To Win the War of Independence, Israel Must Govern the Temple Mount

T. Belman. Mudar Zahran will withdraw the Jordan Wakf and give the Temple Mount back to Israel to manage.  He has suggested that Israel appoint its own Wakf from among Israeli Muslims who are loyal to Israel.

I have suggested that the Al Aksa Mosque be surrounded by a fence and that the Islamic holy site be limited to that enclosure. The rest of the Temple Mount will be declared a Jewish holy site which it is.

In the alternative, Israel and the Israel Wakf could administer it jointly.

by Alex Selsky, JNS   December 18, 2022

The great significance of the Temple Mount is beyond religious and historical. It is national. The Temple Mount is a source of strength and power.

It is also a symbol for the Palestinians and their supporters, who see themselves as its landlords, if only through the Jordanian Waqf. It is because of the symbolism of the Temple Mount that Palestinian rejectionists believe Israel is weak and temporary.

Peace between Jordan and Israel unraveling, report says

Findings indicate that Washington could be faced with a looming crisis in the Middle East that threatens to upset nearly 30 years of stability between the two former enemies.

By Adam Kredo, Washington Free Beacon

Israel’s decades-long peace with Jordan is unraveling, a development that threatens to upset a fragile regional stability that is being challenged by countries like Iran, Russia, and China, a think tank report warns.

“Since 2020, if not before then, the Jordanian peace has turned decidedly cold,” according to Jonathan Schanzer, a former terrorism finance analyst at the Treasury Department who now works at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies.

Trump calls Muslim migration “the all-time biggest Trojan Horse”.

By Ted Belman (Sept 16/16)

This transformation was not by chance but by design. All these countries were conquered by force then shorn of their wealth and many of their women. Then the Muslim conquerors introduced Sharia and continued fighting the local inhabitants. The inhabitants were either forced to convert or accorded Dhimmi status. As time went on all cultures submitted and eventually became Islamic.

England’s migrant transformation is even bigger than America’s

T. Belman.  In 2005, I wrote, Particularism Before Universalism, in which  I concluded:

“I submit that a nation has not only the inherent right of self defense when its national existence is threatened, but also when its cultural essence is at risk. Israel’s enemies deny it both rights. To assert these rights is not racism. Every nation has the right to determine who can immigrate, who can become citizens and what values in its society are inviolable.”

When their numbers are large enough the Muslims will seek to dominate and instill Islamic culture. They reject universalism.

In my article, Trump calls Muslim migration “the all-time biggest Trojan Horse”. I concluded:

“Jewish Americans are very supportive of allowing such numbers into the US. They argue either we have a duty to do so or that Jews should be more welcoming given the history of America banning Jewish immigration in the thirties and forties. But this analogy doesn’t hold up at all. Jews were no threat to Americans personally and to their values, whereas Muslims are both. Furthermore Muslims are very antisemitic and very anti-Israel. The Muslims have many other countries they could go to. The Jews had no other country willing to take them in.  Jews are, in effect, welcoming their enemies into the country.”

England, once the bastion of Western liberty, is rapidly becoming a Muslim-dominated nation, which bodes ill for all who live there. The seeds for this, believe it or not, began with America’s revolution when Parliament rejected inherent rights.

The Left presents: No to basic norms, yes to tarnishing Israel’s image

The outgoing government is mercilessly attacking the incoming one, further eroding the standing of right-wing lawmakers in the international media even before they get their ministerial portfolios.

Far from the spotlight, contrary to the prophecies of rage, the intended ministers of the “most right-wing government in the history of the State of Israel,” have launched a diplomatic outreach effort even before taking official office. Orit Strock met with the ambassador of Germany in Israel, Steffan Seibert. The ambassador also met with the incoming minister of finance, Bezalel Smotrich, who also spoke this week with American Jewish legal scholar Professor Alan Dershowitz.

  • The results of several public opinion polls, including the most recent one, demonstrate that Blinken and his team are either engaging in self-deception or simply fail to understand or see what most Palestinians want: Killing more Jews and the obliteration of Israel.
  • This is not the first poll to show that a majority of Palestinians oppose the “two-state solution.” That is because they are clamoring for a Palestinian state not alongside Israel, but instead of Israel.

The Light of Chanukah

L. Goudsmit. Daniel Greenfield’s extraordinary article is a history lesson that reminds us freedom is never free. One must be willing to fight to remain free from those who seek to enslave us. We must have courage and contempt of dangers if we are to recover our freedom. So it was then, and so it is today.

