Hillary’s 33,000 emails might not be ‘missing’ after all

By Paul Sperry, NY POST, October 25, 2016

clinton1For months now, we’ve been told that Hillary Clinton’s 33,000 missing emails were permanently erased and destroyed beyond recovery. But newly released FBI notes strongly suggest they still exist in several locations — and they could be recovered, if only someone would impanel a grand jury and seize them.

In a May interview with FBI agents, an executive with the Denver contractor that maintained Clinton’s private server revealed that an underling didn’t bleach-clean all her subpoenaed emails, just ones he stored in a data file he used to transfer the emails from the server to Clinton’s aides, who in turn sorted them for delivery to Congress.

FBI agents are ready to revolt over the cozy Clinton probe

By Paul Sperry, NY POST  FIRST PUBLISHED ON OCT 7/16

Veteran FBI agents say FBI Director James Comey has permanently damaged the bureau’s reputation for uncompromising investigations with his “cowardly” whitewash of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s mishandling of classified information using an unauthorized private email server.

Feeling the heat from congressional critics, Comey last week argued that the case was investigated by career FBI agents, “So if I blew it, they blew it, too.”

But agents say Comey tied investigators’ hands by agreeing to unheard-of ground rules and other demands by the lawyers for Clinton and her aides that limited their investigation. Read more…

Will the Islamic State be Destroyed or Self-Destruct?

A review and interview with Raphael Israeli, author of The Internationalization of ISIS

by Jerry Gordon (November 2016)

israeliisisThe US–led coalition launched a major campaign to reclaim Mosul on October 17, 2016 with 30,000 Iraqi national troops, Shi’ite militias and Kurdish Peshmerga forces, assisted by 5,000 US and foreign advisers with air and heavy artillery support. Mosul was conquered by rampaging fighters of the Islamic State in June 2014, when Iraqi national army forces fled, abandoning weapons, vehicles and equipment. The Islamic State enriched itself with hundreds of millions of dollars in plundered gold, foreign currency and property abandoned by nearly a million Sunni, Christian and Kurdish residents of this second largest and predominately Sunni city with a previous population of over 2 million. On June 29, 2014, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the charismatic self-styled leader ascended the rostrum of the central mosque in Mosul to declare an Islamic State or Caliphate under Shari’a Islamic Holy Law and himself as Caliph. The announcement was conveyed around the globe via social media websites and YouTube video encouraging the faithful to join in the Jihad extolled as a virtue of the Prophet Mohammed and his companions. Baghdadi implored the Muslim faithful to recognize the imperative “to rescue the caliphate from oblivion.” Through the various media both al-Baghdadi and his spokespersons extolled this message: Read more…

WHAT WILL REPLACE ISIS?

This is a war to determine whether the future will belong to the West or to Islam.

Daniel Greenfield, FPM

Before long the same administration that declared the fighting in Iraq over several times will claim victory over ISIS. The timetable for its push against the Islamic State appears to have less do with the victimized Christians and Yazidis who have been prevented from coming here as refugees in favor of Syrian Muslims than with the Clinton presidential campaign. Like Obama’s declarations that the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq were over, the announcement that ISIS has been defeated will be premature.

It is based on a profound misunderstanding and misreading of Islamic terrorism.

Putin: ‘Does Anyone Seriously Imagine Russia Can Somehow Influence the American People’s Choice?’

By Patrick Goodenough | October 28, 2016

(CNSNews.com) – Russian President Vladimir Putin charged Thursday that the “elite” in the U.S. were trying to divert voters’ attention away from acute problems like the national debt, gun violence and police shootings by accusing Russia of trying to influence the election.

“Does anyone seriously imagine that Russia can somehow influence the American people’s choice?” he asked during an address in Sochi. “America is not some kind of banana republic after all, but is a great power,” he added. “Do correct me if I am wrong.”

AG Loretta Lynch “Pleads the Fifth” on Iran Payoff!

By Jeff Dunitz, THE LID

“Pleading the Fifth” has become a kind of pop-culture reference with the rise in popularity of TV cop dramas.

We hear the phrase often in our popular media and we’ve come to believe it’s just something one says when facing down the authorities. However, it really isn’t that common of an event, and it can still be quite surprising when someone uses the phrase in a government hearing…

Especially when that someone is the Attorney General of the United States. Read more…

Clinton’s State Department: A RICO Enterprise

She appears to have used her official powers to do favors for major Clinton Foundation donors.

by ANDREW C. MCCARTHY, NATIONAL REVIEW,  October 29, 2016 4:00 AM

Felony mishandling of classified information, including our nation’s most closely guarded intelligence secrets; the misappropriation and destruction of tens of thousands of government records — these are serious criminal offenses. To this point, the Justice Department and FBI have found creative ways not to charge Hillary Clinton for them. Whether this will remain the case has yet to be seen. As we go to press, the stunning news has broken that the FBI’s investigation is being reopened. It appears, based on early reports, that in the course of examining communications devices in a separate “sexting” investigation of disgraced former congressman Anthony Weiner, the bureau stumbled on relevant e-mails — no doubt connected to Huma Abedin, Mr. Weiner’s wife and, more significantly, Mrs. Clinton’s closest confidant. According to the New York Times, the FBI has seized at least one electronic device belonging to Ms. Abedin as well. New e-mails, never before reviewed by the FBI, have been recovered. Read more…

