Israel and Indonesia? Expanding Abraham Accords to Asia

Can Israel and Indonesia normalize diplomatic relations? It would be an Asian game-changer.

When the presumptive next prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu reiterated his goal of expanding the Abraham Accords to include additional countries, speculation arose as to which Arab or Muslim state would be the next to normalize ties with Israel. Though unlikely to materialize soon, one particularly attractive candidate is located over 8,000 km. away in southeast Asia – Indonesia.

DeSantis Launches Full-Throttle Accountability Investigations into COVID Vaccines

This could become one of the biggest stories of 2023, even if the corporate media tries to hide it.

By  Dec 14/22

One of the greatest potential threats to public health to come from the COVID imbroglio has been the introduction and forced acceptance of the experimental, barely studied, first-time mRNA vaccine. Most places, not all, have grudgingly backed off the shot mandates, but Americans still have precious little information on the vaccines’ efficacy and dangers—except for the rapidly growing VAERS database of severe post-vaccine adverse events.

So now we finally have one major political leader willing to take the leap forward to launch a long-needed full-scale investigation using the powers of the state. No real surprise that it is Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

Why Oslo still rules (But not for long)

T. Belman.  This is very depressing. Glick concludes, “Oslo will only be finally laid to rest when we compel Israel’s permanent ruling class to abandon it in favor of Zionism – and the truth.” How in the hell do we do that?

NOTE: The upcoming government will do it.

Yitzhak Rabin and Shimon Peres were able to push ahead with the Oslo Accords because the media and the legal fraternity supported their efforts to demonize its opponents, portraying Zionists as “enemies of peace.”

Why Oslo still rules

Faisal Husseini, who held the Palestinian Authority’s Jerusalem portfolio, gave an interview shortly before his death in the summer of 2001 in which exposed the fraud at the heart of the Oslo process. Speaking with Al Araby newspaper, Husseini said that Yasser Arafat, his deputies and henchmen never saw the “peace process” as a way of achieving peace with Israel. Oslo for them was a means to advance their goal of destroying Israel, “from the river to the sea.”>

How transgender consumed women’s rights

Truly, the revolution eats its own

By MELANIE PHILLIPS

It is an astounding and tragic irony that, at the very moment women are fighting and dying for their rights in Iran, the free world seems to be busily trying not only to destroy the rights of women but also to destroy the very understanding of what a woman actually is.

In Iran, the death of a young woman in the custody of the sinister “morality police,” who had arrested her for allegedly wearing her hijab incorrectly, has sparked a three month uprising across the country intent on bringing the tyrannical Islamic regime down altogether.

Throughout the developing world, women are deprived of their rights by regimes that keep them subjected because they fear the potential power of women to bring down regimes that enslave everyone.

Israel’s Deep State clings to its power.

T. Belman.  Ben Gvir: The Attorney General’s job to is to advise, she cannot give me orders

“The Attorney General and her predecessors think that the politicians should make a pilgrimage to them and ask for their highness’s approval,” he said. “I’m not prepared for that, I’m not subordinate to the Attorney General, she advises. Does she want to advise me? Gladly. Does she want to give me instructions? Not on my watch. I was elected by the public.”

Ben Gvir: ‘The day camp for terrorists in jail has to stop’

“The ‘giving in’ to security prisoners’ demands by senior authorities in the defense establishment is disturbing and raises questions regarding Israel’s security situation. Giving in and showing weakness strengthens terror and encourages it. Only determination, standing strong against terror, and worsening the conditions in prisons, will bring deterrence. The summer camp for terrorists in the jails needs to stop.”

Following Wednesday’s heated discussion at the Committee to amend the Police Ordinance Law, designated National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir said in a private conversation, “The police force doesn’t want me to control its budget. I insist on controlling the budget to prevent waste on the commissioner’s part.”

According to a report in Israel Hayom, Ben Gvir added that he has been apprised of the details of the police budget. “The Commissioner demanded four Black Hawk helicopters, to be available for his personal use. With all due respect, there’s no need for it. He can travel by car; he doesn’t need a helicopter. And there are many other items that are simply wasteful. I prefer to use those funds to increase officers’ salaries and to fund new police stations.”

72 Percent of Palestinians Support Forming Armed Groups in West Bank, Poll Finds

T. Belman. The situation is volatile. Arutz Sheva reports, 428 weapons seized in police searches of Arab villages. TOI also reports on the poll in an article which provides more information. The war for Area C will definitely heat up. The object of the new government will not be to avoid conflict as in the past but to quash it and assert out power.

The History of the Media Intifada Against Israel

Historian Richard Landes’s new book shows how a war of lies and language endangers not only the Jewish state, but the West itself.

From the moment Yasser Arafat launched his long-planned second intifada against Israel in 2000, the most brazen lies about both Jews and Israel were relentlessly told and widely believed. For years, master propagandists in cyberspace, the Western media and academia managed to diabolically invert reality. The entire world believed an utterly false narrative.

Richard Landes’s new work Can the Whole World Be Wrong?: Lethal Journalism, Antisemitism and Global Jihad fearlessly, carefully, relentlessly and brilliantly documents this history.

Russia’s growing alliance with Iran is doubtful

By Ted Belman

On December 9th, US warns Russia is giving Iran ‘unprecedented military and technical support’.

That article was sub-titled “White House says Moscow moving toward full defense ‘partnership’ with Tehran, including air defense systems and fighter jets, in exchange for drones supplied for Ukraine war”

“In return, Russia is offering military and technical support to the Iranian regime, which will increase the risk it poses to our partners in the Middle East and to international security.”

But was it true or propaganda?

We are now living in the Age of the Institution.

Find out just what any people will quietly submit to, and you have found out the exact measure of injustice and wrong which will be imposed upon them, and these will continue till they are resisted with either words or blows, or with both.
—Frederick Douglass, “West India Emancipation” speech at Canandaigua, New York, Aug. 3, 1857.

Ben Gvir blasts the opposition: The people are tired of terrorism, violence and bullying

T. Belman. Public Security Minister Omer Barlev replied, “This is a bill whose essence is one thing – to harm the independence of the Israel Police and turn it into a tool to be used by politicians. It is not intended to correct, but rather to destroy the independence of the Israel Police and seriously damage Israeli democracy. This is a real coup. This law will turn the State of Israel into a police state.”

He could not be more wrong. The police are not the protector of democracy.  The Knesset is. The police must do what the government tells them to do.

Did you know that the Supreme Court held that Jews have the right to pray on the Temple Mount, if the police say its OK. The police said its too provocative and forbade Jewish Prayer. Ben Gvitr will instruct the police to let them pray there and to contain the violence it provokes. Case in point.

The Knesset plenum on Tuesday evening approved, in a preliminary reading, a bill submitted by MK Itamar Ben Gvir which aims to increase the powers granted to the Minister for National Security.

The proposal was supported by 62 Knesset members compared to 53 who voted against it, and it will be forwarded to the Knesset Regulatory Committee which will, in turn, determine the committee which will prepare the bill for its first reading.
