Donald Trump 2022: Forged in a Crucible of White Hot Fire

By Vince Coyner, AM THINKER

I first started writing a blog in 2009, after Barack Obama’s election. My first post, America’s Original Sin, addressed the then-nascent movement to disparage and denigrate America because the Founding Fathers didn’t have the foresight in 1787 to write a constitution that would dovetail with the mores of 21st-century snowflakes.

The title of my blog, Imperfect America, is followed by a quote attributed to the French philosopher, Voltaire: “Perfect is the enemy of the good.” Our nation is a billboard-sized testament to that adage. Rarely have we seen perfect, but we frequently see good. And that’s the problem with leftists… They want to sacrifice good for the fiction of perfection.

Palestinian Rage Over Qatar’s Massive Spending On the World Cup

BY

Tiny but very rich Qatar has spent between $220 and $240 billion on hosting the World Cup, which it hopes will put it on the map, boost its image in the world, win friends and influence people. That “boost to its image” is clearly not going to happen. Instead, the world media have been full of criticism for Qatar’s bribery of FIFA officials in order to be awarded the 2020 venue to host the games, and full, too, of harrowing stories describing, and deploring, Qatar’s savage mistreatment of the tens of thousands of migrant workers from South Asia who were imported to build seven new stadiums, as well as roads, hotels, and a new airport. Some 6,500 of those workers died while working in Qatar, from overwork – 80-to-90 hours a weeks – and from extreme heat. Qatar’s bribery of FIFA officials, and its mistreatment of the 30,000 migrant workers who built the infrastructure, turn out to be the two main stories — other than the soccer matches themselves — that the world media has focussed on, much to Qatar’s chagrin.

The perils of Palestine

by Martin Sherman

“It is difficult to imagine any other issue for which the international media have been so successfully exploited—from the point of view of the Arabs—as has the Palestinian issue. Not since the time of Dr. Goebbels has there ever been a case in which continual repetition of a lie has borne such great fruits.” — Prof. Amnon Rubinstein, in “Palestinian Lies,” Haaretz, July 30, 1976.

Little analytical acumen is needed to grasp that a Palestinian state would be a multi-dimensional threat to Israel.

Support for a Palestinian state is driven either by malice or ignorance: Malice is expressed by the desire to undermine Israel’s national security and/or the personal safety of its citizens. Ignorance is reflected in a gross lack of knowledge and/or appreciation of the consequences that a Palestinian state would have for Israel.

Russia Risks Knockout Blow in War as Putin Hits Rock Bottom

T. Belman.  As you know, I am a firm believer in what Col Douglas MacGregor says about the war, namely that Ukraine doesn’t have a chance.  This article says otherwise. It was sent to me by Bear Klein who used to be a valued contributor here but left because he couldn’t abide by my pro-Russian stance.

So who is right?  Your comments would be appreciated.

The Daily Beast

SOUTHERN ENGLAND—After a string of Russian defeats in the war, U.K. Defence Secretary Ben Wallace is urging Ukraine to “keep up the pressure, keep up the momentum” and continue their rapid-fire attacks on Vladimir Putin’s forces through the winter months.

“Given the advantage the Ukrainians have in equipment training and quality of their personnel against the demoralized, poorly trained, poorly equipped Russians, it would be in the Ukraine’s interest to maintain momentum through the winter,” Wallace said. “They have 300,000 pieces of arctic warfare kit, from the international community”—a crucial requirement for any winter offensive.

The Abraham Accords enter a new era

In a recent series of meetings with think tank colleagues in the Arabian Gulf I discovered deep disquiet about the emerging Israeli government coalition.

By  David M. Weinberg, ISRAEL HAYOM

The many planned reforms of Israel’s incoming government in the security, defense, diplomatic, and religious arenas – of which I am mostly supportive – are going to create difficulties for Israel’s foreign relations.

Much already has been written about the concerns in Washington and in liberal Diaspora Jewish communities. It appears that Israel is under the microscope in Arab capitals too, specifically in the palaces of its new Abraham Accords partners.

VERY GOOD NEWS ISRAEL

VGNI

The Israeli technology detailed in this week’s positive newsletter gives us a taste of the future benefits for everyone.

