Kennedy Hits Pause on COVID Vaccine Project Worth Hundreds of Millions

Peloni:  MAHA begins…

HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. issued a 90-day stop-work order on a contract with a biotech company until HHS determines whether it is “prudent and safe” to continue. The order came just as the next phase of the company’s clinical trial, involving 10,000 participants, was set to start on Monday.

Saudi Arabia, UAE demand Hamas disarmament – Egypt, Qatar oppose

Peloni:  The lack of consensus from this meeting between the parties will have important consequences, as Egypt will almost certainly fail to gain any endorsement if this does not change.  It is important to note that Egypt is now openly advocating for the persistence of Hamas after having aided in their massive arms buildup which led to October 7.  It is also important to see that the Saudi’s and Emerati’s are blocking Egypt, who only has the Wahabi Qatari’s backing them

Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates have conditioned their financial support for Gaza’s reconstruction on the disarmament of Hamas, while Egypt is proposing a compromise, and Qatar supports its inclusion.

Palestinians inspect the damage following an Israeli airstrike on the El-Remal aera in Gaza City on October 9, 2023. Israel continued to battle Hamas fighters on October 10 and massed tens of thousands of troops and heavy armour around the Gaza Strip after vowing a massive blow over the Palestinian militants’ surprise attack. Despite general agreement on Egypt’s plan for Gaza’s reconstruction, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates refuse to participate financially or practically unless it is guaranteed that Hamas will not be part of the governing body and will surrender its weapons. This has been revealed by Arab and American sources following high-level meetings in Riyadh over the past weekend. This dispute is also linked to the delay in releasing Palestinian prisoners as part of the hostage deal.

Hamas’ Sponsors Exposed | Iran, Qatar & the War Beyond Gaza

Peloni: Fascinating conversation between Eylon Levy and Mike Doran.  It is impossible to disagree with Doran on the need to prioritize the destruction of Iran and its proxies, but what remains obscure, to me at least, is his belief that Israel is damaging this effort to destroy Iran by calling for accountability for Qatar, Egypt and Turkey while doing so.  Is it truly necessary for Israel to accept these bad faith enemies as partners or face the loss of an opportunity to defeat Iran, even as the US is actually prioritizing negotiating with Iran instead of militarily defeating it?  Is it really impossible to chew gum and walk at the same time?  Wherein lies the conflict in treating the Qataris, for instance, as if they are subsidizing, motivating and harboring terrorists, because they are in fact doing all of this, even as they remain classified as a Major Non-Nato Ally, are protected by a US base of operations from which Qatar will not allow the US full freedom of action, and still harbor Hamas representatives in the life of luxury instead of at the end of a noose.  The problem is that the US, despite all  of this, does not hold influence over Qatar, but Qatar instead holds influence over the US.  What is more is that this Qatari influence is substantively relevant as the US considers how best to deal with the nuclear threat emanating from Iran.  But Doran seem to believe that the influence from Qatar is not relatively material in this context.

A deep state doesn’t get any deeper than this

Peloni:  Gadi Taub provides an encompassing review of the growing uncivil war which has been raging within Israel between the unelected (and unelectable) establishment class and the actually elected Israeli govt which has worked to undermine Israel in times of peace and war alike over the past many years.  Taub goes on to explain that Israel is teetering on the verge of successfully completing the current war, and if this is so, it will likely be followed by a crushing victory by the nationalist camp in the following election and the revelation of all that has taken form over the past many years to prevent such an outcome from coming to be.

Elections in Ukraine and Romania: There is no democracy

Peloni:   Don’t miss Mike Benz’ 30 min analysis on the importance of Romania’s role in the Ukraine war at the bottom.

Stephen Bryen | Weapons & Strategy | Feb 26, 2025

In 1864 Abraham Lincoln stood for reelection. He thought he might lose, mostly because the war was going badly, although the war started to turn in the Union’s favor as the election approached.

Lincoln was challenged by cashiered General George B. McClellan. Lincoln fired him after the 1862 midterm elections, mainly because McClellan refused to pursue Lee’s army after the Battle of Antietam.

Bibi Outsmarted The Deep State With This New Appointment

Peloni:  It is an incredibly important statement of Bibi’s growing strength and independence to be able to place a confident such as Dermer in this position, offering the elected political class some modicum of the power for which they were elected to wield. While this is only a first step, I agree with Avi that it is a pivotal step.

