EU Withholds 200 Million Euros From Palestinian Authority, PA Enraged

By

For years the Palestinian Authority has been criticized by the European Union for continuing to use textbooks full of antisemitic and violent passages, and for years the PA has pledged that it would deal with the problem and remove the offending material. It still hasn’t done so, and now the EU, exasperated with the promises that are never fulfilled, has finally done the only thing that might persuade the PA to revise those textbooks – it has withheld over 200 million euros in aid it had earmarked for the PA. A report on this withholding of EU aid is here: “Palestinian Authority Official Confirms Freeze on Millions in European Aid Over Textbook Concerns,” by Dion J. Pierre, Algemeiner, March 23, 2022:

BOMBSHELL: New Research Finds Massive Amounts Of “Excess Votes” For Biden In Key Swing States

S. Keshel. Sorry Mr. Lott, but the number for these six is easily over 2 million, not 255,000.

by

As the days go by, what happened in the 2020 election becomes even more apparent.

Researchers now estimate that Joe Biden received over 255,000 extra votes in key swing states.

There appear to be over 250,000 “extra votes” for President Joe Biden in six key battleground states in the 2020 election, if not far more, according to a new analysis of ballot counts.

NATO Member Breaks with Biden on Russia: ‘I Can’t Leave My People in the Cold’

By Samantha Chang, WESTERN JOURNAL  March 28, 2022

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan inadvertently illustrated how useless the North American Treaty Organization is and how toothless Western sanctions against Russia are, when all is said and done.

The leader of NATO member Turkey — which has good relations with both Russia and Ukraine — said that while he condemns Russian aggression, he will not impose sanctions because doing so would harm his nation’s energy industry and hurt the Turkish people.

Enough with the Jewsplainin

By Diane Bederman

We, the Jewish people are the Light Unto the Nations. We bend the knee to no one.

We gave the world the ethic of freedom, without which we all would be serfs serving a pharaoh.

I don’t know about you, but I have had enough Jewsplainin’. Explaining my right to exist as a Jew. And now the right to have a Jewish state. There is an entire industry, aided and abetted by main stream media, devoted to promoting the lie that Jews are not indigenous to the land of Israel. That Jews are interlopers. No other people or country spends so much time explaining their rights. When was the last time you heard Iran justify its existence?  We are one of the oldest civilizations. I think China may be the oldest. Do you see China justifying her right to exist? Ever? Justify their policies? No.

How Israel should respond to the Iranian nuclear deal:

Expand Jerusalem to the Jordan Valley

By Dr. Mordechai Kedar

(Translated into English as a public service by the Sovereignty Movement)

As these words are being written in late March 2022, we are hearing reports from the media that it is very likely that the United States will soon sign a new improved nuclear deal with Iran, one very much in Iran’s favor. This new deal would allow Iran to become a nuclear power within a few years, does not address the long-range missiles that Iran is developing, producing and using, and ignores the death and destruction that the Iranian Islamic Republic has sown throughout the Middle East. No doubt, Iran has come out the winner Vienna.

Bliken received a blunt message at the Negev Summit.

REPLY:
We will supply the share of oil and fill the shortage in the global market, but on the condition that sanctions against Iran are not lifted, and we will act militarily against Iran and its militias in Lebanon, Syria, Iraq and Yemen with US-Israeli support…This move is a sincere promise and the collapse of the Iranian regime.

Israel, Stop Fearing Vladimir Putin

T. Belman. I agree with Melman when he says Israel shouldn’t fear Putin’s reaction in Syria but I do not agree with him when he goes on to say Israel “must stand with the west in its struggle against the Russian evil.”

By Yossi Melman, HAARETZ

Discourse over Israel’s policy about the war in Ukraine focuses on the tension between issues of the Holocaust, morality, justice and universal values, refugees and human compassion, and what has been defined as “security interests.” This means, as Israel’s history proves, it’s a lost cause. Interests will always trump values. And so Israel has refrained from giving military assistance to Ukraine, as Western countries are doing, first and foremost the United States and NATO countries.

What is behind Russia’s interest in a warming Arctic?

The last untapped area for shipping routes and exploitation is opening up and leading to new geopolitical tensions.

By

The Arctic is one of the last remaining untapped areas of the world.<

Its harsh climate and temperatures hostile to human life have long acted as a natural barrier to development and exploitation, but the climate crisis is fast changing this.

Six countries surround the Arctic Ocean, perched on the top of the world: Russia, Canada, the United States, Denmark, Norway and Iceland.

It’s Time for Israel to Stand Up to Biden’s Appeasement of Iran

By Gadi Taub and Michael Doran, HAARETZ

It’s time to admit that the Biden administration’s policy in the Middle East directly threatens vital Israeli interests, chiefly, preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, and blocking the expansion of its regular and proxy forces throughout the region.

The Biden administration’s intentions are clear, and the evidence is unambiguous. On the nuclear issue, Biden’s team had originally promised to strive for a nuclear accord that was “longer and stronger.” But the deal he is negotiating in Vienna precludes the introduction of any improvements over the original accord, since the anticipated deal systematically removes all the meaningful restrictions on Iran’s military nuclear program by January 2031. Many restrictions will be lifted prior to that date. The notion that Tehran would agree to impose on itself restrictions which the powers have already agreed to remove is simply ludicrous.

