The first attempt the surviving rulers of the Islamic Republic of Iran made to replace their fallen supreme leader, the Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, didn’t quite go as planned. Fox News reported Tuesday that “Israeli forces struck an Iranian Supreme Council gathering on Tuesday as the group was meeting to choose a successor to the late Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.” According to Fox News’ Trey Yingst, “They just targeted the meeting in Tehran where what’s left of the leadership was gathering to choose a new Supreme Leader.”

Peloni:  THANK YOU PRESIDENT TRUMP!!  This statement has been long overdue, but Trump has finally laid down a line on which he stands on one side and Carlson stands far on the other.  Quite relevant to Trump’s statement, Prof. Jeffrey Lax released a statement a few hours prior to Trump’s interview, in which Lax lists many of the key players whose support for Carlson came from remaining silent or standing by him or fully endorsing Carlson’s antisemitic babble.  Trump has now spoken up.  It is time for the rest of these enablers of Carlson’s campaign of Jew Hatred to do the same.

Peloni:  Joan Swirskey‘s rotting fruit analogy is so well deserved by Carlson and his ilk.  It is a sad and terrible reality that the hatred of Jews being promoted by the fake Right Carlson, Owens, Kelly etc, contrasts sharply with great favor which the American Founding Fathers held for the Jewish people.  While the American Left have cast off these ties to the past, it was the American Right, ie the conservative MAGA movement, which saw its past as something worth savoring and restoring, which again contrasts sharply with the Jew Hatred inherent in so much of the Fake Right’s rhetoric, giving rise to the fact that these pro-Islamist, Iran-supporting, Jew haters have far more in common with Obama and his ilk than with Trump’s philosemitic MAGA movement.  Hence the truth is not so much that the fruit is rotten, but that it is laced with the same toxic focus inherent in what should be understood to divide the American Left from the American Right.  Indeed, the rotting fruit in Joan’s analogy represents the Obama-lyte faction which should be cut out of Trump’s party, very much like you would cast aside a rotting apple to define the limit of what is acceptable to a conservative pallet.  Or so I would suggest.

Plus what they will teach us about those who are still with us.

Paul Schnee:  In the report posted below Governor Gavin Newsom likened Israel to an apartheid state. Other than pandering to the woke militia of leftocrats in the Democrat Party it is difficult to understand why he would use the most easily refutable accusation against Israel to discredit America’s greatest ally and only democracy in the Middle East.

It’s almost as if he has never read anything about Israel or walked around wearing a blindfold when he visited there a week after October 7th. 2023. If he had removed his blindfold, he couldn’t have helped noticing that Israel’s two million Arab Palestinian citizens enjoy full civil liberties including free speech, Habeas Corpus and freedom of religion. Many serve in the IDF, in the judiciary, the police and as members of the Israeli parliament.

Peloni:  This report of a Kurdish ground incursion was initially sourced to Fox News, but in the hours which have passed since the report first became public, there is no clear evidence on the ground of an actual incursion taking theplace.  Furthermore, the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister of Iraqi Kurdistan has denied the accuracy of this report is accurate, despite the reports from US and Israeli sources.  So, with this in mind, was this an actual info op, intended to threaten the Iranian regime of the potential use of the Kurdish and other separatist groups in Iran so as to draw them to the negotiating table?  One consequence for all of this is that IRGC forces are currently targeting Kurdish  opposition strongholds, something which should not have been altogether unexpected following reports by Trump of having interest in using these opposition forces for the purpose described in the below report.