Israel Blockades Gaza?

By Walter E. Block
The Blockade of Toulon, 1810-14 (By Thomas Luny – collections.rmg.co.uk, Public Domain)

During World War II, England and Germany, in addition to bombing each other, also tried to starve out their enemy into submission via blockades. Why did the Germans use submarines at the beginning and all during this war? To reduce the amount of food and medicines that could be transported from the US to the UK. Why did the British, along with its allied partners, blockade Germany? For the very exact same reason: to bring that nation to its knees in the hope it would surrender. While we are on this topic, we can note that the United States imposed a blockade on Japan before this war even started, which undoubtedly was part of the reason for the hostility that arose between these two countries.

The Gordian Knot Between the Supreme Court and the New Israel Fund (Part 2)

Not for the Faint of Heart: The Gordian Knot Between the Supreme Court and the New Israel Fund

The depth of the connection between the Supreme Court and the New Israel Fund and its organizations at times reaches the level of a brothel. Here, I will present ‘samples’ of these connections (this post is a continuation of the post above ?, which is recommended to read first). Here they are:

General:
  • Former Deputy President, Justice Hanan Melcer, served as legal advisor for the Reform Movement, which is supported by (and to some extent controls) the New Israel Fund.

Time For Bibi To Decide

Peloni: Trump’s statement seems to remind me of a quote from Stonewall Jackson from before the outbreak of the American Civil War in which he stated, “The time for war has not yet come, but it will come, and that soon; and when it does come, my advice is to draw the sword and throw away the scabbard.” Yet, we are beyond the point of the outbreak of war, well beyond it, and despite this fact, the sword has been returned to its scabbard at the insistence of the incoming Trump administration. Now we are at the decisive point of Stage Two of the Surrender Deal, and the question remains whether or not Israel should continue to accept the surrender deal which was forced on her by the US, even after the US, itself, has conceded that the deal is untenable and should be undone. Doing so would be an egregious error characteristic of the Old Conception, which is why I am confident that Bibi will choose wisely and return to finish the war which was unfortunately interrupted.  Failing to do so would discredit him in every way possible, and this is not something which Bibi would likely accept, even if he were inclined to do so.

Searching for Condemnations in the Muslim World

Fake quotes from grand muftis condemning Hamas show just the opposite.

Daniel Greenfield | Feb 24, 2025

After Hamas paraded the coffins of 9-month-old Kfir and 4-year-old Ariel to the cheers and jeers of its supporters, before turning over the coffins, locked with keys that did not fit to Israel, people looked for something to restore their faith in the goodness of mankind in the Muslim world.

Millions thought they found it in fake quotes from the grand muftis of Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

Is the Dreyfus Affair happening all over again?

Cookie Schwaeber-Issan | All Isreal News | February 25, 2025

It was more than 120 years ago when a 35-year-old French artillery officer named Alfred Dreyfus was accused of treason “for communicating French military secrets to the German Embassy in Paris.” Sentenced to life imprisonment on Devil’s Island, he was forced to spend the next five years of his life under intolerable conditions.

Trump Cabinet Supports Israel, Condemns Iran, & Silent on Qatar

Peloni:  Yishai Fleisher details the strong support which was shown for Israel by many of Trump’s key appointees.  It is pivotal to recognize, however, that as Trump’s administration supports Israel and condemns Iran, it remains notably silent on any condemnation of Qatar, a fact which Fleisher does raise in regards to Rubio, but should be understood to be true of the entire administration.  Qatar is far too well considered by people who should have a far greater awareness, criticism and outrage of the role played by Qatar in keeping the hostages in Gaza, and this includes American citizens as well as those of Israel and many other nations.  The slaughter of October 7, and the subsequent murder of the hostages seized that day, which again include that of American citizens, are the work product of the terror subsidizing Qatar.  Hence, rather than including people with views and interests which are sympathetic to Qatar, Trump’s administration should have been staffed with those who would have recognized the corrupting power and influence which Qatar projects around the world and throughout the US, and the considerable danger this influence portends for America and American citizens.  The integration of Qatari supporters into the current administration will come to play a key conflict of interest for Trump’s administration, particularly as Trump is taking steps to fundamentally reshape the Middle East, which should be reshaped without the input and corruption of Qatar.  Qatar is not an asset to the US in this or any context, as it remains a mortal enemy of the US, Israel, and the entire Western world.
