Forging a National Security Agenda: An Open Letter to the President-Elect

Peloni:  Great advice for presidents and leaders of every age and every country.

By Lani Kass |

At noon on January 20, 2025, you will place your left hand on the Bible, raise your right hand, and “solemnly swear to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic, and to bear true faith and allegiance to the same.” The Constitution sets out, clearly and unambiguously, the priorities on which you must focus: “establish justice, ensure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity”—IN THAT ORDER.

Between now and Inauguration Day, you’ll be inundated with policy proposals, issue papers, and all manner of advice. Each will attempt to tell you WHAT to think and what to do, reflecting a variety of parochial and, often, conflicting agendas. This open letter, in contrast, offers a framework for HOW to think and HOW to act. It reflects the conviction that it’s high time to focus on character, values, and strategic coherence. It urges you to develop a clear intellectual roadmap for discharging the solemn responsibility of providing for America’s security and prosperity.

Almaala: The biggest strategic step in Jordan will begin

Abedalelah Almaala tweeted the following:

In a few days, the biggest strategic step in Jordan will begin, that King Abdullah II will step down from power and abdicate to his heir, Prince Hussein. The fifth Hashemite monarchy of the new King Hussein II will begin with the resignation speech of King Abdullah II in the coming days. Yesterday, the new Jordanian Senate convened urgently and the oath was taken, and it is a constitutional violation that the oath must be sworn after King Abdullah II’s speech at the opening of the new Jordanian National Assembly.

Deception 6: The Time Immemorial Deception

Peloni:  Here is the 6th installment of Joseph Shellim’s 12 Deceptions, an excerpt from his important work, Philistine-To-Palestine.  We are posting one Deception each week, and here the links to the previous installments:

Deception 1: The Name Deception

Deception 2: The Balfour Deception

Deception 3: The White Paper Deception

Deception 4: The Jordan Deception

Deception 5: The ‘West-Bank’ Deception

Joseph Shellim

Are Palestinians Native to Palestine?
Can two opposing people claim a ‘time immemorial’ nativity in the same land? Yes, but not at the  same time. To claim any such ancient nativity both party’s claims require evidencing, otherwise one is  a deception. Here, even belief and majority rule is insufficient as both are open to error and corruption.  A time immemorial premise can refer only to what evidential history says, and this can only be  measured via validated writings and archaeological imprints or an empirical means other than belief.

Rabbi Herzog: The surprise phase has begun. You will see what you never dreamed of.

Rabbi Jacob Herzog | October 29, 2024

The surprise phase has begun. You will see what you never dreamed of.

Jordan’s surprise first. Wait for a press statement from the King of Jordan, it will be a big shock. After that, a televised press statement from the official spokesman for the Jordanian army. Don’t try to guess or speculate. You will never know what is coming because it is completely unexpected.

Rumors of ceasefires: Should Israel accept being stopped in place for a 60-day halt?

Is it time to stop moving, or time for Israel’s strategic intrerests to invest in maxiumum movement, especially in Lebanon?

J.E. Dyer, a retired Naval Intelligence officer, blogs as The Optimistic ConservativeOctober 31, 2021

This will be posted in rough-and ready form rather than polished up to a shine, because it’s time to have The Talk.  The predicates are two sources of information and thought from the last few days; one a summary of the state of affairs by historian Benny Morris at Quillette, the other, news on a new proposal for a ceasefire in Lebanon.

Is This U.S. Official Behind the Israel-Iran Leaks? | FP LIVE

Peloni:  The source of the leaked intelligence should be seen as a feature rather than a bug in Washington’s policy staffing.  Indeed, the refusal of Washington to respond to reports of Tabatabai’s connections to Iran while she held such a clearly sensitive position in the Pentagon, must be considered in light of Washington’s attempt to maintain Malley in his position following a significant intelligence leak from Malley who brought Tabatabai into the govt to begin with.  With this in mind, it should be further appreciated that the questionable appointments to sensitive positions by such Iranian allied personalities such as Tabatabai and Malley are representative of the broader Washington employment roster, and as such, the leak could have come from any of the Iranian allied actors working within the anti-Israel corridors of Washington.  In fact, it would have been quite foolish for someone with Tabatabai’s notoriety to conduct the leak, as there are no doubt any number of less obvious candidates which might have been the source.

A Harris victory means a fourth Obama term

Peloni:  Obama’s policy was predicated on the notion that the US had more to gain from its enemies than it did from its ally in Israel.  Notably, this policy was unsupportable, inexplicable, and simply inaccurate.  It was also the only aspect of Obama’s foreign policy where perceived enemies were valued as greater than allies.  This is why tensions with both Russia and China have exacerbated in the same period in which tensions with Iran were moderated.  While there existed opportunities of negotiation with other adversaries, there has never been any such opportunity with Iran, whose entire regime is predicated upon the subjugation of the West and the annihilation of Israel and world Jewry.

Remembering what that means: Obama refused to recognize that Israel’s leaders might have a better grasp of the situation than he did. He also thought it wrong that they would prioritize their nation’s security. Op-ed.

“A Harris Victory Means a Fourth Obama Term,” proclaimed an editorial in The Wall Street Journal (WSJ), and “her foreign policy aides are on board for appeasing Iran and putting restraints on Israel.”

This is far from surprising, yet is instructive to examine how Obama viewed the Middle East and Iran.

Kamala’s Nazis

She’s complicit not with dead Nazis, but with live ones dedicated to killing Jews today.

By

I don’t understand how we got so toxic and just so divided and so bitter,” Barack Obama wondered at a Kamala rally in Wisconsin.

