THE WASHINGTON POST REANIMATES ANTISEMITISM

BY: SEAN DURNS | CAMERA | May 21, 2024

One of the central tenets of antisemitism is the idea that Jews are responsible for all the evil in the world. Der Sturmer, the Nazi Party rag, summed this idea up: “the Jews are our misfortune.” Today that idea has been revamped for a more liberal era and more polite company. Now it is the Jewish state that is responsible for all the world’s ills. And the Washington Post, once a bastion of liberal thought and investigative journalism, is here to tell you why.

The lack of democracy in the Middle East? Well, that problem can be laid at the footsteps of the Jewish state and the United States, according to Post columnist Shadi Hamid (“How Israel and the United States suppress democracy in the Middle East,” May 13, 2024). The United States supports “repressive regimes, backed and armed with billions of dollars of U.S. economic and military aid.” Why do they do this? For Israel (of course).

Exclusive: Putin wants Ukraine ceasefire on current frontlines

Peloni:  The Ukrainian people should be offered the opportunity to accept or reject the Russian peace offer.  They could hold a public referendum or do something even more responsible like holding the presidential elections which the tyrant Zelensky has cancelled til the war is ended, even as he is actively taking steps to prevent the war from ending.  Of course, pursuing either of these steps would presume that the people rather than the ruling tyrant should make such choices, and no self respecting despot would stoop so low as to enquire or be concerned with what the people actually want.  Given the fact that the Ukrainian people have twice elected candidates in the post Maidan period based upon their claimed support of peace, it seems unfortunate that they will not be offered the opportunity to choose peace again.

By Guy Faulconbridge and Andrew Osborn | Reuters | May 25, 2024

MOSCOW/LONDON, May 24 (Reuters) – Russian President Vladimir Putin is ready to halt the war in Ukraine with a negotiated ceasefire that recognizes the current battlefield lines, four Russian sources told Reuters, saying he is prepared to fight on if Kyiv and the West do not respond.

Three of the sources, familiar with discussions in Putin’s entourage, said the veteran Russian leader had expressed frustration to a small group of advisers about what he views as Western-backed attempts to stymie negotiations and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy’s decision to rule out talks.

The Egypt-Hamas question

Peloni:  It does seem that Egypt does not fear Hamas as has been claimed, so much as it fears the elimination of Hamas.  In fact, Sisi’s decided pronouncement that Hamas must be preserved demonstrates even greater clarity of their opposing position to Israel in this war, even more so than did their facilitating the transfer of thousands of rockets to Hamas.

Some of you may wonder, “How can an Egyptian writer write this article?” I say, being a man advocating peace, I dream of the entire Middle East region being peaceful, and I know what’s going on like the back of my hand.

By  Mohamed Saad Khiralla | Israel Hayom | May 16, 2024

Before the terrorist events carried out by Hamas on October 7, Egypt’s economic situation was extremely deteriorated, unlike anything seen before. But now, things have changed drastically. It may seem puzzling to some, but with a simple review, anyone interested will immediately discover the vast difference and the massive influx of billions of dollars that entered the “Republic of the Military” treasury in Egypt after the war in Gaza several months later.

The Egyptian regime aided Hamas by the smuggling of weapons and equipment through tunnels (denying it is childish). Many Israeli newspapers and opinion writers have discussed this support, which was openly acknowledged by President Hosni Mubarak several times during his tenure, most notably in February 2009 during the police holiday, stating, “The smuggling of weapons and goods is a result of the siege,” emphasizing that, “the Israeli-American agreement to monitor weapon smuggling does not concern us at all.” The quote ends here.

Smotrich Makes a Stand on Military

Peloni:  It is important to balance the needs of the moment against the needs of the future, but as has been demonstrated in this war on many fronts, and is evident from the war in Ukraine, the future of the IDF must include an emphasis on missile and drone programs.  Hence, the decision to purchase another squadron of the US dependent F35’s only served to re-entrench the military dependency upon the American MIC, just when Israel’s focus should be shifting away from  America and towards expanding domestic development of missile and drone programs.  Also, the schemes of contracting less than essential purchases first as described by Smotrich is something which should be an obvious point of correction for any manager, and it is both right and proper, indeed it is essential, that Smotrich should challenge the responsible parties to maximize act with appropriate husbandry of the state’s assets.  The failure to address the follies which led to October 7 in the past many months has preserved a significant liability against the war effort and which must reasonably be addressed as the state’s budget is expensed in this war.  Consequently, establishing a public committee to examine these issues, with full transparency, would seem to be both a necessary and responsible requirement to address these issues.

