We’re witnessing a destructive political machine at work

By Terry Paulding, AM THINKER

I’m no political expert — merely an observer of life around me and an avid reader.  I’ve lived in California for well over 40 years, surviving quietly in an enclave of extreme leftist society.  It’s a sad thing that once-wonderful places to live have been so degraded.  We feel a force — a machine — pushing those changes, but we cannot see the machine itself.

I experience my community shrinking in on itself, as it’s overwhelmed by an ever-expanding lack of safety, increasing violence, rampant crime, homelessness, filth, drugs, and rotting infrastructure.  My little bedroom town has now installed license place readers at every entry, and the police blotter is filled with the resulting arrests.  Lots of entries say, “car left at high rate of speed, did not chase.”  This is what our world is coming to — unsafe schools included.  How is it that we allow such degradation of our quality of life?

In Jordan, the antisemitism is undisguised, and everywhere – Middle East News – Haaretz.com

T. Belman. I struggled with whether to publish this article or not. His views are based on the premise “The ongoing Israeli occupation of the Palestinian people remains an indefensible motivating factor for some Jordanian antisemitism.” They are not “Palestinian lands” but this is what the author and Haaretz preach.

He argues that many Jordanians are not antisemitic, so long as ” anti-Zionism per se is distinguished from antisemitism,”. Where do I begin?

By Avraham Spraragen, HAARETZ

As a lone Jew in Jordan, I am living through an endemic of Jordanian antisemitism.

According to the Anti-Defamation League’s “Index of Anti-Semitism,” 81 percent of Jordanian adults harbor antisemitic attitudes, including conspiracy theories about Jewish control of government, media and financial markets, among other tired antisemitic canards.

How Globalists Are Taking Over America, And What Can Be Done

By Roman Balmakov,  EPOCH TIMES

https://www.theepochtimes.com/death-of-the-american-middle-class-dream_4488393.html

FACTS MATTER

I sat down with Cheryl Chumley, author of “Police State USA” and “Lockdown: The Socialist Plan to Take Away Your Freedom,” to discuss the current state of affairs in the United States today. Chumley provides her view on how the country is on an increasingly slippery slope of the degradation of our God-given liberties as a result of lockdown orders. We discuss the breakdown of American exceptionalism and the decimation of the American middle class of small business owners.

I also get her take on the World Economic Forum and its role in ushering in the Great Reset, along with how that sits diametrically opposed to the American Dream. She provides her opinion on what this all means for the prospects of a “return to normalcy” here in America. We conclude our discussion with what Chumley sees as America’s only hope: a resurgence of faith-based principles in our younger generation to counter the growing threat of secularism for the battle for America’s soul.

The Real Purpose of the Iran Nuclear Deal

by Soeren Kern, GATESTONE  •  May 27, 2022

  • Many analysts argue that the nuclear deal — original and revised — is primarily about legitimizing Iran’s nuclear program. The deal, they say, is designed to strengthen, not weaken, the Islamic Republic.
  • Statements by Obama and his senior foreign policy advisors, the same people who are now advising President Biden, reflect a belief — a naïve one, many say — that if Iran were stronger, and traditional American allies — Israel, Saudi Arabia and Turkey — were weaker, the Middle East could achieve a new balance of power that would result in more peaceful region.

Jordan Has an Iran Problem. Can Israel and Saudi Arabia Unite to Combat It?

by Jonathan Schanzer, The Dispatch   May 27, 2022

In a conversation last week with former U.S. National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster, Jordan’s King Abdullah II expressed concerns that Iranian forces in Syria could soon destabilize his country. Russia may soon redeploy assets and forces from Syria to their mired war effort in Ukraine, and Iran seeks to fill the void.

The Jordanian monarch asserted, “That vacuum [left by the Russians] will be filled by the Iranians and their proxies. So unfortunately, we are looking at maybe an escalation of problems on our borders.”

ACLJ Obtains New Memo in State Department Lawsuit Unveiling

By Jordan Sekulow, ACLJ

GOVERNMENT CORRUPTION

The Boston Globe put it this way:  “Kerry is quietly seeking to salvage Iran deal he helped craft.”

The ACLJ put it a bit more bluntly: “John Kerry tried to undermine President Trump in order to support Iran, putting our national security at risk.”

The True Evil of the World Economic Forum

By J.B. Shurk, AM THINKER

Whenever I listen to Klaus Schwab and his Davos Death Cult buddies openly discuss their plans for world domination, I always think, “Are we really going to let another power-hungry German walk us into global conflagration?”  For a while there, I believed that Western allies had endured enough death and slaughter from the first two world wars to forge an informal understanding among themselves that uncontrolled German megalomania invariably leads to malignant outcomes for all.

Then came German reunification, and the nation’s inevitable economic dominance over all of Europe assured its status as the most powerful member of the European Union.  All that effort to constrain the German empire’s influence went up in smoke.  It turns out that it is far easier to conquer the European continent with flowery promises of “peace,” “economic integration,” and “international cooperation” than it is to send jackbooted shock troops marching past the Arc de Triomphe and down the Champs-Élysées.

Unpack Your Bags, Mr. President

By Shoshana Bryen,  JEWISH POLICY CENTER       • May 26, 2022 • Newsweek

U.S. President Joe Biden meets with Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett in the Oval Office at the White House on August 27, 2021 in Washington, D.C. (Photo: Getty)

President Joe Biden is planning a trip to Israel, with a possible visit to Saudi Arabia. In his bag is a nice hostess gift—American support for the restoration of Saudi control of two islands near the Gulf of Aqaba, which could help bring the Saudis into the Abraham Accords. A smaller gift for the Palestinian Authority (PA) is a potential visit to a Palestinian hospital on the eastern side of Jerusalem, implying a Palestinian role in Israel’s capital.

