Paul Schnee: If this is true then President Trump has not only buckled and wasted our blood and treasure but also assured that the murderous regime in Iran will rise to fight another day and this time with its new nuclear weapons which Russia, China, Pakistan or North Korea will have helped it create.

With its determined messianic ideology and its calcified apocalyptic vision the Iranian regime is not deterred by the doctrine of Mutually Assured Destruction.

This means that having failed to eliminate the threat when we were so close to a brilliant victory the rest of us will forever be living at the pleasure of Iran for the sake of lower gas prices at the pump. What happened to, “Unconditional Surrender”?

In the meantime, the tormented Iranian people having been encouraged by President Trump to take back their country will continue to live in a despotic theocratic Islamic prison.

Peloni:  Read Victor Satya‘s latest insightful essay carefully and as you do, consider the path under which the Trump 20 Plan has drifted by gallops between pauses towards its current state of perversion and distorted reality.  The sad truth is that a pretense of equivalence began when a terror organization which self reported its crimes against humanity, morality and all decency was given the status of being a party in any negotiation towards its own dismemberment. The result of this is that ‘both sides’ are now to gradually move forward as if the slaughter of October 7 was a traffic accident between two parties rather than a carefully choreographed and executed slaughter of whole communities by the terrorists in Gaza against the Israelis in the Gaza envelop.  The Gaza war needs a victor, and if Israel is not allowed to gain the necessary victory in even disarming the belligerents in Gaza, the victory will clearly stand with Hamas in all ways that materially matter to them or to us.

Hamas has been formally presented with the latest disarmament proposal via international mediators in Cairo.  The latest drift from the orignal 36hr deadline set back in October 2025 includes provisions for armed groups in Gaza, including Hamas, to gradually surrender their weapons over several months. The plan originated from Pres. Trump’s Board of Peace, which of course was established to oversee postwar stabilization, something which is very far from the once stated Unconditional Surrender which Trump demanded from them last year.
