US prefers Arab extremists to Jewish ones in the Knesset

T. Belman. That’s because the US supports the TSS which is why they it supports a center-left government, There it swupports Ra’am and rejects Ben Gvir.

Many of those who cheered the inclusion of an Islamist in the last coalition now want Netanyahu to atone for considering having Itamar Ben-Gvir join his next cabinet.

By  Jonathan S. Tobin, ISRAEL HAYOM

One of the most prominent supporters of the State of Israel in the US Senate recently issued a warning to the leader of Israel’s largest party. In the context of the calendar, it seemed to represent the view of many other Americans who think that Benjamin Netanyahu – the Likud chairman hoping to add to his record as his country’s longest- serving prime minister after the Nov. 1 Knesset elections – has some atoning to do.

Prime Minister Yair Lapid rejected on Thursday Lebanon’s requested modifications to a proposed maritime border deal, according to a senior Israeli official. Contradicting earlier assertions by Western officials that Lebanon’s objections were minor, the official called Beirut’s demands “significant.”

The statement cast doubt on the viability of a deal that, only days ago, Israeli officials were speaking of as a foregone conclusion.

Qatar uses gas to export Islam to Europe

The price of gas from the Middle East is high – in the long term. Op-ed.

Oct 6, 2022,

“Gas as a holy war. Gas as a new fantasy of revenge on the West. It is the ‘gift of Allah’. There is a desire for conquest “. So writes with irony Kamel Daoud, the celebrated Algerian writer, in the French weekly Le Point.

Saudi Arabia (which is also financing the first mosque in Cuba at the moment) was the first stop on a recent tour of the German Chancellor Olaf Scholz which included the Emirates and Qatar.

T. Belman.  I didn’t know it was still in play.  This is an opening for the right.

National Unity party leader says his party is firmly against cancelling Disengagement Law despite previous positions of right-wing members.

National Unity party chairman Defense Minister Benny Gantz pledged: Defense Minister Benny Gantz pledged to not allow the return of Jews to the communities in Gaza and northern Samaria which were destroyed in the 2005 Disengagement despite the participation of right-wing members such as Gideon Sa’ar and Ze’ev Elkin in his party.

The conundrum of Western relations with Qatar

World cup sparks concerns from human rights, risks to foreigners and environmental impact.

Detained in Dubai   05 October 2022

Lille, Marseille, Bordeaux, Strasbourg, Reims, and now Paris are all banning so-called ‘fan zones’ from being organised in their cities that would allow residents to watch the World Cup on giant screens in public spaces; citing human rights and environmental objections to the sports event in Qatar. The cities’ mayors have stated that celebrating the World Cup in Doha would be nonsensical given reports that some 6,500 migrant workers died during construction of sporting venues, and considering the carbon footprint generated from hosting football matches in air-conditioned stadiums in the desert.

Here comes OPEC’s another oil strike on the West

Russia is expected to earn $321B from its energy exports in 2022 which is 1/3 higher than in 2021. This is more than enough to cover the costs to Russia of the war and to recover the $12B cost of the Nord Stream pipeline.

Is Canada On The Verge Of A Political Revolution?

BY TYLER DURDEN, ZERO HEDGE

Authored by Bruce Wilds via Advancing Time blog,

Canada like many other countries may be on the cusp of a political revolution. To the chagrin of the mainstream media in Canada, Pierre Poilievre has been elected the leader of Canada’s Conservative opposition party. As a result of his win, attacks on Poilievre have dramatically increased. He has been declared as “dangerous” and even reckless. In short, Canadian media is busy painting him as a mini Donald Trump.

by Uzay Bulut, GATESTONE   •  October 5, 2022

The Republic of Cyprus, 36% of which is illegally occupied by Turkey, is increasingly struggling with a massive wave of illegal migration from Turkey, the Middle East and Africa. • The Cypriot government says that Turkey is orchestrating this illegal immigration crisis, as most migrants coming to Cyprus travel from Turkey. They reportedly fly from Istanbul or Ankara to the Turkish-occupied north of Cyprus, are then smuggled to the free, southern part of the Republic of Cyprus, and from there, under EU law, can apply for asylum.

Brazil Election: Bolosaro v Lula

By Peg Tierney

Jair Bolsonaro – the conservative President of Brazil – is running for re-election against Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva – known as Lula – the former Communist President of Brazil who was charged with corruption and sent to prison. Lula is Obama’s pal.

The fake polls said Bolsonaro would lose to Lula by over 20 points. The crowds said otherwise. On the left are Lula’s supporters – on the right Bolsonaro’s supporters. It’s the difference between Biden & Trump without the circles!

The “big lie” will boomerang on the fake news – the table is being set and the hunters will become the hunted.

By Peg Tierney

As promised, President Trump has sued CNN in federal court for defamation, seeking $475 million in punitive damages for a “campaign of libel and slander” against him.

Trump said he will “also be commencing actions against other media outlets who have defamed me and defrauded the public regarding the overwhelming evidence of fraud throughout the 2020 Election” as well as taking legal action against the Pelosi-Cheney January 6th committee witch hunt.

The lawsuit claims that CNN “has sought to use its massive influence — purportedly as a ‘trusted’ news source — to defame the Plaintiff in the minds of its viewers and readers for the purpose of defeating him politically, culminating in CNN even claiming credit for ‘getting Trump out’ in the 2020 presidential election.”
