The generals’ belated awakening

It is beginning to dawn on the Israelis that when it comes to Iran’s nuclear program, the Jewish state stands alone.

By Caroline Glick, ISRAEL HAYOM

Something is changing in the assessment of the Iranian nuclear threat among Israel’s military brass. Evidence is growing that members of the IDF General Staff and Mossad are beginning to realize that the United States doesn’t share Israel’s goal of preventing Iran from becoming a nuclear power. Last week, for instance, Michael Makovsky, head of the Jewish Institute for National Security of America (JINSA), a Washington-based group that cultivates ties between Israeli and U.S. generals, published an article in the New York Post in which he described their rude awakening.

Makovsky wrote, “Recent meetings with senior defense officials from our closest Middle East ally, Israel, were the most pessimistic I can recall. They perceive America as checked out, adrift, pusillanimous, unfeared and desperate to avoid military confrontation, and Iran as emboldened and nearing the nuclear weapons threshold.”

Israel prepares the F-35 to strike Russian S-400 missile system

T. Belman. I recently posted a video which said that the S-400 system disarmed the F-35’s. This video says otherwise.

Finland picks F-35 in $11B fighter battle Dec 10/21 This doesn’t mean it is effective against the S-400.

I could not find the article in Breaking Defense referred to in this video nor any confirmation that the S-400 would get the better of F-35.

BOMBSHELL: In court filing, Facebook admits ‘fact checks’ are nothing more than opinion

Facebook has admitted in a court of law that such fact checks are not factual at all, but merely opinions.

By Anthony Watts, WHATS UP WITH THAT

People send me stuff.

As we have previously reported, journalist John Stossel is suing Facebook after Facebook’s ‘fact checkers’ labeled climate change information that Stossel posted as “false and misleading”. In the middle of all this is the nefarious website “Climate Feedback” which has a bunch of climate zealots that write up what they claim are “fact checks” for articles, videos, and news stories they disagree with.

Facebook just blew the “fact check” claim right out of the water in court.

If the Vaccine Is So Great, Why Are So Many People Dropping Dead?

By Wayne Allyn Root, TOWNHALL Dec 12, 2021

If the Vaccine Is So Great, Why Are So Many People Dropping Dead?

The COVID-19 vaccines appear to be causing a global health disaster. There are so many warnings from all around the world. I’ll list just a few in this column. But the U.S. media remains silent. They’re as quiet as a church mouse. Why?Japan’s Ministry of Health just announced that “the Moderna and Pfizer Covid vaccines could cause heart-related side effects in younger males.” Health experts in Japan have witnessed skyrocketing rates of myocarditis and pericarditis in young men and teenagers. And they’ve seen the same nonstop heart issues with middle-aged and older individuals. Read more…

“Is the Biden Administration at War with Israel?”

by Guy Millière, GATESTONE INSTITUTE  •  December 12, 2021

  • “The US does not want to open a consulate merely to have a place for diplomatic connections with the PA [Palestinian Authority]. If that is all they wanted, they could easily do this by opening a mission in Abu Dis or Ramallah — where most other countries conduct their relations with the PA… the purpose of opening the consulate is to recognize Palestinian claims to Jerusalem.” — Eugene Kontorovitch, professor, George Mason University, Antonin Scalia School of Law, Israel Hayom, December 5, 2021.
  • The 1963 Vienna Convention on Consular Relations states that “a consular post may be established in the territory of the receiving State only with that State’s consent”. In other words, reopening the consulate may be done only with the consent of the Israeli government.

Vaccines are our strongest weapon against Omicron

T. Belman. Aliza Belman, my daughter, who has her doctorate, and is very informed about Corona and the vaccines as part of her work, constantly rebuts all the negativity published on right wing blogs including this one. She outdoes me in intellect and knowledge leaving me speechless.

The only reason I mention it here is because she is totally supportive of what Bennett is doing and totally rejects the attacks on the vaccines. This is not to suggest that she is right and we are wrong but merely to emphasize that there are two sides to this debate. Each must be heard.

Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and the Health Ministry must launch an emergency national mass vaccination campaign to make sure that the 3 million unvaccinated and partially inoculated Israelis get their shots.

By  Ran Reznik, ISRAEL HAYOM

The fifth coronavirus wave is already here, even before the accelerated spread of the recently identified Omicron variant. The infection wave continues to increase, hundreds of new COVID cases are reported every day, there is a consistent increase in Omicron carriers and a rise in the reproduction rate.

Researchers at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem warned Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and Health Ministry officials on Friday that the fifth coronavirus wave has already begun and that the increase in infections is tangible, and for the first time, the virus is spreading across all sectors and age groups. Other nations, including Germany, Russia, Denmark, and Norway, are already experiencing serious, dangerous, and deadly outbreaks.

Being Pro-Palestinian Actually Means Being Anti-Israel

By Richard L. Cravatts, AM THINKER

Writing in 2009 about the Israeli/Palestinian conflict, the insightful Palestinian/Israeli journalist  observed that, “What is happening on the U.S. campuses is not about supporting the Palestinians as much as it is about promoting hatred for the Jewish state. It is not really about ending the ‘occupation,’” he wrote, “as much as it is about ending the existence of Israel.”

