Peloni: When the only distinction between victory and defeat is how many fake ballots can be stuffed into the ballot box, without even the constraint that the stuffing stops on or even several days after election day, it would seem that the deciding factor of victory will be decided by  the candidate who is least affected by their role in such an absurdity as is being currently masked as an actual election.  The will of the people is not just being stolen in LA, but it has adopted an air of public mocking .  Justice and law enforcement may have never been so well displayed as lost in America, and it relates directly to the concept of consent of the governed.

Peloni:  This is an important report.  The single factor which keeps the Iranian regime in place is the lack of an armed/trained ground force in the region, ie boots on the ground to support the gains of the US-Israeli air campaign.  It is interesting that while reports of the Kurds fulfilling this role have been quashed by Washington against its own interests, the Iranians continue to target and bombard the Kurds with impunity and nearly a thousand attacks on the Kurds have taken place over the past three and a half months.  So, in accordance with what Yossi Baum’s sources are telling him, might Iran know something is possibly afoot in Erbil which will ultimately threaten the survival of the IRGC’s control over Iran?  To be certain, the foretold outcome here makes a great deal more sense as per American interests and it would reshape the region in a profoundly significant way in America’s favor, but in Israel’s favor as well.  With Iran coming to be allied with America and Israel, it would marginalize the dominance of both Turkey and Saudi Arabia in the region, all at once, but it would also create the stability necessary in the region to see the India–Middle East–Europe Economic Corridor.  Remember, if Trump can’t stabilize the region, the IMEC will fail and this is something on which both Bibi and Trump are both focused upon succeeding.

Peloni:  This is an important test for both the regime and the people.  As the regime has taken on a more aggressive and bold posture with its international opposition, the question remains if they will similarly respond to the renewed demonstration by its internal opposition.  Likewise, it remains to be seen how robust the public demonstration against the regime might come to be.  Right now it is a limited demonstration, which allows the regime the ability to steady their hand at the moment.  If the protests increase, particularly as the Americans are resuming their attacks, the Iranian regime will have an important question before it as to whether to let this internal threat grow or to enforce their dominance over the public.  If the latter tactic is chosen, it will provide Trump with a second chance to fulfill his commitment to the Iranian people and come to their aid, something which I suspect he will not easily fail to fulfill a second time.  So while these protests are still limited at the moment, they bear watching.

Peloni:  Something just changed.  Trump has thus far balanced all threats of destruction with a reference to the deal being close, imminent and maturing.  I am wondering if an American soldier might have been killed in Iran’s subsequent attacks on the US.  Whatever caused this change, it is a much more determined and uncompromising tone to what Trump has been employing over the past two months.  G_d willing, this is not another negotiating posture.

Peloni:  Take note of the fact that while Iran’s attacks targeting Israel’s northern communities and the American helicopter were both arbitrary in nature, the assaults being brought by both Israel and America are strategic and penalizing.  Israel targeted the Iranian oil infrastructure and Trump is targeting Iran’s gulf capabilities.  While Israel has been forced to halt their attack on Iran, Trump has now ordered at least three waves of attacks thus far on Iran’s Gulf assets which directly has a bearing on Iran’s ability to leverage its authority in enforcing its Gulf blockade.  Will Iran be capable of continuing its blockade after these attacks?  We will see.