In medicine, Israeli scientists have developed cancer-killing antibodies using computers; generated microscopic bubbles to make tumors explode; predicted and prevented future heart attacks; protected medical staff from future radiation damage, and so much more that will extend future human lifespans.

In the food industry, Israelis are answering the call to feed a hungry world by creating foods such as no-turkey turkey, no-cow yogurt, no-tree cocoa and vegan products to satisfy all tastes. Meanwhile, Israeli technology will keep fruit and vegetables fresh for weeks on supermarket shelves.

The Israeli innovations described in this newsletter will result in a future where carbon dioxide levels will be stabilized; offices will be heated and cooled by solar-powered windows; houses will be constructed of salt bricks; hospitals will receive urgent medical supplies by drones; and the elderly and infirm will ride around in vehicles without drivers;

In the 27th Nov 22 edition of Israel’s good news, the highlights include:

How Obama’s Big Economic Lie Caused Our Inflation Crisis

L. Goudsmit. Daniel Greenfield articulates the political equivalent of “The Emperor’s New Clothes.”

Obama’s big economic lie and political medicine’s big Covid lie, are no different from the big lie of the naked emperor’s “new” clothes. Selling big lies to the public requires “suspension of disbelief” in fiction, in real life it requires denial of objective reality. The child in Hans Christian Anderson’s tale is the only one who is not yet affected by group think, and fear of being left out. The child blurts out the objective reality that the emperor is naked!

In 21st-century America, the globalist social engineers are busy “transforming” education so children’s ability to reality test is destroyed. Soon there will be no one left to blurt out the objective reality that the emperor is naked, that you cannot spend your way out of inflation, and that the coronavirus is a bioweapon unleashed to launch globalism’s 4th industrial revolution. Globalism’s war on America is a war on humanity that targets the children because they are the future – everyone else is in the way.

If the globalists prevail, Hans Christian Anderson’s story will end with everyone believing the big lies and living in the insanity of subjective reality, where snow is black and nakedness is clothing.

By Daniel Greenfield, 26 Nov [2022]

Conspiracy theories and lies have a unique power to reshape the human mind. The things that we believe, even when we initially know that they’re a convenient rationalization, become a part of us. And eventually we come to build our entire worldview around a lie that we told long ago.

That’s the story of Russiagate, a bizarre conspiracy theory invented by the Clinton campaign and allies in the Obama administration that virtually every Democrat now believes is true. And it’s quite likely that Hillary Clinton, whose people made it up, also came to believe it’s true.

It’s also the story of the inflation crisis.

Gaslighting is no small matter.

By Linda Goudsmit

When politicized medical absurdities are accepted as medical science, atrocities are committed in the name of science. Changing the names of things does not change the objective reality of that thing, it changes the minds and hearts of individuals responding to that thing. So, when parents surrender their authority and common sense to the “experts,” and are convinced that biological sex is fluid and gender is a choice (absurdities), the parents commit atrocities against their children with the help of their doctors and therapists who are ideologues, not doctors or therapists.

Jordan’s King’s Son Endorses Islamic Radicals

By Mudar Adnan Zahran

On 18 November 2022, Jordan’s king’s son and Crown Prince, Hussein, paid a visit to the wake of Abdul Majeed Thunibat, former leader of the Jordanian Muslim Brotherhood.  The visit was highly publicized by the state-controlled Jordanian media. The story about the visit of condolences was a front page item in most Jordanian daily papers and on all Jordanian news sites.   The king and his son were flashing the said visit in everyone’s faces.

The significance of this visit is far beyond what meets the eyes of the average Western observers and the so-called “Middle East experts”.

To judge by the furious reactions to Qatar’s decision to ban the sale of alcoholic beverages at soccer stadiums, you’d think we were talking about another serious human rights violation.

Democracy? Women’s rights? Freedom of expression? The thousands of migrant construction workers who died in the run-up to the World Cup? All this pales in comparison to this Muslim country’s abomination in preventing hundreds of thousands of fans from enjoying soccer the way it’s supposed to be enjoyed.
