Palestinians Lie to Murder Jews; U.S. Rewards Them

By Bassam Tawil, GATESTONE  •  May 11, 2022

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas has said that the Jews “have no right to defile with their filthy feet” the Aqsa Mosque and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. “We salute every drop of blood spilled for the sake of Jerusalem. This blood is clean, pure blood, shed for the sake of Allah, Allah willing. Every martyr will be placed in Paradise, and all the wounded will be rewarded by Allah.” Pictured: Abbas speaks on PA television, September 16, 2015. (Image source: MEMRI)

  • The terrorists and their families are saying that they actually believe the lies of the Palestinian leaders that the mosque is being attacked, violated and desecrated by Jews. They are saying that this is the reason they are sending Palestinians to murder Jews on the streets of Israeli cities.

Turkey: Freedom of Religion Only for Islam

The ideological refusal to recognize the freedom of speech of “kafirs” and “infidels.”

By Uzay Bulut, FPM   May 11/22

Turkey has long been heralded by the international media as a “secular” and “modern” country. But in reality, it is the absolute opposite. Non-Muslim communities – Christians, Jews, Alevis, Yazidis, agnostics, deists, atheists, and all others – are systematically victimized by discriminatory acts, including violations of their human rights, their convictions, their faith, and their freedom of speech.

Dismissing Reality

Deriding Mass Formation and Dismissing its Influence During a Global Crisis – is a Verification of the Phenomenon

By David Marks

Historians analyzing the Covid-19 pandemic will one day consider what was going on in the minds of those who supported a narrative that only served profits and power. Looking back, they will greatly appreciate the analysis of contemporary experts, particularly Mattias Desmet, a professor in the Department of Psychology and Educational Sciences at Ghent University in Belgium. He is recognized as a leading thinker in his field, and has written over one hundred peer-reviewed academic papers.

Fact Checking the Fact Checkers: Debunking AP’s ‘2000 Mules’ Hit Piece

By Jennifer Van Laar, RED STATE May 10, 2022

Many of us were alarmed on Election Night 2020 when, while the results were looking good for Donald Trump, multiple states suddenly stopped counting votes. As the night wore on and went into the next day, it seemed that every update was favorable for Biden until he was ultimately named President-Elect.

While Trump’s campaign repeatedly promised to “release the Kraken” and bring forward evidence of election fraud that would prove that the election was stolen, focusing on electronic voting machines, that evidence didn’t materialize. RedState’s Scott Hounsell pointed out various states and cities – even down to the precincts – that should be investigated, and that information was given to the Trump campaign to no avail.

The disgraceful politicization of Jewish institutions

By refusing to allow a conference to be held in their building where Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis was a speaker, New York’s Museum of Jewish Heritage declared itself a partisan institution

By  Jonathan S. Tobin, TOI

At a time when partisan divisions are at an all-time high, there aren’t many places that are politics-free zones anymore. Many, if not most, of our cultural institutions and media outlets have lined up on one side or the other. That is just as true, if not truer, of the American Jewish world since the vast majority of Jews identify as politically liberal with a large plurality being among the most loyal and determinedly partisan supporters of the Democratic Party.

Poll: 75% of Arab citizens believe Jews have no right to sovereignty in Israel

T. Belman. The numbers are disturbing. The focus of this poll was what to do to quell the violence. I believe we should look at the cause of the problem.  The number one cause is that the Arab press, Arab curriculum and Imams are given too much latitude. Free speech must be curtailed because it is exercised in the service of propaganda with a seditious intent.

Israel must take greater control of the curriculum taught in Arab schools and should even require a much higher percentage of Jewish teachers to be employed there, perhaps 80% of them should be Jewish.  If that means that 20% of the teachers in non-Arab schools should be Arab, OK. Secondly the Arab narrative must be banned just as Holocaust denial is banned. Incitement by Arab leaders or Imams must be made criminal with big fines and jail terms. And all rioters should beconvicted and all felons should not be allowed into Israel to work.  And talk of a Naqba must be penalized.

Israel is governing like it is a bi-national state.  The Arabs are given too much autonomy  and are allowed to think they are a state within a state. And I haven’t even started on how the PA and Hamas should be curtailed.

Arab Israelis are constantly conflicted by questions of political and national loyalty, and the majority of them have little faith in Israel’s law enforcement agencies, a study by defense-oriented NGO Habithonistim shows.

Arab Israelis are constantly conflicted by questions of political and national loyalty, as the majority of them have little faith in Israel’s law enforcement agencies, a survey by Habithonistim–Protectors of Israel, a movement of Israeli defense officials advocating for Israel’s future security needs, revealed Monday.

Demographics: Deglobalization Will Fix Climate Change

By Anony Mee, AM THINKER

Image: Ghost town (cropped) by pxfuel.

“We are on the verge of something fundamentally different right now, yes. But a lot of it looks more like the world before 1945 than the world of the future.” There is good news coming out of the global population collapse.

A little while back, a friend introduced me to the work of developmental economist Peter Zeihan. He identifies as a socially conservative libertarian but seems to be slightly further to the left than that. His science is spot on and he presents it in a way that’s agenda-free. He tells it like it is, is known for his accurate forecasts, and I think we need to listen to him. Here is a recent and very concise presentation of his scholarship.

Channel 13 News poll: Religious Zionism Party is the third largest in the Knesset

[Joint List MK: We’ll vote in favor of dissolving the Knesset]

T. Belman.  New elections look like a done deal, but I can’t believe the strength of Yamina.

Yamina wins eight seats and Ra’am does not pass the electoral threshold. The Likud has 36 seats.