A day later the Kamala campaign began accusing Trump of being Hitler.

As October surprises go, a Democrat accusing a Republican of being Hitler is as surprising as pint size witches and ghosts showing up on your doorstep on October 31. Ever since FDR accused Wendel Wilkie of using “Hitler tactics” back during the 1940 election, calling your opponent Hitler has been a rite of passage since even before Joe Biden was born.

Dear Jews, we have failed miserably at teaching generations one of the most important lessons of the Holocaust

Peloni:  It seems impossible to contemplate that any Jew would vote for Kamala whose donors are specifically responsible for the financial support of the antisemitic rallies across the US, and which are left unopposed by the Kamala-Biden regime in Washington.  This reality seems rather relavant to Kamala’s desire to preserve Hamas and Hezbollah, even as Israel literally has brought these den’s of antisemitic iniquity to their knees.  The lack of self respect, self interest, and indeed self preservation demonstrated by American Jews in supporting the enemies of Jews in the US, around the world, and in the Jewish Homeland, provides antisemites, on both the Right and the Left, with a great opportunity to demonize, threaten, and assault Jews without consequence.  I hope the polls indicating the trends of continued Jewish nihilism in the US are unfounded, but then again, as Diane explains below, there is a great deal of history indicating that this trend is not terribly surprising, even as it remains terribly dangerous.

Diane Bederman | Nov. 1, 2024

Dear Jews, we have failed miserably at teaching generations one of the most important lessons of the Holocaust.

Somewhere along the way, we forgot to teach our children that a Jew is a Jew is a Jew. From time immemorial, there have been all kinds of Jews. Especially after the Enlightenment when Napoleon gave Jews their freedom from the ghettos. He declared France the homeland of the Jews, after it became obvious he could not establish their national home in Palestine.  He was one of the people most responsible for their transition from enduring medieval restrictions inside ghettos to becoming citizens of modern nation states.

Candace Owens, Dyed-In-The-Wool Antisemite, Barred From Entering Australia

Peloni:  It was quite heartening to hear that Australia refused to offer Owens a venue from which to spread her unhinged Jew Hatred.  Public and official opposition to such Jew-baiting has become ever more important in an age marked by public and governmental expressions of Jew Hatred around the world.  From the condemnations of Israel’s continued existence to condoned violence against Jews at universities around the world, it would be a welcomed sight to see a policy of intolerance as expressed by Australia towards the renewed Jew Hatred being promoted around the world.  Til then, I can only offer my every praise and strong support for Australia in setting a mark for others to follow.

By

Candace Owens is an obsessive antisemite, on a par with Roger Waters, who describes her animus toward Jews as merely the result of her justified anguish over the terrible things Israel has been doing, she claims, in Gaza. It is hard to see how what goes on in Gaza leads to the conclusion that all those stories about Dr. Mengele’s medical experiments at Auschwitz must be false, or that stories about the Holocaust are greatly exaggerated, or why the war in Gaza could lead Ms. Owens to conclude that a “Zionist media empire” controls so much of what we read or hear — in which case, how is it that we read and hear so much by Candace Owens? Why hasn’t that “Zionist media empire” managed to silence her?

APOLOGIST FOR ANTI-ZIONISM IS TEACHING ABOUT ANTI-ZIONISM

By Moshe Phillips

A professor who says anti-Zionism is not necessarily antisemitic has been hired by a prominent New York City synagogue to teach a course on the question of whether or not anti-Zionism is antisemitic. Talk about getting the wrong guy for a job!

The biased lecturer in question is Dr. David E. Kaufman, who for many years taught at the Los Angeles branch of Reform Judaism’s Hebrew Union College.

His latest gig is teaching a course for Temple Emanu-El, in Manhattan. The six-part series started on October 29th and is called “Antisemitism, Zionism, and Anti-Zionism.” According to the official description, its focus is on “the question of whether anti-Zionism is inherently antisemitic.”

What to Look For – Ballot vs Votes Iteration 4.0

Sundance | October 31, 2024

It is not my intention to provide black pills. However, we discuss events through the prism of what exists, what we can see and track, rather than what we pretend might be in place.  Thus, today CTH fires a signal flare drawing attention away from precinct voting polling places, and toward tabulation centers.

There is some alarming evidence beginning to surface pointing toward a shift in the USA election process, specifically the fundamentally changed process that now exists behind absentee balloting.

While Israel fights Hamas, the ummah fights Israel

Bullets and bombs are for battlefields, but when Israel is up against the entire ummah, that dimension is absent from her warmaking. Israel will win this war, but the cost will prove needlessly high. It is a religious war, jihad, in which the role of states is subordinate.

ANJULI PANDAVAR

“Israel has shown its true face to the whole world, and people have seen the savageness. They are savages with what they are doing, their killing. They enjoy destroying the water tanks or whatever. What is the joy in destroying a water tank that would support people to drink? So they do it willingly and they laugh about it. Leave aside killing thousands of children.” — Dr Tareq Al-Suwaidan.

If anyone knows one thing about NATO, it is that it has a doctrine of an attack on one is an attack on all, the famous Article 5. This keeps even the smallest and weakest members of NATO safe from predatory powers that might attack them. Islam has its own Article 5 doctrine: Muslims are friends and helpers only amongst themselves, never to others; Muslims never rat on Muslims, even under oath; Muslims come to the aid of Muslims; and Muslims are, by definition, permanently at war with “those who believe not in Allah”. In other words, the Islamic Article 5 works at the level of the individual Muslim, more so than at the level of a state. That is the doctrine.
