The October 25 military coup in Sudan follows a prevailing trend in the Arab world.

A coup has taken place in Sudan. In a series of moves on the morning of October 25 straight from the well-thumbed handbook of Arab military takeovers, Sudanese military forces stormed the country’s state broadcaster. At an unspecified hour, Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdok and a number of his ministers were taken into custody by the military. The coup’s leader and apparent instigator, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Lieutenant-General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, then delivered a televised address in which he announced that an “independent and fair representative government” would hold power until elections, to be held in 2023.

Last week, John Durham’s grand jury issued its third criminal indictment in the Trump-Russia collusion hoax. The person who was arrested may be obscure; the news may have been buried after Virginia’s bombshell election results; but Durham’s move is a big deal. It shows that the special counsel’s probe is methodically unraveling a huge conspiracy, seemingly engineered by Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign and implicating James Comey’s FBI, either as a willing participant or as utterly incompetent boobs.

What Durham and a few intrepid reporters are uncovering may well be the most ambitious dirty trick pulled in an American election and its aftermath. The question now is whether Durham can expose the full extent of this malfeasance and charge those who planned and executed it.

These speakers include: Dr. Sara Yael Hirschhorn’s extreme demonization of Israel has included accusing Israel of perpetrating “ethnic cleansing” and “daily violations of human rights,” and calling Israel’s lawful Nation-State law “horrific.”

Hirschhorn also condemns “denial of Palestinian sovereignty.” In other words, she views Palestinian Arab demands for a 23rd Arab nation-state as valid; but condemns Israel for identifying as a Jewish state.

Across the country, school boards have lost all sense of reality. They have established local monarchies where they claim complete control and deem parents domestic terrorists. They are establishing policies and curriculum that parents abhor. They think it is their right to indoctrinate students as young as four in Critical Race Theory and other agenda items of the radical left. They are telling parents to butt out. Their child’s education is none of their business. While most school board members are sincerely dedicated to the education of the students in their respective districts, many have become unaccountable tyrants.

T. Belman. In retrospect, Victor says that passing the budget and avoiding another inconclusive election was not  sufficient reason to buy off Abbas.  I had another reason for supporting Bennett’s move which is not yet apparant and may never be.

It’s painful, but I have to admit that I was wrong.

I supported the Bennett-Lapid government because I believed that nothing could be worse than the instability of an endless series of elections and caretaker governments. The challenges facing the country were too great, from Hamas to the new American administration which was (and is) poised to try to force us into another series of concessions to the PLO while enabling Iran’s atomic project and holding us back from striking it. I wanted the country to have a budget, which it hadn’t had since 2018. And I felt that it was time for Binyamin Netanyahu to step down (although, unlike some, this was not my primary concern).

The effectiveness of the three COVID-19 vaccines available in the United States has declined in recent months, with protection against infection falling under 50 percent for two of them after six months, according to a new study.

Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine dropped to 58 percent in September from 89.2 percent effectiveness in March, researchers found. During the same time frame, Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine fell to 43.3 percent from 86.9 percent, and Johnson & Johnson’s shot declined to 13.1 percent from 86.4 percent.

By M. ben Manachem.  Israel has the technology and know-how to contribute to the nuclear industry and become a major worldcenter for SNR distribution.  However, to do so we need to begin by implementing this “at home”.

I am somewhat responsible for the negative attitude in Israel to nuclear power for electricity (I was the advisor to the Government that lobbied against it some 40 years ago).  The technology at that time was far different from what exists today.

It is time for Israel to “get over it” and embrace this.  We could combine with the UAE and Bahrain to commercialise this and capture a very significant portion of the world market.

Its total greenhouse-gas emissions are 1/700th those of coal—and one-fourth those of solar.

” the six organizations were fronts for the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. Israel, the United States and the European Union consider the PFLP, one of several member parties of the Palestine Liberation Organization, to be a terror group.

“Those organizations were active under the cover of civil society organizations, but in practice belong and constitute an arm of the [PFLP] leadership, the main activity of which is the liberation of Palestine and destruction of Israel,”

you will see that the NYT did not remotely deal with Israel’s allegations.
