Marxism isn’t a political or economic theory: it’s a conspiracy theory. As an understanding of human relations, it’s childish, but it’s an incredibly effective conspiracy theory because it offers a universally applicable framework for fostering resentments and weaponizing grievances.
Despite the fears of conservatives and the hopes of leftists, Marxism had only a limited impact on the European workers it had been designed to sway and appealed far more to the children of the bourgeoisie who had developed it and ached for the destruction of their way of life, it had its most devastating impacts in non-western societies and among non-westerners in the West.

Not surprisingly, Israelis and Americans are facing crucial Fall elections. In the United States citizens will vote for Congress and the Senate. Conservatives fear that the Democrats may take both houses. If they do, then they will try to impeach President Trump and they will do everything possible to weaken the alliance with that other Biblically inspired exceptional democracy, Israel.

With Israel approaching the three-year mark in the campaign sometimes dubbed the “seven-front war,” security leadership and experts are increasingly divided over how to evaluate Israel’s actions and the country’s overall security outlook.
Peloni: Attacks on US forces in Jordan, US assets in Egypt, and on Israeli forces in South Lebanon. The temporary holding patter in which Trump is currently circling as he attempts to remake the international security structure of the region and the world is having a consequence. These incidental attacks are substantive in nature, and the threats being made in the same moment are not even as distant from the US, nor even from the US President as Iran has recently made clear. The time to deal with these matters has long past being urgent, as was made evident when Trump was forced to abandon his Qatari plane amid threats on his own person at the Istanbul NATO Summit. So we are all holding for this waiting pattern to be at an end. The initial timeline was to see it thru August, so perhaps we are close to seeing an end of what Trump himself today described as being “our turn to hit them”. Notably, Israel is being held in the same state of pause between responses, and like as not, it is Israel’s turn to hit back as well… and the Iranian Rial continues to plummet to a negative infinity…

Peloni: It has been six and a half years, and we are just now at a point that Anthony Fauci has lawyered up so as to escape having to explain the contradictory aspects of what he said and did publicly with what he said and did according to his own privately recorded personal diary. So, is there going to be any accountability? Is it really true that some crimes are just too big to prosecute, not in spite of it causing the death and illness of countless people, but because it caused the death and illness of countless people? Thanks to Israel’s Enlightened Left in 1993, who designed the disastrous Oslo Peace fiasco, one provision included welcoming into the country some 40,000 antisemites with blood on their hands, some of them Arab Christians but mostly barbaric Muslim terrorists of the Fatah cult-gang, and provided them with guns and ammunition in a massive experiment in behavior modification. Israel’s deep thinkers of the Left thought these criminals would become civilized officers-of-the-peace among their own and committed to peace with Israel.
Peloni: The paramilitary groups in Iraq must be dismantled. They serve as a critical base of operations from which Iran can strike across the region as demonstrated by the recent attacks which initiated the response described below. When or if this is accomplished, it would serve as a serious setback to Iranian power projection in the region, while also freeing its continued threats across Iraq as well. So the message that needs to be sent to Iran is that their power base in Iraq is at an end, but again, for this to take place, the US-Saudi air attack in Iraq will need a ground force to achieve this aim, and America is still one ground army short of having a ground army with which to support its interests in the region. It is noteworthy to recall, of course, that Iran has been steadily pummeling the Kurdish paramilitary groups in Iraq since the war began in February, so might this be a moment in which Trump drops his antagonism towards the Kurds to at least eliminate Iran’s continued leverage and power base in Iraq? Unfortunately, Trump’s deference to Turkey will likely still act as a decisive factor in the answer to this question being ‘no’.

Not for the first time, Israel is the favorite punching bag for left-wingers and the far right. We remember how good it was to be Jewish in the aftermath of WW2. It turns out that it was an aberration. Before the war antagonism against Jews was at a high point, with Americans of German descent at the forefront, especially the German American Bund. American and allied air defenses have performed impressively in the war with Iran. Batteries in Israel and across the Gulf have intercepted most of the ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones that Tehran has launched at them. Yet this tactical success conceals a strategic dead end. Last week, after 13 consecutive nights of American strikes, Washington suspended its escalation. It did so not because Iran relented or diplomacy advanced, but because the interceptors are running short. The defender, not the attacker, approached exhaustion first.

Peloni: The message to Trump is clear, Iran must be destroyed, but more relevant than this message being delivered to Trump from Netanyahu and Gen. Avivi, this message is being telegraphed to Trump by Iran itself, with every ceasefire violation, every drone attack on unarmed tanker, and every unprovoked missile barrage on US allied nations.
The ending message in this video is actually the more pivotal and vital message which must be shared, with Trump, fellow Israelis, Jews around the world and all of our allies and enemies alike. This war, like every previous war against Israel, and like every previous slaughter of Jews even prior to the reconstitution of the state of Israel, is motivated by Jewish presence in the land of our forefathers. It is our land. There can be no equivocation in making this message clear, and indeed, Avivi, with his calm, assertive manner, makes the point very well. We are not leaving our homeland, we are not dividing it, and we will fight to keep it. Making this the national strategy is how Jabotinsky’s Iron Wall can finally be established, and when it is, the Arabs will eventually come to recognize that our resolve is too great, and they will accommodate accordingly. While the pursuit of peace was once the pivot around which national strategy was structured, security suffered and the consequences of that misdirected policy led to October 7, and the mirage of Israel being weak and vulnerable. In place of this peace first strategy, security must be the passphrase of everyday going forward. If nations care to align their interests accordingly, that will be their choice, but such gambits must not be purchased at the cost of Israeli security interests.