Min. Bezalel Smotrich | X | May 24, 2024

I will not be a partner in building the next concept!

The Israeli economy is strong and with God’s help this war will also be successful. But this war costs a lot of money. An order of magnitude of at least 250 billion NIS. And this money, which our children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren will pay with interest, comes at the expense of other things for the citizens of Israel. At the expense of education and health and welfare and absorption and culture and transportation and more. And my duty as Minister of Finance is to make sure that this money also Managed efficiently and frugally and not wastefully and also invested correctly to buy maximum security for the citizens of Israel.

“Deadly force”

E. Rowell:  I watched this rally which was electrifying.  The last time a Republican campaigned in NYC was over 40 years ago when Reagan did.  What I saw:  Blacks cheering, Hispanics cheering, people of every ethnicity cheering for Trump.  The crowd was like every other Trump rally crowd:  loving him, loving his policies, loving how he expresses their frustrations about everything in our lives, and his willingness to turn around this sinking ship, which is straining under the weight of stinking corruption and rot throughout all our institutions.  He never once talked down.  He never once promised handouts.  He took responsibility to fix problems, describing previous problems that he fixed.  And he inspired!

By TIERNEY’S REAL NEWS    24 May 2024

It’s been confirmed that the Obama-Biden DOJ and FBI authorized deadly force against President Trump, his attorneys, guests and family at Mar-a-Lago when they “raided” it in August 2022 in order to seize documents they had planted one year before.

I believe they were hoping for resistance and literally wanted to have a pretext to assassinate President Trump and burn the place down. This is NO joke.

The End of a School Year Like No Other

E. Rowell:  While American Jewish University students were not in Israel during the 7th of October holocaust, they experienced what Jews in Nazi Germany began to experience before Jews were actually rounded up and imprisoned.   The subversion of American education over multiple generations since the late 1920’s and 1930’s is near complete.  Cultural Marxism has brought about division, polarization into oppressed vs. oppressor groups, and “cancellation” of the so-called oppressors:  Jews are to be shunned, humiliated socially, and made to feel unwelcome in society.  Both Hitler and Stalin would approve.

For Jewish American college students, last fall began with optimism: finding old friends on campus, new books stacked on dorm-room desks, curiosity about the semester to come.

But what followed the Hamas attacks of Oct. 7 crushed that optimistic spirit: Zionists are not welcome. Go back to Poland. Be grateful that I’m not just going out and murdering Zionists. Jewish students across the country were targeted and vilified; they lost friends; in some cases they were told by administrators that their safety could not be ensured.

Chinese Communist-Connected Orgs Crushing RNC Investment In Swing States

E. Rowell:  I have a question.  If this technology can make the difference between winning and losing, why isn’t the Trump team involved with this group? I had the same question about Kari Lake:  she, like the Trump team now, went with “voter integrity” groups, which the O4A group says has outdated technology and cannot find the ballot fraud that is being used to manipulate the counts on election night.  What is going on here?

As the video below shows, these Communist Chinese-connected orgs were active in the swing states in 2020 – admitting to sending thousands of people into Pennsylvania and Arizona to stop Trump.

Israel should stop being reasonable when dealing with Godzilla

E. Rowell:  It is not for nothing that the author uses a psychopathic predator as an example of a person toward whom one should feel no empathy.  Psychopaths do everything they can to make you think they are victims.  They tell you they were abused as children (which is usually completely untrue-they were pampered and enabled).  They play the victim card every time they are caught.  Anyone who empathizes with a psychopath gets destroyed by them.  Are you listening, members of the “never-Netanyahu” Israeli Left?

With Hamas, Islamic Jihad, the ICC, rampant antisemitism and unreliable allies like the USA lurking in the foreground, Israel had better stand up and do what is best for its survival. Opinion.