But there are times where the presence of the president of the United States can make things worse, not better—where American intervention makes things worse, not better. This is one of those times. As President Biden packs, he should re-evaluate a few of the fundamental tenets of his Middle East policy.

Britain’s betrayal of the sacred trust in Palestine,

T. Belman. Read this carefully. The author believes that the sacred trust involved self -determination of the Arabs. He offers very little to back it up.

There may have been talk about an Arab state but in no legal document, San Remo or the Mandate, was there any mention of it.

By Prof John Dugard, THE BALFOUR PROJECT July 8/13

British policy towards Palestine for the past 100 years has been informed by two narratives, two visions. The first is the vision of a Jewish state in Palestine, captured in the Balfour Declaration of 1917. The second is the vision of a democratic independent state in Palestine where human, political and religious freedoms were to prevail. This vision is captured in the “sacred trust” for Palestine accepted by Britain in 1920 in the [League of Nations] Mandate for Palestine.

As the International Court of Justice has stressed, the concept of sacred trust must be interpreted as requiring effect to be given to the principle of self-determination leading to independence.

Welcome to the totalitarians’ “New World Order”

This is Frank Gaffney with the Secure Freedom Minute.

The global governance crowd is on a roll in destroying the sovereignty of nations like ours and freedoms guaranteed by our Constitution. The Global Resetters and their Chinese Communist allies have recently revealed three initiatives designed to catalyze a New World Order.

First, with the Biden administration’s connivance, the World Health Organization is beavering away in Geneva on agreements that will empower its Chinese-appointed, Marxist director-general to dictate public health policies here and elsewhere.

INTO THE FRAY: The fatal flaw in Israeli strategic thinking

By Martin Sherman, IISS

One of the reasons that the conflict with the Palestinian-Arabs has dragged on for years, is that Israel has failed to conceptualize the conflict correctly. Failed comprehension has brought failed policy.

Poll: 23% of Arab Israelis would support Arab invasion in Israel– i24NEWS Headline, May 15, 2022.

Paradoxically, perhaps an incident that most vividly illustrates the indelible Arab enmity for the Jews is an event, which begins with a display of Arab goodwill—indeed, gallantry—towards a Jew.

Modest Warming in U.S. Views on Israel and Palestinians

Young Americans’ attitudes are as favorable toward the Palestinian people and government as toward Israel

WASHINGTON, D.C. (May 26, 2022) – In recent years, U.S. public opinion has become modestly more positive toward both sides in the Israel-Palestinian conflict, according to a new Pew Research Center survey.

Overall, Americans continue to express more positive feelings toward the Israeli people than toward the Palestinian people – and to rate the Israeli government more favorably than the Palestinian government.

Apartheid In Palestinian Authority, Not Israel

First.One.Through    May 26

The current smear against Israel being popularized by anti-Zionist organizations and people is that the country practices a form of apartheid. Specifically, they consider that Israel discriminates against and segregates its non-Jewish population.

Not only is the charge absurd, but it is a deliberate attempt to deflect the anti-Semitism and xenophobia of the Palestinian Arab population.

Israel hammers out deal to supply natural gas to Europe via Egypt

Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has emphasized to both Israel and Europe the importance of natural gas, even if only as a transitional energy source on the way to renewables.

For the past month Israel has been negotiating an agreement to sell natural gas to Europe via Egypt, Israel’s Energy Ministry revealed on Sunday.

The negotiations were spurred by a meeting between Energy Minister Karine Elharrar and European Commissioner for Energy Kadri Simson in Paris in late March, according to a ministry spokesman. The Europeans told the Israelis at the meeting that if they could not find alternatives, “they would return to coal mining, despite the great environmental damage caused by it,” the spokesman said.

Linda Goudsmit has done the research and knows exactly what’s bedeviling America

By Bruce Deitrick Price, AM THINKER

Bruce Deitrick Price: The big problem for all of us is to grasp the entirety of your work.  So my first question is, what is the broad concern that ties together all this research?

Linda Goudsmit: The most important thing is to realize that globalism is at war with the nation-state.  I am talking about globalism as an ideology and political force that seeks to reorder the world from the existing system of independent nation-states into one single global nation-state ruled by themselves, of course.  But globalism cannot succeed without collapsing the United States.  So we face an alliance of convenience among the far-left progressives, Deweyites, socialists, Marxists, doctrinaire communists, totalitarians — all advancing their own anti-American agendas in common cause.  If you oppose them, you are a threat who must be crushed.

Kissinger vs. Soros on Russia and Ukraine

T. Belman. According to the author, “Mr. Soros, much like the Biden administration, sees the dominant issue in world politics as a struggle between democracy and totalitarianism.” This virtue signalling has no basis in reality.  Neither Biden nor Soros believe in democracy, ergo the stolen election. Nor is the NWO which they support, democratic. In truth it is totalitarian. It purports to rule from the top down.

But at least, the author, recognizes reality.

The notable nonagenerians offer dueling visions of world order at the World Economic Forum.

By Walter Russell Mead, WSJ

Two American immigrants, both survivors of life under Nazi rule still making waves in their nineties, set the terms of debate at the World Economic Forum. Henry Kissinger, who celebrates his 99th birthday this week, made a virtual appearance to urge against attempts to defeat or marginalize Russia, calling on Ukraine to accept the territorial losses of 2014 to end the war. A few hours later, George Soros, in person at the forum at age 91, warned that victory in the war against Vladimir Putin’s Russia was necessary to “save civilization” and urged the West to provide Ukraine with everything it needs to prevail.
