So are the reports of an Israeli attack in earnest, or is this more posturing by Washington towards its hopes of negotiating with Iran? Maybe its both. Notably, amid reports that this weekend’s talks with Iran have been cancelled, Steve Witkoff is still expected to be traveling to Oman for the talks.
