How America is using ex-IDF Chief Benny Gantz as its Trojan horse to impose U.S. demands—and ensure Israel’s defeat in Gaza

In the eyes of the Biden administration Hamas is the smaller problem. The bigger problem is Benjamin Netanyahu. The U.S. is willing to live with Iran’s proxies everywhere, as part of its “regional integration” policy—i.e., appeasing Iran. But they are unwilling to live with Benjamin Netanyahu’s coalition. The stubborn Netanyahu clearly does not want to learn from his would-be tutors like U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken how to “share the neighborhood” with genocidaires in Gaza, Judea and Samaria, Lebanon, and Tehran, whom his electorate understands to be bent on murdering them.

Israeli Flag Flies at the Rafah Crossing with Egypt

Peloni:  This moment has taken too long to become realized.  Let us pray that this victory is cemented with a vigilance and dedication to end the clandestine arms transfers into Gaza, and hopefully too, one day soon facilitate the free passage of Gazans out of Gaza.

A Palestinian State Will Lead To More Massacres, Final Nail in Coffin Torpedoing Biden Legacy

by Bassam Tawil, GATESTONE   •  May 7, 2024

  • If the Saudis were really interested in normalizing their relations with Israel, they could have done so long ago. Saudi Arabia’s de facto ruler, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, is delaying the move, in part, reportedly, out of fear of facing a backlash from his own people. He may, however, also have serious reservations that he would prefer not to talk about in public.
  • Like most Arabs, the Saudis could not care less about a Palestinian state and might secretly prefer not to have one at all. They are no doubt aware that the Palestinians themselves are the biggest obstacle to the establishment of a state of their own. During the past eight decades, they have acted as a serial wrecking ball to every peaceful place they set foot.

Genocide Enablers

Backing Hamas isn’t the first time the U.N. and ‘the international community’ have chosen the side of killers over their victims

By Ben Posner, THE DAILY SCROLL/THE BACK PAGES    6 May 2024

April 7, 2024, marked six months since the largest genocidal mass murder of Jews this century; it also was the 30th anniversary of the beginning of the Rwandan genocide. Of the various similarities any rational person can discern between the two crimes, one stands out in its repulsiveness: Just as it was a generation ago, the United Nations is perhaps the greatest facilitator of genocide on Earth.

A Polish Judge Defected To Belarus To Protest His Country’s US-Backed Warmongering Policies

By ANDREW KORYBKO’S NEWSLETTER    7 May 2024

The importance of his defection rests in the widespread attention that it generated in Polish society on the eve of what might soon be the commencement of a conventional NATO intervention in Ukraine.

Polish judge Tomasz Szmydt, who served at the Provincial Administrative Court in Warsaw and was the head of the legal department at the National Council of Judges, held a press conference in the Belarusian capital of Minsk on Monday where he arrived to ask for political asylum. BelTA’s Russian-language report that can be read here summarizes his main points, which will be reviewed in this piece for the reader’s convenience prior to being analyzed. Folks can also follow his regular updates on Telegram here.

This means war

Secret Students for Justice in Palestine documents reveal a domestic terrorist network bent on genocide.

Over the weekend, I read one of the most disturbing pieces of journalism I have ever encountered. Via her Substack, the intrepid Eve Barlow—one of the best pro-Israel journalists working today—revealed extensive documentation acquired by Israel War Room. According to Barlow, the Google Drive files in question belong to Carrie Zaremba, a spokesperson for National Students for Justice in Palestine.

SJP, of course, is the vanguard of the genocidal antisemites infesting American college campuses and perhaps the leading hate group in the country, with a membership and influence that far outstrips that of any white nationalist or neo-Nazi organization. But if the documents are genuine and Barlow’s report is accurate—and I have no reason to think they are not—then SJP and its affiliates are a great deal more than that.

If ‘never again is now,’ we must finish the mission in Gaza

We have severely compromised our autonomy and mobility due to our longtime dependence on others.

Both Israeli President Isaac Herzog and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke movingly and powerfully at the Yom Hashoah ceremony at Yad Vashem. Addressing the larger world in English, Netanyahu threw down the gauntlet, promising that if Israel has to act alone in Gaza, it will. Notably, he also said, “Never again is now.”

