Recognition Hinged on Palestinian Elections. It Didn’t Happen. Why Trust Other PA Promises?
PELONI: The very notion that national leaders are disappointed by a terrorist regime failing to implement democratic and anti-terror reforms doesn’t pass the laugh test. NO ONE could argue that the efforts to reward the terrorist PA with the gifts of international recognition was acted upon in good faith, and even today, as Israel is facing illegal sanctions from the UK and elsewhere, where are the similar attempts by these terror seduced nations to apply similar standards of economic war on Abbas who is the real terrorist who has and continues to block any measure of peace in the region. It is not that the Peace Processors can not figure out how peace might be achieved, as if the art of conflict resolution is so mysteriously avoided by them that they routinely and repeatedly reward the party acting in bad faith and who is actively and unrepentantly violent, but that they also routinely and regularly penalize and critique the party which acts in good faith. The region is more unstable specifically due to the efforts of the Peace Processors, and that includes the role being played by Britain and its malefactor allies whose only interest is to pursue the long anticipated establishment of the means by which Israel might be destroyed. Well, we live in a new age. Despite the best efforts of these malicious states and their Peace Processing acolytes, there will be no creation of a second Muslim Palestinian state. Jordan is the Muslim portion of Palestine, and that alone is as much as will ever be parted from the lands which were originally intended for the Jewish people under the League of Nations for the Mandate of Palestine.

The geo-political folly of states that recognized a Palestinian state was put on display last week when the Palestinian Authority (PA) delayed elections and demonstrated why the commitments made in exchange for statehood were worthless. Western countries were fooled into giving diplomatic prizes to the Palestinians for free, and effectively damaged prospects for peace by failing to establish expectations of the PA as preconditions.
