Occupation, Expansion, and Eternal War: Three Myths That Refuse to Survive Contact with History

Peloni:  The age of Jews partitioning their birthright in hopes of gaining peace, only to pay an ever rising butcher’s bill is at an end.  If the Arabs want peace, they will find that the land bazaar, gifting them with the means of establishing a forward base aimed at the destruction of the Jewish State, is permanently closed.  Bilateral relations, trade negotiations, and strategic defense interactions are possible, but further concessions of land is at a close.

Victor Satya

History tells a story the slogans never do, because facts are rarely as persuasive as familiar narratives.

For decades, Israel has been accused of three great crimes. It supposedly occupies because it cannot let go. It expands because it cannot stop. And it wages war because peace is somehow contrary to its nature.

In the first half of the video, Rabbi Pesach Wolicki contends that the real divide between Israeli political factions lies in their support for or against Netanyahu, but that the anti Zionist faction in Israel has been dwarfed, leaving only a debate over which policy decisions are wise or foolish among the Zionist parties.

Fifty Years, A Story in Four Chapters

By Ari Bussel

Translated by Peloni

Chapter 1 – June 30

My uncle was entrusted with many military secrets—some from his combat service over the decades, and some from his work in a unit that developed weapons. I remember one particularly closely guarded secret about which he waited 50 years so that he could tell it, identify it, acknowledge it (of course I do not know the details of the secret). When that period passed, my uncle was still here—and we are now celebrating his 91st birthday—but his memory is gone, and those things remain buried in the past, as though they had never been.

Trump Just Did The One Thing Iran Couldn’t Handle | Mordechai Kedar

Peloni:  Important video by Dr. Mordechai Kedar.  In the war between good and evil, Trump is being poorly informed of the nature of his adversary, as well as the context of the region, and in turn this is resulting in disappointing and dangerous outcomes for Americans and Israelis due to  these misconceptions.  Shame is rather meaningless commodity in the West, but in the Middle  East whole kingdoms rise and fall based on the servitude to the reverence and handling of shame.  So when Trump tolerates Iran’s attacks on his Arab allies to appease Iran, he seems oblivious to the fact that these actions threaten the stability of those allied regimes whose honor and familial reputations are being ignored.  The same dishonor which Trump has forced on his allies is now being applied to Iran, and this is something which has driven them to distraction.  List of major topics discussed by Kedar is below.  You won’t want to miss this.

When Omission Becomes Advocacy

Why the Canadian Museum for Human Rights is failing its own mission by presenting an incomplete history of the Israeli–Palestinian conflict.

Michel Benchimol | Jul 07, 2026

History Without Context Is Not History

The Canadian Museum for Human Rights was created to serve as a national institution grounded in truth, moral clarity, and historical integrity.

Its mandate is not merely to evoke empathy, but to educate—carefully, rigorously, and honestly—about the complexities of human suffering and the forces that shape it.

Iran opens a 3,000-km. front across the Gulf in bid to stretch US defenses – analysis

Update:  US military strikes now taking place in Iran.

Peloni:  As of 30 minutes before posting this article, the war continues on with Trump posting a photo of a B-1 Lancer and a B-2 Spirit, an obvious threat, the meaning of which is not yet clear.  It appears that the Iranians recieved the message as they are continuing to launch missiles on the Strait of Hormuz at this moment.

Renewed Iranian attacks on its neighbors stretch around 3,000km, expanding the battlefield, pursuing its goal of spreading the conflict as wide as possible.

The Changing Strategic Landscape

Peloni:  Avi Abelow perfectly describes where things stand and how they will likely proceed from here with the new outlook on Trumps efforts to continue his attempts at negotiations between rounds of war.  He also captures an accurate assessment of the political leadership in Israel going into new elections.  It is important to acknowledge that those men who are being considered to replace Bibi as PM each demonstrated aspects of strategic failure in the days, months and years which have past since October 7.  To be certain, Bibi failed to act to safeguard Gaza as Jewish lands, and that was an important setback not to be lightly dismissed.  Yet, as I have noted often, if it were not for Bibi having stood down the calls from those who pushed for Israel surrendering to Biden’s policy of “Don’t” among other issues, the position of the IDF today would not be in controlling 60-70% of Gaza, rather the IDF would be positioned outside of Gaza, or with at most a tiny fraction of it, with Hamas still being fed weapons from Egypt thru Rafah without any Israeli interference.