By Marc Doyon, INN   23 May 2024

The problem with what is happening lately is that Israel is back at being ‘reasonable’. All that is needed for her to take another step towards self-annihilation is to consent to an appealing unrealistic theory well written on a piece of paper. That was the case for Oslo and now for ‘The Day After’ the Gaza war. Read more…

Hamas Has Stolen $500 Million From Gaza Aid Since October 7

Despite the ongoing conflict, Israel has repeatedly stressed that “there are no limits on the amount of humanitarian aid that can enter Gaza.”

The Hamas terrorist organization has profited at least $500 million off humanitarian aid coming into the Gaza Strip since the start of the war on Oct. 7, according to a report that aired on Israel’s Channel 12 last week.

Veteran analyst Ehud Yaari, a fellow at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, told the broadcaster on Thursday that, according to a calculation he made with “a friend—I don’t know if I’m allowed to mention his name,” Hamas earned “no less” than half a billion dollars from the aid.

Is Nikki Haley a Candidate in the America First Mold?

T. Belman. When Trump had his great rally in the Bronx, he was asked if there was room in his administration for Nikki Haley. He replied in the affirmative.

By Janet Levy, AM THINKER Jan 27/24

Nikki Haley, who is opposing Donald Trump in the primaries for the Republican presidential candidate, has been described as a shape-shifter.

This is not without good reason.

Driven by ambition, she seems to have abandoned what the Republican Party stands for.  Her views on climate change, communist China, free speech, and illegal immigration are out of sync with GOP voters and conservative thinkers.  Besides, her wishy-washiness on the Great Reset, DEI/CRT, and gender fluidity raises doubts about her America First bona fides.

Israel Vows To Defy World Court’s Call To Halt Rafah Assault

No power on Earth will stop Israel from protecting its citizens and going after Hamas in Gaza,’ says Israeli gov spokesman

Free Beacon | May 24, 2024

THE HAGUE (Reuters) — Israel has vowed to defy a ruling from the top United Nations court that called on the Jewish state to halt its military assault on the Hamas-controlled southern Gaza city of Rafah.

Reading out the ruling by the International Court of Justice or World Court, the body’s president, Nawaf Salam, said the situation in the Palestinian enclave had deteriorated since the court last ordered Israel to take steps to improve it.

Egypt’s relationship with Hamas: What does history tell us? – analysis

October 7 deeply impacted Egypt, however, Cairo has not appeared to excoriate Hamas for the attack, leaving questions about how this all transpired.

By SETH J. FRANTZMAN | JPOST | May 21, 2024

As the IDF pushes deeper into Rafah they are finding tunnels and dismantling Hamas terrorist infrastructure. The offensive in Rafah was opposed by Egypt before it happened, however there have been less statements since it actually began. There remains a lack of clarity about Egypt’s overall position today and also what may have transpired in the years leading up to October 7.

It’s important to begin the process of understanding how Hamas became so powerful prior to the October 7 attack. How did it stockpile so many weapons? Where did the weapons come from? Hamas manufactures many types of rockets locally, but it also acquired RPGs and other types of systems that appear to have been trafficked from abroad.

The Ohio senator, rumored as a possible Trump running mate, asserts pro-Israel bona fides in front of an anti-Israel crowd

By a long time supporter.

This is important, surprising, and encouraging.

JD Vance is one of the more likely people that Trump would choose as VP running mate.

He is on record as being against spending money on the Ukraine war. He has not spoken much about his views on Israel and has generally been seen by Israel supporters as someone to be wary of.

Changing the Conversation

E. Rowell:  If you can bear to read or listen to a person in emotional pain, you will find that person is in a unique position to illuminate how one lives with grief, sadness, anger, while trying to keep hope alive.  Also we can learn about the strength that can come from deepening our connection to The Eternal One.  There are probably many similar conversations taking place amongst the people of  Israel.  It is important to honor each person struggling to come to grips with this personal and national devastation.

Millions of people have seen the video of Avinatan Or being taken hostage at the Nova Music Festival on October 7. The father and son Hamas rapists

E. Rowell:  Herein described are father and son psychopaths, living in a psychopathic community:  Gaza.  They are taught that murdering, butchering, raping, and torturing Jews brings them blessings.  These people are dead inside.  They are monsters who would continue behaving as they described if allowed out of custody.  For them the vilest act of savagery is no different from brushing their teeth.   The people of the world need a world safe from predatory monsters like this.  These are but two of the many disturbing criminal psychopaths who perpetrated the 7th of October.
