Approximately 90% of the ocean is aphotic––without light––the midnight zone of the ocean where sunlight cannot penetrate and no photosynthesis can occur. So it is with child sex trafficking, a midnight zone where children are hidden in darkness and the traumatic abuse they suffer prevents their growth and development. The midnight zone is also aphonic––without sound––a place where these sex trafficked children are exploited and have no voice. So, what lives in the midnight zone? Apex predators like giant squid. Some have grown to 57-feet long with eight arms and eyes the size of basketballs.
The apex predators who sell and traffick children for sex are the giant squid of the midnight zone, their tentacles reach deep into American society to ensnare the children and collapse society from within. Peloni: The move by the international community to whimsically call into existence the state of Palestine, devoid of logistics, legality and logic, is only evidence of their further callous devotion to the policy of the Two State Solution, which was never intended to bring peace, but only to cripple, if not destroy, Israel. While the Arab Palestinian state exists in Jordan, it is interesting how little attention, truthfully none, is paid to the state of subjugation and penury which exists among the Palestinians living in their own state of Jordan, while the international community lies quiescent and complicit to the plight of misery under which the vestigial colonialist Hashemites keep their Palestinian subjects so badly subjugated. The only interest which the international community have ever had for the Palestinians is to weaponize them against Israel, which is again the only purpose in declaring a Palestinian state before forcing even the first reform upon the leadership ruling over the Palestinians, not in the PA, not in Gaza, and not even in Jordan. Never forget that Jordan is Palestine, even as the Jordanian Hashemite overlords have ripped citizenship from millions of Jordanians, and prevents them from entering the state which was created for the Arabs who lived under the Palestinian Mandate.

Before writing this post, I conducted a brief on-line search for the countries that have the most famine. Those that show up at the top of the list are places like Yemen, South Sudan, Haiti, the Congo, Chad and Somalia. Search for yourselves. Peloni: Trump must make the same threat made against Carney more broadly against England and France to end this.
Whether he does or does not, it should be made clear that there will be no return of the TSS, not now, not ever. Importantly, the recent move by the Knesset to pass a symbolic statement on extending sovereignty to Judea and Samaria makes this point clear. Steps must now be put into motion to end the farce of appeasing foreign nations. Israel must finally choose its own fate or face her fate being chosen by foreign interlocutors instead.
The time to act is now, the only question is whether the actions will be chosen by Israel or by her enemies.

The mainstream media mostly ignored what occurred at the UN this week, but it is a monster story. We are literally witnessing the biggest international push for recognition of a Palestinian state that we have ever witnessed. The “International Conference for the Peaceful Settlement of the Question of Palestine and the Implementation of the Two-State Solution” ended on Wednesday, and it produced a blueprint for peace in the Middle East called “the New York Declaration”. The following information about “the New York Declaration” comes from the official UN website…
Thankfully, our rootedness back in the Land of Israel gives us the strength to confront growing adversity.
It is increasingly difficult to look at a news site, paper or podcast and not be accosted with either anti-Semitic physical attacks or anti-Israel accusations about Gaza and the broader Middle East.
To hazard a guess, I suspect that much of the world would love to add a current catastrophe to the list of calamities that the Jewish people remember on Tisha B’Av. The specifics of that addition are not as important as the intent: as they say, it’s the thought that counts.
Peloni: Recall that the PA is an American equity, that they armed it, funded it, and trained it. It is time for them to completely repudiate it, outlaw it, and designate it as a terrorist entity, which it has been since its inception.

A few weeks ago, I was shocked when one of the daughters of a business colleague expressed deep concern for Greta [Thunberg], whom the State of Israel had allegedly “kidnapped” from the deck of a ship trying to break the blockade on Gaza and deliver much-needed supplies to the starving population. See the power that fairy tales have over American youth from good homes. That young girl and her sister even attend a school where the majority are Jewish.
Peloni: This threat by Trump must be made more broadly against England and France as well, if it is to have the weight needed to end this threat by the same internationalists who made October 7 a reality.

I woke to voice notes from Mazen, his Suwayda Druze dialect thick with tears.
“Jolani’s ISIS are massacring us,” he said, referring to the forces of Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa, formerly known as Jolani from his Al-Qaeda days. “Please talk to anyone you know in Washington to help us,” he pleaded.
Over the next five days, I exchanged information with Mazen, Muhannad, Makram, Gadeer, Shadi and other Druze in Syria, Lebanon and Israel, piecing together the unfolding horror. I was the only non-Druze in the group.