And that is what those who observe the campus activism against Israel have never fully understood: that being pro-Palestinian, by definition, means being anti-Israel.

How to Remove the Iranian Threat

by Victor Rosenthal

I devoutly hope that what I am about to write is completely wrong. Nothing could make me happier than to find out that I’ve been fooled by the clever misdirection of our military leaders, and that in fact they are prepared to deal with Iran.

The impression that I get from reading between the lines of this survey of Israeli capabilities based on sources in the military and security establishment, and other comments made by such sources in recent weeks, is that

    • Israel does have the ability to severely damage the Iranian nuclear project; but
    • she is not prepared for an all-out war with Iran and Iranian proxies in Lebanon, Syria, Gaza, the PA, and even elements of the Arab population inside the Green line; and
    • military planners are just beginning to wake up to the fact that such a widespread conflict is inevitable.

The Jewish State in its true light.

M. Ordman. Israeli innovations continue to flow at an amazing pace. This week’s newsletter includes medical cures for Alzheimer’s and Covid; a cancer mutation database and saliva-based testing kits. The EU awarded a top prize to a female Israeli innovator; Israelis developed innovative devices for the disabled; and Innovation: Africa showcased to 25 African UN Ambassadors. Technological innovations include a new process for extracting hydrogen from water; purifying polluted water using UV LED light; capturing atmospheric CO2 in balloons; and destroying coronavirus using millimeter radiation. In business, Mastercard has opened an Israeli innovation lab; Israeli smart trolleys are heading to the US; and an Israeli startup has launched more virtual shops. Augmented Reality is even being used at Jerusalem’s Botanical Gardens.

Understanding Arab strategy towards Israel

T. Belman. I first became aware of Dr Nisan when I read his fantastic book “Only Israel West of the River.” It was inspirational. He, too, made aliya from Canada. He  also spoke at my conference on the Jordan Option which by the way was first referred to as The Ultimate Alternate Israel-Palestine Solution

Three cases of the strategy of stages in the context of the prolonged Arab-Israeli conflict, highlighting the primary Arab personalities who exhibited sophistication and creativity, with no small dose of duplicity. Op-ed.

By Dr. Mordechai Nisan, INN

Clausewitz wrote in On War, that “war is a mere continuation of policy by other means,” a virtual political instrument. In the same way is politics itself a method of warfare. Not war as an isolated event, rather war as a long strategic vector for victory. Even then, the strategy adopted does not necessarily entail violent warfare because the instrumentalities of politics can be sufficient to overwhelm the enemy.

Trump: Bibi didn’t want a deal, Abbas wanted to make a deal more than Netanyahu

T. Belman.  Of course Abbas wanted to make a deal. He knew he wouldn’t be bound by it and could use it as a stepping stone towards Israel’s destruction. Bibi on the other hand was right to reject a deal because in any deal Israel would be giving up its biblical land to which it had an absolute right to it in inter4national law. Gantz on the other hand is a two-stater and always will be. Trump, on the other hand was a novice to the conflict.  He had no understanding of it, deep down. Trump is a deal maker. Sometimes, any deal is a bad deal.

Trump in new excerpts of his interviews with journalist Barak Ravid: Bibi did not want to make a deal, I liked Gantz a lot.

Israel National News

Netanyahu and Trump

New excerpts of former US President Donald Trump’s interviews with Israeli journalist Barak Ravid for his book on the Abraham Accords were published by Channel 12 News on Saturday night.

“Bibi did not want to make a deal,” Trump said. “Even most recently, when we came up with the maps”, Netanyahu’s reaction was “‘Oh this is good, good,’ everything was always great, but he was never… he did not want to make a deal.”

“I wish he would have said he didn’t want to make a deal because a lot of people devoted a lot of work. But I don’t think Bibi would’ve ever made a deal,” continued Trump.

All about the Deep State

Peloni: Patrick Byrne was part of a rally in TX today.  He covered seven stories with more details than before in which he laid out the full connections of everything he has been discussing since Oct. 2019 including his role in the 2008 financial crisis, the Russian collusion plot, and many other things that have taken place over the past 15yrs.  He relates it all to the current state of affairs and states that he fully expects to be killed or arrested due to his statements.  He also names names, confesses that he is uncertain who is responsible for controlling everything that has been unfolding, but he knows how to find out who is. Definitely worth watching.

The Real Agenda: The 2022 Election is Not a Done Deal

By

I sometimes lose patience with people who separate the cultural from the political or the pandemic from the political or even the economic from the political. There is nothing going on today that is usual or in any fashion, a normal evolution of events. Every bit of discord, mobocracy, or turmoil we are seeing has an agenda. It wears many suits, has many exteriors, is even establishment on its face. It has been well planned and is being carried out with the precision and determination of something demonic.

