Qatar Shake Up Al Jazeera
Peloni: This attempt to shade the true nature of Al Jazeera has all the markings of a rather obvious Hudna, one which even the most naive onlooker must grasp as being the most superficial attempt to mask Qatar’s mendacious promotion of anit-American, anti-Western and antisemitic propaganda. More than this, though, the quiet attempt to conduct this behind the scenes change in management demonstrates a sort of confession on behalf of both the US and Qatar as to Qatar’s role in the region, and yet, unlike the required management changes taking place at Al Jazeera, there is no equivalent management change being demanded in the Muslim Brotherhood aligned Qatar. Consider the parallel implication during WWII, if Goebbles was made to simply change his staff so that he might maintain his role as the post-war German communications czar, so to speak. A Hudna is a Hudna, and Qatar’s Al Jazeera reshuffle is clearly a Hudna.