Judah the Maccabee also believed that fighting the good fight for freedom would award everlasting glory to the fighter. His call to arms for freedom was founded in his faith in Yahveh. I believe one must consider the billions of people around the world whose fight for freedom is not founded in Yahveh. The Christians, Buddhists, and Hindus also deserve to live free. So, what is the answer? For me it is the belief in freedom itself.

I believe in a variation on the theme of freedom, where individual rights and responsibilities are founded in laws that protect individuals and life in a society of ordered liberty. Differing cultures and religions that support the common purpose of freedom and ordered liberty are all welcome. To live together in peace in a world of variation, freedom is the common denominator that can support the variations. Binary societies of rulers and ruled are not welcome.

By Daniel Greenfield, 18 Dec

A candle is a brief flare of light. A wick dipped in oil burns and then goes out again. The light of Chanukah appears no different. Briefly there is light and warmth and then darkness again.

Chinese President Pleads for Saudi Rapprochement to Iran, Saudis Not Convinced

JaFaJ   December 12, 2022

1. Summary: JaFaJ has learned that Chinese President Xi Jinping has asked the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman (MBS) to consider reconciliation with Iran, noting that China could serve as a mediator. Nonetheless, MBS did not seem to be thrilled and requested evidence of Iran’s change in behavior. China has a lot of vested interest in Iran, with four undisclosed Chinese military locations in Iran, including a military base on Kish Island in the Persian Gulf and another one on the Island of Salkah. Salkah is situated near the United Arab Emirates. Hence, China’s recent warmth towards Arab Gulf states is a loss for the Iranian Government because enhanced ties between Beijing and Arab states may come at the expense of Iran’s growing ties with China.

Silver coins found near Temple Mount prove Jewish history of Israel

“This is the third coin of this type found in excavations in Jerusalem, and one of the few ever found in archeological excavations,” said the researchers.

A rare, half-shekel coin from the Great Revolt from 66 CE to 70 CE during the Second Temple period has been discovered in Jerusalem’s Ophel excavations south of the Temple Mount.

Only a few days ago, a wooden box containing 15 silver coins that serve as proof of the Hanukkah story of the Maccabees – which was found recently during an excavation in the Negev Desert – was announced.

Is population density a threat to Israel’s future?

T. Belman.  David Horovitz, the Editor of TOI, just wrote this editorial. Don’t mess with the Law of Return. The Right would like to remove the grandfather clause so only Halachic Jews have the right of return. What’s at stake is whether we let gentiles increase in number. No one mentions that Israel is heading for “extreme over-population… in the Jewish sector of the population!” For this reason alone , Israel should remove the grandfather clause.

“Israel will have the highest population density in the Western world.”  May 2017

By  November 18, 2018

Warnings of a demographic threat have been periodically issued in Israel in recent years. This time, however, the concerns are not of the risk of an Arab majority but rather, of extreme over-population… in the Jewish sector of the population!

How the IRS Helped CAIR Islamists Win Georgia Elections

Muslims now make up 10% of the Georgia Senate Democrat delegation.

In 2015, Ruwa Romman was enabling Oglethorpe University’s Students for Justice in Palestine to pass the first BDS resolution in the region. Around the same time the Jordanian immigrant began working with the Georgia Muslim Voter Project and became the communications director for the Georgia operation of the Council on American-Islamic Relations.

CAIR was named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the funding of Hamas. A year earlier an individual in Atlanta by the same name urged readers to “join the BDS movement” during the Hamas campaign against Israel caused by the Muslim Brotherhood terror group’s kidnapping and murder of three Israeli teenagers, including Naftali Fraenkel, an American citizen.

What Qatar Learned From Hitler’s Olympics

Deceit as a political weapon

Renowned soccer journalist Grant Wahl died last Friday in Qatar covering the World Cup. His agent told CBS News that Wahl had an “aggressive schedule” while in Qatar and his wife confirmed he died from a burst aorta. He had run afoul of the authoritarian regime for displaying pro-gay attire. (Photo: Grant Wahl IG)

The government of Qatar reportedly has been pressuring Hamas—which it finances— to refrain from launching rockets into Israel during the World Cup soccer matches presently underway in the Gulf state. Sound familiar?

The use of temporary deceit as a political weapon has a long and ignoble history. It originated with Grigory Alexandrovich Potemkin, a Russian cabinet minister who is said to have built fake villages—or deceptively redecorated existing ones—along the route traveled by Czarina Catherine II, during her visit to Crimea in 1787. As a result, Potemkin’s name has come to be associated with this particular kind of deceit.