These were the words millions of Israelis have been waiting to hear and hope will be fulfilled. They are the antidote to the current situation in which we have either forgotten or been pressured to ignore what brought us to the first hostage release: unrelenting military pressure and success.

Son of Hamas founder: Hamas ceasefire proposal is a trap

Mosab Hassan Yousef, a former Hamas member turned informant, warns against Hamas’ ceasefire offer, advising Israel to demand hostages’ release before agreeing.

“Hamas’s last-minute ceasefire proposal is a trap,” declared Mosab Hassan Yousef on social media platform X.

The former Hamas terrorist, who later became an undercover agent for Israel’s Shin Bet, advised that Israel should not accept the ceasefire unless it includes the unconditional release of all hostages and the resignation of Hamas from power.

Ongoing Jihadist Infiltration into America

By Eileen F. Toplansky | American Thinker | May 6, 2024

Alleged pundits scratch their heads in puzzlement and ask: how did all these pro-Hamas outbursts suddenly appear on American universities?

They are, in fact, not some spontaneous eruption, but clearly the product of an ongoing jihadist campaign to infiltrate America’s school system.  Hamas leaders Yahya Sinwar, Ismail Haniyeh, Palestinian Authority president Mahmoud Abbas, and Yasser Arafat before them have for decades educated American universities to jihad.  Recent events attest to their disturbing success.

Rafah Invasion Begins After Bibi Ignores Biden’s Warnings

David Mark | Israel Unwired | May 6, 2024

Shortly after nightfall IDF ground forces crossed into Southern Gaza and advanced on Eastern Rafah while jets pummeled the city from overhead.

Since yesterday’s attack by Hamas on IDF positions in Kerem Shalom crossing killed four soldiers and blew up the faux hostage deal negotiations, Israel’s War Cabinet unanimously voted to push forward with a ground assault even after the US seemed to conspire with Hamas to create a new ceasefire deal. The surprise ground assault occurred 24 hours after Israel started warning residents of Rafah to evacuate.

Israel’s War Cabinet approves first phase of Rafah operation

After residents of southern most city in Strip told to evacuate to safe zones, ministers vote unanimously in favor of operation following Hamas deadly strike on Kerem Shalom crossing and failure of hostage release negotiations

Itamar Eichner, Einav Halabi | YNET | May 6, 2024

Israel’s War Cabinet approved on Sunday the launch of a military operation in Rafah, which began with the evacuation of Gazans from the eastern part of the city near the border with Israel earlier on Monday. Two incidents preceded the decision – Hamas’ insistence on ending the war and the deadly rocket attack on the Kerem Shalom crossing in which four soldiers were killed.

Despite the ongoing public threats, mainly from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Sunday marked the first time in the last four months — since an operation in Rafah was put on the agenda — that Netanyahu presented the first phase of the Rafah operation and demanded that War Cabinet ministers state their position on the matter. Ministers raised questions during the discussion, and eventually, one by one, decided to approve the operation’s first stage.

Senior Biden administration officials have been coordinating since at least early 2022 with an outside anti-Israel group to isolate Jewish Israelis living in the West Bank, internal government emails show. The previously unreported emails show top officials at both the State and Defense Departments fielding concerns from Democracy for the Arab World Now (DAWN), a human rights group that is highly critical of the Israeli government and has lobbied the Biden administration to cut off military aid to the Jewish state. Yom HaShoah: Comparing US protests against a real genocide in the 1940s with the parties on campus in 2024

By ELDER OF ZIYON    6 May 2024

Mass rally inside and outside Madison Square Garden against the Holocaust, July 31, 1944

The best evidence that even the college students who joined the anti-Israel encampments don’t really believe that there is a genocide in Gaza comes from the students themselves.
These camps were not places of anguish, but parties.

The End of Old Left-wing Mythologies

The one-eyed Jack American Left has been flipped over, and what turned up proved frightening.

By Victor Davis Hanson,    AMERICAN GREATNESS    6 May 2024

The current radical and often violent protests on mostly blue-state, supposedly elite campuses have exposed in toxic fashion what the left has become. And yet, in a paradoxical fashion, the campus insanity has offered the nation some moral clarity.

What’s surprising is not that the demonstrators are violent and nihilist, but that they are, on the one hand, so openly and crudely anti-Semitic, racist, and anti-American, and yet on the other hand, so passive-aggressive, narcissistic, and weepy.