This Jewish Grandmother Is Riding on the Trump Train

By Lynne Lechter, PHILADELPHIA EXPONENT

The popular dystopian series The Hunger Games contrasts the pampered, powdered denizens of the capital district of Panem with the hardscrabble, miserable lives of the inhabitants of the surrounding districts that the capital controls. It stands as an allegory of our current choices for president. Hillary Clinton is the ultimate capital insider, with rings of assistants who poll test her every rehearsed and guarded word. Donald Trump is the rough-at-the-edges outsider, whose speech is not well-oiled, fluid or nuanced. He identifies with the poor workers and strives to overthrow the corrupt, oppressive power of the capital.

Surging overseas investment in Israel defy global downtrend

By Yoram Ettinger
Straight from the Jerusalem Cloakroom #215, October 27, 2016

1. According to KPMG, one of the four largest global auditing firms, Israel has become a leading hothouse for FinTech companies. 9 out of 100 globally-promising FinTech companies are from Israel, an improvement from 8/100 in 2015. One of the Israeli companies, Payoneer digital payments company, raised $180MN on Oct. 6 in a round led by the Silicon Valley-based Technology Crossover Ventures and the Bala Cynwyd, PA-based Susquehanna Growth Equity (Globes Business Daily, Oct. 27, 2016).

Enacting Trump’s ‘Contract with the American Voter’ would revive a nation in decline.

By Deroy Murdock, NATIONAL REVIEW ONLINE

If Donald J. Trump becomes president, he barely will have time to attend his own inaugural parade. The Republican nominee promised voters in Gettysburg, Pa., Saturday that he would stay spectacularly busy on his first day in office.

As part of his Contract with the American Voter, Trump pledged to take 18 major steps on January 20, 2017. Most of these give center-right voters excellent reasons to support Trump at the polls.

Trump’s first six steps aim to “clean up the corruption and special-interest collusion in Washington, D.C.” Read more…

Sarah Palin to Stump for Trump from here on out

By Ted Belman

I have been waiting for this.

Sarah Palin Facebook post yesterday –

“Great day – returning home from early voting to see Todd, Trig & Tripp shooting pucks on our already-frozen lake; planning logistics to get back on the campaign trail for the last week of this imperative fight for our kids’ and grandkids’ future in the greatest country on God’s green earth!

This is huge. She has a huge following among Evangelicals, Catholics and women. She will definitely move the needle. She will influence many to vote.

Romney turned his back on her and he lost because millions of Evangelicals didn’t bother to vote.

Go Sarah Go.

INTO THE FRAY: Condell on Clinton

By MARTIN SHERMAN

By presenting the divide between Trump & the post-Obama surrogate, Clinton, as an “America vs Europe” one, Pat Condell understates the true nature of the dichotomy

It is unusual for American voters to get a real choice in a presidential election but this is a genuine fork in the road for America—and the world. It’s one direction or another from here.

Pat Condell, America’s Moment Of Truth, October 25, 2016

The upcoming US presidential election has been a topic I have tried to refrain from writing about. Indeed, I wished to avoid expressing any opinion of the depressing debacle of the US elections, consoling myself with the thought that, in comparison, Israeli politics look like a dignified exercise of the democratic process.

The Optimistic Outlook for Trump – A VERY BIG HILL TO CLIMB

BY JIM GERAGHTY, NATIONAL REVIEW

I’m accused of being a pessimist about Donald Trump’s chances on Election Day — accurately. But let’s take the optimistic outlook for once, and see how things look for the GOP nominee if he catches a lucky break and the ball bounces his way.

Give Trump all of the traditionally Republican Mountain West states, the Midwest, Texas, and everywhere in the South except North Carolina and Florida, which we’ll return to later. Trump’s lead in Georgia has been small but consistent. Assume Evan McMullin doesn’t win Utah. Assume Hillary doesn’t steal an electoral vote in Nebraska. Trump’s only led one of the three polls in Arizona this month, but let’s assume that state sticks with its traditional support for the GOP nominee.

Pollster Frank Luntz: Rubio would be up by eight points against Clinton

WHAT DO YOU THINK?

THE BLAZE

Republican pollster Frank Luntz said Wednesday that Florida Sen. Marco Rubio would be leading Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton by eight points if he was the Republican presidential nominee.

In addition, he told Yahoo Global News anchor Katie Couric that Ohio Gov. John Kasich, who battled for the GOP nomination during the primary season, would be besting Clinton by 12 points. He said Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, who also fought hard against Trump but ultimately endorsed him, would be “dead even” with the former secretary of state right now.