How many COVID booster shots will finally be enough?

By Brian C. Joondeph, M.D. AM THINKER

From the beginning of the COVID pandemic starting two years ago, we have heard conflicting and often nonsensical recommendations from those charged with knowing better and leading the country through the biggest public health crisis that most of us have ever experienced.

From “15 days to slow the spread” to mask mandates changing as fast as the weather, reality and science was whatever those in power declared it to be on any given day. First, we were told that masks were worthless in stopping viruses. Shortly thereafter we were told to wear one, then two, then one, now back to none.

Biden Administration’s Nuclear Deal: “This Isn’t Obama’s Iran Deal. It’s Much, Much Worse.”

by Majid Rafizadeh, GATESTONE

  • “By every indication, the Biden Administration appears to have given away the store…. What is more, the deal appears likely to deepen Iran’s financial and security relationship with Moscow and Beijing, including through arms sales.” — Statement from 49 US Republican Senators, March 14, 2022.
  • With the increased flow of funds to the ruling mullahs, do expect an increase across Iran in human rights violations and domestic crackdowns on those who oppose the regime’s policies, as hardliners tend to be the ones gaining more power as a result of any lifting of sanctions. Iran’s hardliners already control three branches of the government: the executive, the legislative, and the judiciary.

Biden’s ‘New World Order’

by Pete Hoekstra, GATESTONE  •  March 28, 2022

  • Clearly, America is not leading the “green” new world order, and Biden seems to have no meaningful plan for how to get us there other than radical disruptions to our lifestyle and a heightened reliance on China.
  • When it comes to oil and gas, it seems Biden’s new world order would continue his policy of decreasing American energy independence and increasing U.S. reliance on bad-faith state actors — thereby ironically funding their efforts to undermine America in the global order.

Becoming the strong tribe of the Middle East

T. Belman. Glick may be right and on the other hand, may be wrong. Glick fails to mention Russia as a factor in this game and that may be a fatal flaw.

With the U.S. pulling up stakes in the Middle East, the Sunni Arab states are trying to decide whether to grovel to Iran, or stand with Israel.

By Caroline Glick, Israel Hayom.

In an interview with Fox News, former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu explained that the fight he led against the Obama administration’s nuclear deal with Iran in 2015 instigated the strategic partnership Israel developed with the Sunni Arab states, which in turn spawned the 2020 Abraham Accords. The Saudis, the Emiratis, the Egyptians and other Arab states watched Israel’s leader’s stubborn fight against Obama’s deal with Iran’s regime, a deal that threatened them no less than it threatened the Jewish state, and reached the conclusion that far from being their enemy, Israel was their most powerful and trustworthy ally.

Dollar reserve system frays with India-Russia currency deals

Sanctions on Russia boomerang on US dollar as questions about the rationale behind existing financial system spread far and wide

By DAVID P GOLDMAN, ASIA TIMES   Mar 26/22

NEW YORK – Russia and India took a small but important step towards non-dollar trade financing and investment on March 25, when the Reserve Bank of India allowed Russia to invest the proceeds of its arms sales to India in local-currency corporate bonds.

Russia’s account with India’s central bank is small, with a reported balance of US$262 million, but the prospective advantages to both countries are enormous: India will pay for one of its most important import items, namely Russian weapons, in local currency, and Russia will invest the proceeds in a financial market safe from sanctions.

Israel Summit Shows Ties With Arabs Moving From Ceremony to Substance

T. Belman. This meeting was hastily organized probably at the request of the US who has been shut out by UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt. Although Saudi Arabia is not in attendance, the UAE will speak for them.   The US is desperate for more support in the Ukraine conflict.

Four Arab foreign ministers will meet in Israel’s Negev desert on Sunday, along with their U.S. counterpart. The talks mark a realignment of Middle Eastern powers, accelerated by the war in Ukraine.

Credit…Dan Balilty for The New York Times

JERUSALEM — Israel’s meeting with top diplomats from four Arab countries and the United States, set to start on Sunday, is one of the strongest signs yet that the country is beginning to reap the dividends of normalization deals reached two years ago, a profound realignment of Middle Eastern powers that has been accelerated by the war in Ukraine.

The deals have also prompted Egypt, a long-time peace partner, to engage more meaningfully with Israel as Cairo tries to revive its role as Israel’s bridge to the Arab world. When Israel first announced the summit on Friday, Egypt was not on the list of countries attending — the United Arab Emirates, Morocco and Bahrain. But it was added on Saturday.

Fourth Vaccine Reduces Risk of Dying From COVID by 78 Percent, Israeli Study Finds

As omicron’s BA.2 variant is fueling a spike in COVID-19 infections, the latest large-scale study by an Israeli HMO suggests that a fourth dose reduces both the risk of infection and severe illness

By Yaron Kelner, HAARETZ    Mar 26/22

Separate studies by Israel’s two largest health care providers published Saturday suggest that the fourth vaccine dose significantly reduces the risk of dying from COVID-19 when compared to the protection offered by three doses of the vaccine.

The study by Clalit Health Services, Israel’s largest health maintenance organization, demonstrates a reduced risk of death, while Maccabi Healthcare Services’ study shows that a fourth vaccine reduces both the risk of infection and of severe illness.