Democrats and their minions didn’t get this far only to lose an election

Hamas-linked CAIR’s consistent antisemitism gets a pass from the establishment media

T. Belman. CAIR is coddled by the American elite to undermine the US and Israel. It should have been banned ever since it was identified as an Unidentified Co-Conspirator

BY

Once again, the establishment media shows its true colors. CAIR is an unindicted co-conspirator in a Hamas terror funding case — so named by the Justice Department. CAIR officials have repeatedly refused to denounce Hamas and Hizballah as terrorist groups. Several former CAIR officials have been convicted of various crimes related to jihad terror. CAIR’s cofounder and longtime Board chairman (Omar Ahmad), as well as its chief spokesman (Ibrahim Hooper), have made Islamic supremacist statements about how Islamic law should be imposed in the U.S. (Ahmad denies this, but the original reporter stands by her story.) CAIR chapters frequently distribute pamphlets telling Muslims not to cooperate with law enforcement. CAIR has opposed virtually every anti-terror measure that has been proposed or implemented and has been declared a terror organization by the United Arab Emirates. CAIR’s Hussam Ayloush in 2017 called for the overthrow of the U.S. government. CAIR’s national outreach manager is an open supporter of Hamas.

Canada: Groundbreaking win in battle against Palestinian antisemitic propaganda at Toronto District School Board

Antisemitism at the Toronto District School Board has led to a backlash that the Board undoubtedly did not expect. It was high time that the Board faced accountability regarding its use of public funds to promote a pro-Palestinian agenda as part of its “equity” and “diversity” program. The Board’s actions go back to Operation Guardian of the Walls in May, and climaxed with the targeting of a Jewish school board trustee who was taken to the woodshed by the Board for pointing out a disturbing incident of antisemitism displayed by the TDSB’s equity advisor.

The backlash has been unprecedented, involving virtually every Jewish group and supporter of democracy in the Toronto area, and includes a rare statement by the Toronto Board of Rabbis. It ultimately resulted in a victory, in a ground-breaking, precedent-setting vote put to the TDSB Trustees to strike down an antisemitic motion. The battle was intense, and demonstrated what collective determination for the good could accomplish.

Navarro’s book In Trump Time reveals a great deal

Navarro dishes the dirt on Sydney Powel, McConnel, Kushner and Lin Wood

Tierney’s REAL News (12/10/21)

Peter Navarro, Trump’s economic & trade adviser and a key player on election fraud research, and a close friend to Steve Bannon, wrote a book called IN TRUMP TIME. Here are some important statements he made in the book that I think you should know. Not exact quotes, but close:

NAVARRO: “I got along swimmingly with General Flynn dating back to our days at Trump Tower in 2016. We were locked & loaded to advance a tough on China agenda.

Temple Emanu-El Silences a Pro-Israel Voice and Amplifies an Anti-Israel One

“I have been called ‘Israel’s best defender.’ Yet New York’s Temple Emanu-El, the most important reform synagogue, has silenced my voice while amplifying the voice of one of Israel’s most toxic detractors.”Alan Dershowitz.

  • [T]his is exactly how McCarthyism worked back in the 1950s. The institutions that banned people accused of being communists did not necessarily believe the accusations or think that they justified the ban, but they feared being tainted even by false accusations. So, they went along with the ban, just to be safe.

What Russia Wants in Ukraine

by Soeren Kern, GATESTONE INSTITUTE

A Ukrainian serviceman looks through a periscope at his position on the frontline with Russia-backed separatists, not far from Donetsk, on April 22, 2021. – Russia’s defence minister ordered an end on April 23 to military drills near Ukraine’s border involving tens of thousands of troops and dozens of warships that had exacerbated tensions with the West. The Ukrainian president welcomed the move, saying it reduced tensions after weeks of renewed flighting in the east of the ex-Soviet country between government troops and pro-Moscow separatists. In July, Putin published a 5,000-word article — “On the Historical Unity of Russians and Ukrainians” — in which he wrote that he was convinced that the “true sovereignty of Ukraine is possible only in partnership with Russia.”

Shin Bet chief to cabinet: Israel should strengthen PA

T. Belman. I take exception to this advice. But it is not a departure from the past but a reaffirmation of past policies. Yes Hamas is not our friend, nor is the PA. It stems from a defeatist attitude.  Israel permitted the creation of Hamas in the 1980’s believing that it would be a counter to Fatah. Big mistake. And now she wants the PA to be a counter to Hamas.  The PA cannot be salvaged.  It is too far gone. Other options should be explored such as  Mordechai Kedar’s Emirates Plan or my Jordan Option.

Israel Security Agency chief Ronen Bar reportedly told ministers that PA is in a difficult situation and should be strengthened.

By Ben Ariel, INN

Ronen BarShin Bet communications

Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) chief Ronen Bar told the political-security cabinet at an annual intelligence assessment this past Sunday that the Palestinian Authority (PA) is in a difficult economic and governmental situation, and that there is a fear it could collapse, Barak Ravid of Walla! News reported on Thursday.

Two ministers who attended the cabinet meeting told Walla! that Bar added that Israel must work to strengthen the PA. The Shin Bet and the Prime Minister’s Office refused to comment on the report.