Channel 13 News poll conducted by Prof. Camil Fuchs and published on Monday finds that Mansour Abbas’ Ra’am party would not pass the electoral threshold if elections were to be held today.

In contrast, after several consecutive polls in which it failed to pass the electoral threshold, Gideon Saar’s New Hope passes it and wins four seats.

The real Zelensky: from celebrity populist to unpopular Pinochet-style neoliberal

By

Ukrainian academic Olga Baysha details Volodymyr Zelensky’s embrace of widely loathed neoliberal policies, his repression of rivals, and how his actions fueled the current war with Russia.

A comedic actor who rose to the country’s highest office in 2019, Volodymyr Zelensky was virtually unknown to the average American, except perhaps as a bit player in the Trump impeachment theater. But when Russia attacked Ukraine on February 24, 2022, Zelensky was suddenly transformed to an A-list celebrity in US media. American news consumers were bombarded with images of a man who appeared overcome by the tragic events, possibly in over his head, but ultimately sympathetic.  It didn’t take long for that image to evolve into the khaki-clad, tireless hero governing over a scrappy little democracy and single-handedly staving off the barbarians of autocracy from the east.

The Nazi Evil Behind Germany’s Wealthiest Companies

By Janet Levy, AM THINKER

Supplying uniforms to the German empire, textile magnate Gunther Quandt made millions during World War I.  Shortly after, when electrification was booming worldwide, he gained control of one of the world’s largest battery-makers.  He soon acquired one of Germany’s primary arms and ammo manufacturers.  This was just the beginning.  He went on to gain stupendous wealth and power through deals with the Nazis.  The story of Quandt, as told in David de Jong’s Nazi Billionaires: The Dark History of Germany’s Wealthiest Dynasties, evokes awe and dread.  For it is about soulless profiteering and participation without any qualms in the enslavement and massacre of millions of Jews.

Yentl’s revenge: Young American-Jewish women outperform all others academically

[Ian Lustick told the psychology department to fire Dr. Gil-White]

A new study shows that young women with a Jewish upbringing are 23 percentage points more likely to earn a bachelor’s degree than non-Jewish young women of similar socioeconomic status. Jewish women also attend more selective universities than women from other religions in the United States.

Published in the American Sociological Review“From Bat Mitzvah to the Bar: Religious Habitus, Self-Concept, and Women’s Educational Outcomes” also shows that girls with two Jewish parents have even higher educational attainment than do girls with one Jewish parent. In addition, Jewish girls do better academically than Jewish boys, with 81 percent of Jewish girls graduating from a four-year college, but only 61 percent of Jewish boys earning undergraduate degrees.

Why ‘Harvard Crimson’ BDS support demands our attention

Why do so many Jewish 18-year-olds begin their university studies with the pro-Israel sentiments they learned at home, then emerge four years later more sympathetic to the Palestinian cause?

The news that The Harvard Crimson newspaper issued an editorial in support of the BDS campaign to boycott Israel has surprised many in part because a Crimson editor had been active on social media stating how proud she is as a Jew to have had a part in the publishing of the editorial. We hear a lot about Jewish college students who have become pro-Palestinian. We know about polls showing that younger American Jews are much less connected to Israel than their parents.

How can this trend be explained? Why do so many Jewish 18-year-olds begin their university studies with the pro-Israel sentiments they learned at home, then emerge four years later more sympathetic to the Palestinian cause than to Israel?

By: Aryeh Savir and Sheri Oz/TPS

Israel will establish a national guard to contend with security threats within the country’s borders, Prime Minister Naftali Bennett announced.

Speaking in wake of a series of terror attacks in Israel that claimed the lives of 18 people, Bennett stated during the weekly Cabinet meeting on Sunday that “the supreme task of the Israeli government is to restore personal security to the citizens of Israel,” and therefore it is promoting the establishment of a National Guard.

The chairman of Ra’am is angry with Bennett’s conduct regarding Ra’am’s demands vis-à-vis the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

On Saturday, Abbas sought to coordinate with the King of Jordan the moves on the Temple Mount. According to a senior member of the coalition, the crisis with Ra’am is serious and close to being irreversible.

As Knesset Prepares to Topple Bennett Government, Shaked May Have Readied a Lifeboat

By David Israel ,  JEWISH PRESS

Sources close to Prime Minister Naftali Bennett have denounced Interior Minister and Bennett’s political partner and ally for more than a decade Ayelet Shaked, saying she is “heating up the situation with her announcement about the Temple Mount and her blessing for convening a planning council to discuss settlement construction.” According to those sources, cited Sunday morning by Reshet Bet radio, “Shaked sticks fingers in the eye of our coalition partners, and if she continues like this, this coming Knesset session will end right when it starts.”

Election Whores of the Democrat Party

by Linda Goudsmit, PUNDICITY      May 8, 2022

Election integrity and freedom of speech are the two most basic requirements for a democracy, a government by the people, exercised directly or through elected representatives. The 2020 United States presidential election breached them both. Unprecedented in US election history, Democrat-run cities in battleground states suspended vote-counting, and then mysteriously resumed with drastically changed trajectories of the vote count. Americans went to sleep certain that President Donald Trump had been reelected. When they woke up, Joe Biden had mysteriously surged ahead to “win” the election. Americans remain shocked, confused, and angry. What happened??