Senator Lindsey Graham is DEAD plus the chilling post on X he made just 5 days ago…

Peloni:  Sen. Lindsey Olin Graham (1955–2026) was an important voice among supporters of Israel and America Jews.  He provided an important voice against Islamists and Iran, and he held a senior position within the American Right which often enough gave his voice an import resonance with Trump.

There is a rumor being spread about Graham having been poisoned, but there is little beyond speculation to support this suspicion.  This being stated, the timing of Graham’s death in relation to the threat raised against him by the Iranians adds to this speculation, something which was echoed by Graham in a eerie post which Erin Molan describes in the video below.  While any conclusion of foul play at this point is entirely speculative, it is noteworthy that the Iranians were noted to have hatched a number of assassination plots against Trump (at least two in fact) and key members of his former administration, and one Iranian assassin, who now faces life in prison, was actually convicted this past March for trying to hire an undercover FBI agent to assassinate Trump.  This, along with the recent spate of public threats against Trump, various heads of state in the Middle East and Europe, along with Sen. Graham and others, all the more directs our attention to the fact that this regime is too radical, too dangerous, and too destabilizing to remain in place.  Sen. Graham never lost sight of this fact, and worked to his final days to try to address it.

“I’ve never had this much fun in my life.”  – Lindsey Graham

Trump Wants Syria to ‘Fight Hezbollah’ in Lebanon

Peloni:  Trump remains fixated on improving Turkey’s position in the region by pressing Turkey’s proxy in Syria to do what it likely shouldn’t do, what Lebanon doesn’t want him to do, and what Israel can not afford for him to do – namely, invade Lebanon.

And both Israel and Lebanon are appalled. Trump sees Syrian leader Ahmed al-Sharaa as a “strong leader,” someone who can take on Hezbollah and deal better with it than Israel. That is not how either Beirut or Jerusalem sees things. More on Trump’s suggestion that Lebanon let Syria back in to crush Hezbollah can be found here: “Trump presses Syria to take on Hezbollah, raising alarm in both Lebanon and Israel, Associated Press, June 29, 2026:

NY Woman Meets Muslim Refugee at Anti-Israel Rally. Then He Beats Her to Death.

Board of Peace to establish ‘pilot zone’ for Gaza civilians, IDF claims 13 ceasefire violations June 30–July 9

Peloni:  These war refugees in Gaza should be sheltered elsewhere, not in Gaza.  The refusal to provide such an alternate safe space over the past 3 years to war refugees in a war zone only 25km at its widest margin demonstrates the continued commitment by the international community to further weaponize the population in Gaza against Israel.  The Gazans must be granted safe harbor, but not in Israel, not under the protection of the IDF.  There are only some two dozen Muslim nations.  Pick one, and leave them there.  Or choose from one of those nations in Europe which has demonstrated such an interest so far from their own shores.  The reality is that the psychopaths of Gaza were purposefully developed for a purpose which they are still intended to fulfill:  the slaughter of more Jews.  While this is the intent of the international community, it should be opposed by Israeli policies.  Open the doors and let the Gazans out!

Israeli forces operating in Tel Sultan, Gaza, early in the war between Israel and Hamas. (IDF)

On July 8, the US-led Board of Peace announced that it would soon establish a “pilot zone” in southern Gaza. Planned for Tel Sultan, near Rafah, the goal of the zone would be to move unarmed civilians who have been vetted for Hamas affiliations to the Israeli-controlled side of the Gaza Strip, separated by the Yellow Line. In the first portion of July, there was an increase in Israeli strikes and reported ceasefire violations as Hamas and other groups attempt to reconstitute forces in the area under Hamas control.
