T. Belman. This is an excellent rundown of previous NATO representations and expansions. Even so, Palki Sharma says Russia’s invasion was criminal and says “invading a sovereign country cannot be justified,” I disagree. The facts she discloses justifies Russia invading as an act of self-defense.
Furthermore she didn’t bother to say that there was a CIA inspired coup in 2014, The Ukrainian army spearheaded by their Nazi forces have been bombarding the Russian citizens in the eastern provinces ever since, killing 14,000 of them.

Russia’s Defense Ministry said Friday that it has completed the first phase of its “special military operation” in Ukraine and will now focus on the eastern Donbas region, signaling that Moscow’s strategy might be shifting due to military losses and a stalled campaign.
The statement was delivered at a briefing by Sergei Rudskoi, the head of the Russian general staff’s main operational department, who said that Russia’s objectives “of the first stage of the operation have generally been accomplished,” without elaborating.

President Assad of Syria visited the United Arab Emirates (UAE) this past week in an effort to rehabilitate his image and bring his country in line with other Arab world leaders. For many, this was a surprising shift and raised a variety of questions, yet for others, it was an expected move, especially if Assad wants to retain political control of his country and bring his country into “A new Middle East that is being created” with his neighbors who do seem determined to “neutralize Iran”.
JaFaJ sources have confirmed that Russia was behind Assad’s change of position on Iran and is encouraging him to coordinate with the UAE. Assad is reported to have taken Russia’s “friendly advice” by agreeing to cooperate thoroughly with UAE and her friends, some indirectly like Israel, in their efforts to neutralize Iran and limit her influence in the Middle East region.

Gallup on Wednesday published a new poll showing that Americans just love Ketanji Brown Jackson and want her on the Supreme Court right away: she is supposedly broadly popular, more so than anyone who has been nominated to the court since the 1980s. The far-Left news aggregator BoingBoing is thrilled, gushing about “the first black woman nominated to the Supreme Court and the most popular Supreme Court nominee in modern history,” but Gallup’s poll is really less about Ketanji Brown Jackson, whom nobody had ever heard of before Old Joe Biden nominated her to the Supreme Court, than it is about the lingering power of the establishment media. A week ago I took part in a debate on whether Israel should try to mediate or stay out of the Russia-Ukraine conflict. My position was, “Stay out.”
Israel is fortunate enough that there is a conflict that has the attention of the world and that does not in any way, shape or form involve it. Unfortunately, everyone is trying to drag Israel into it anyway. Including Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, the head of a dysfunctional leftist coalition, whose efforts to “mediate” between Russia and Ukraine, have satisfied neither side and only infuriated everyone…
Prime Minister Netanyahu recently called out Bennett’s foolish posturing, saying that, “In days like these, it’s advisable to take positions with the utmost caution.”
“I call on the government to behave responsibly, to speak less about what they don’t need to talk about and to deal more with existential security threats,” he urged.

Before President Biden’s two-hour conversation last week with Chinese president Xi, the exchange was being billed as having “seismic ramifications.” Biden was going to make it clear that China would suffer “severe consequences” for any financial or military aid it provided Russia in the face of U.S. sanctions.
But it doesn’t appear that Biden threatened Xi with “severe consequences” at all. And if he did, Xi blew any such warnings away. Instead, China admitted to nothing, implicated the U.S. and NATO in causing the war, insisted that Russia’s security needs to be addressed, and pressured Biden to help negotiate a settlement.

In a report released this month, Election Systems Integrity Institute concludes that the election signature verification process used in Maricopa County, Arizona, during the 2020 general election was severely unreliable.
According to the study, an estimated 200,000 ballot envelopes with mismatched signatures were sent to be counted without further review by the county, under the supervision of systems engineer Shiva Ayyadurai.
T. Belman. Biden takes no responsibility for peace and says its all up to Zelenskyy to cut a deal. I am sorry but that doesn’t wash. No doubt Russia will demand that any deal he cuts with Zelenskyy be endorsed by the US and NATO and perhaps even the UN. Any deal would certainly require the lifting of all sanctions. If Biden was saying that the US will endorse any deal Zalensky makes and will lift all sanctions if a deal is cut,that would be entirely different matter.
Better still, why isn’t the US brokering a deal as they always do in Israel’s conflicts. Why doesn’t the US intercede and propose a deal? Look at all the lives it could save. Why is it hiding behind Zelenskyy’s skirt.
Biden is standing on the sidelines and encouraging Zelensky to resist rather that to make a deal. Biden doesn’t care to end the bloodshed. In fact he prefer’s it to continue in order to have amunition to attack Putin with.
