to implement their vision for cooperation in a range of areas by the first week of January.
Both countries have endorsed the vision to work cooperatively not only for their mutual benefit, but for the good of the other parts of the world, too. As Netanyahu said, “We are talking about also cooperation in Third World countries by joining forces in various areas.”

UN Security Council approves resolution requiring UNIFIL to take action against Hezbollah.
Israel’s Ambassador to the United Nations, Danny Danon, on Wednesday welcomed the adoption of a new UN Security Council resolution regarding the mandate of the United Nations Interim Forces in Lebanon (UNIFIL).
According to the decision made upon the annual renewal of this mandate, UNIFIL is now required to expand its reports to the Security Council and take deliberate action against Hezbollah’s violations.
UNIFIL’s presence on the ground will increase significantly, and troops will be required to tour the Hezbollah-controlled areas of southern Lebanon. UNIFIL must also report all instances of Hezbollah’s violations and attempts to deny access immediately.

Read carefully and you may realize that the word ‘occupation’ is being misused in leftist circles.
Most people consider the Arab occupation of parts of Israel simply an issue of national pride and not terribly significant. While it would be nice to liberate the Jewish lands under foreign control, it’s not essential. Let foreigners control the Temple Mount, Gaza, Shechem, Beit Lehem and other Jewish areas.
Who cares if Jews are too afraid to walk around inside their own country in places like Um El Fachem, Rahat and dozens of other Arab settlements. Who cares if we can’t visit the Mount of Olives, the oldest Jewish cemetery in the world, unless we have a police escort? We don’t need to go to those places. It’s enough if we stay within the confines of Tel Aviv, West Jerusalem, and other majority Jewish areas.

As an Israeli who supports Trump and attended Trump’s inauguration to celebrate his win, I read with a heavy heart the reports leaking out of the White House that Sebastian Gorka did not resign but was forced out of his position as a security advisor to the President by General H.R. McMaster and General John Kelly.
Mr. Gorka is the seventh Trump loyalist McMaster has forced out in recent months from the President’s National Security Team. All have been attempting to carry out President Trump’s campaign promises to combat Iranian and radical Islamist terrorist threats, and to support Israel and the U.S.-Israel alliance.
In a scathing August 24 New York Times op-ed, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, a Somali-born feminist, author, scholar and former Dutch parliament member, lamented that the far-left Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) “has hit the jackpot” in huge donations in the aftermath of the violence in Charlottesville. Hirsi Ali noted that Apple pledged $1 million to the SPLC; JP Morgan Chase & Co. half a million; George and Amal Clooney $1 million.
While Hirsi Ali condemned Nazism, white supremacy and racial bigotry as having no place in a civilized society, she made it clear that contributing to the SPLC is the wrong way to combat this poison.

Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman told reporters on Tuesday that the settlements law, which retroactively authorizes almost 4,000 illegal settler homes built on private Palestinian property, ultimately also could authorize 10,000 illegal Palestinian homes.
The Yisrael Beytenu party head’s right-wing counterparts have presented the legislation as a necessary move to strengthen the settlement movement. After Cohn and Tillerson undermine the president in public, White House clashes escalate
President Donald Trump is growing frustrated with the “globalists” in his administration, and at one point this month, he ordered his staff to start bringing him tariffs on subsidized imports.
Trump was apparently getting tired of excuses when it comes to trade policy, in an incident first reported by Axios on Sunday.
Trump told the roomful of White House officials, including John Kelly, his new chief of staff, and Gary Cohn, his director of the National Economic Council, that he was tired of excuses, according to the Axios account, which was confirmed to LifeZette by a White House official with direct knowledge of the conversation.

Earlier this month, on August 12, a group of white nationalists held a rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, ostensibly to protest the proposed removal of a statue of the Confederate General Robert E. Lee from a local park. Those demonstrators clashed with a leftist group of counter-demonstrators, many of whom represented the Marxist/anarchist movement known as Antifa, and one woman was killed when a young white nationalist rammed his car into a crowd of counter-protesters.
If local authorities won’t do it, the Federal government must.
Freedom of Assembly is the first and most important right of the Bill of Rights. Today it is being denied in cities like Berkeley and Portland where local left-wing governments have contrived to deny rally permits while giving the masked thugs of their leftist Antifa allies a blank check to assault those whose views they oppose.
In Berkley, Boston and San Francisco, the First Amendment doesn’t exist anymore.
